Hey, we found the latest installment in the ongoing “war on women,” and — shocker — the GOP is nowhere to be found. Katy Perry tweeted her opinion of Chief Keef’s latest track Tuesday, and the rapper didn’t appreciate the criticism.

We passed on Katy Perry as a role model long before she started dressing up as an Obama ballot, and this apology in the face of misogyny only confirms our instincts. Why is she sorry for expressing her opinion?

  • pairadimes

    She’s an idiot.

    • Jeremy

      yep and very untalented

      • Barack Hussein Sharpton

        She’s cleverly packaged mediocrity.

        • Katie Smith

You’re so right. I’ve been saying this for years. The woman can wear make-up like no other. Underneath the expensive products is a truely homely girl that no one would look twice at on the street.

        • Secede

Thats the first picture of her I’ve ever seen without prominent cleavage showing…..

  • Randi Starr

    This is a WGAD story.

  • HuandaRulz

Gangsterism at its best, but disrespect for women has been brought by the commercial use of women as sex objects. Feel sorry for Katy Perry since her apology seems to come from fear not from wrongdoing. As for ChiefKeef he is a sorry excuse of a man.

  • Jeremy

She was on vacation when brains were given out.

  • Jim Evans

    Katy is right!!!

  • theslowrider

Can’t believe you are publishing this crap.

    • NRPax

Then get in touch with the Twitchy staff and demand a refund of your membership fees. The turnaround on that is pretty quick.

    • marssnw

I think the article is put up to confirm how stupid Hollywood is. You know, just in case we forget.

    • bluewaternavy

Why? This proves just how incredibly stupid Hollywood is-and how hypocritical.

  • Graham Shaw

Too bad Perry had gained a modicum of my respect by stating that. Who the heck is this other guy anyway. Neither of these have had any major contributions to music in years (or ever if you don’t consider Lesbian s Till Graduation-eque songs to be talent)

    • Zane Henry

I think he’s this week’s Soulja Boy, whatever that is.

This crowd of hip hop Johnny Come Lately-s all remind me of the Brady Bunch episode about Greg and the Johnny Bravo matador suit.

If you want to see an “artform” stuck in neutral you need look no further than hip hop. It’s as formulaic as a sitcom, and about half as entertaining. I used to be a fan of hip hop, but that was more than 2 decades ago.

And there’s absolutely no excuse for this future has-been to go all pimp-y on Katy Perry. I wonder if he would have bowed up to LL Cool J if he would have trashed his new single. It’s sad to see this horrible liberal war on women.

      • rinodino

        Cause this
rapper is liberal ? Tell me how you know ?

        • Zane Henry

I just extrapolated from the abusive attitude toward a woman and the sense of being entitled to everyone’s adulation without having the talent to deserve it.

Are we all convinced yet that the music industry is evil? No intelligent rappers on the radio, but this Chief Keef clown was given a deal? not that Katy’s music is any better but ah well.

  • papertiger0

Chief Keef and the surrender monkey singing “Someone needs a bath”.

I’m probably going to hell for saying that.

    • John Thomas “Jack” Ward III

      No you’re not…BTW, who is this Chief Keef anyway, and WHO THE F!@#$%&*?!K does he think he is? No wonder all these Gangsta Rappers get good reviews from music critics, because these thugs intimidate ’em! #MusicTriviaTime #RightWard Jawamax 8<{D}

wow, what a bo-tart, she should have just blocked him and moved on with life. Or, as Andrew Breitbart would have done, re-tweeted it first

  • BlahBlah

  • BlahBlah

Why is Rihanna tweeting from Perry’s acct?

He hit me and it felt just like a kiss.

“Last Friday nightWe went streaking in the park
    Skinny dipping in the dark
Then had a menage a trois
    Last Friday night
Yeah I think we broke the law
    Always say we’re gonna stop-op”

I guess singing about partying all the time until you black out and can’t remember it is okay if it’s catchy pop song. I’m not defending Chief Keef’s stupid song, but Katy Perry lamenting civilization’s downfall is rich.

  • CombatDiver

Never heard of this Chief Keef fellow until I checked out this story and I must say, he seems pretty tough. Threatening, via twitter, to smack a woman is gangsta and the epitome hardcore. YOU SOOO SCARY CHEIF KEEF….. That being said, any woman that would marry Russell Brand probably deserves to be smacked.

  • Chevypowered

Don’t focus on this, what about the GOP’s war on women!!!11!!111!!!!1!!1

  • Cajun

Keep on layin’ with the brothas’, apologizin’ to the brothas’, feelin’ sorry for the brothas’, and you will find your life in a ditch. You white folk better listen good, better stop being cowards and stand up, do what you gotta do, or they gonna take all you have, and more. Call me what you will, but look around, what I said is true.

    • rinodino

Yee haw!!!! You tell em cousin Jed , we use to roll with the southern dems back in the day when they wouldn’t allow blacks in the party but now they have got all nice and welcoming to the brothas so we roll with the republicans cause they agree with your statement and want to keep the south all red, so lets keep telling the truth about those brothas!!! Yeeeee haw!!!!!

  • Guest

This guy is the obvious product of our liberal educational system. Aren’t we all so proud?

  • http://twitter.com/InformedNow InformNow

Katy needs to change her last name from Perry to Hoover cuz she’s certainly sucking that skin off… Suck Katy… Suck Katy… As far as ChiefKeef… Never heard of him, not important enough to even Google!

  • marssnw

She says she is a huge fan after he talked to her like that? That’s some strong girl power you have Miss Perry. Might as well become a professional doorknob or foot mat to the rest of Hollywood.

  • peteee363

now if obama had a son, would he be chief, or would he listen to chief while smackin his bi$%h?? oh, and i am not a katy fan, except for her looks, music not so much.

    • VicBailey

What do you think would happen if Bama smacked Mrs Bama? We’d be looking for a new dumbass for the White House! Semper Fi.

  • Sean

No need to apologize Katy, I feel the same way every time when my radio ‘dial’ accidentally lands on a pop station.

  • $29520529

DemocRATS – the party of peace?

  • NH

I would bathe in her sweat.

  • irishgirl91

So equality means getting to say we’re sorry if we have an opinion and a man threatens to abuse us for it? Ah, progress.

    • $2943864

      “make me a sammich!” jk

  • Joe W.

Let all of these liberal moon bats knock the crap out of one another. They are all a bunch of vermin maggots anyway.

  • John Thomas “Jack” Ward III

    It’s a FREE COUNTRY, KATIE-You can LIKE or HATE whatever music you want! An example: Some songs I hate include “We Built This City” #TheStarship #JeffersonWheelchair #jeffersonAirsickBag “Dream Weaver” #GaryWright and a couple of Rod Stewart songs that remind me of JHS GF #FreeExpression #MusicTriviaTime #RightWard Jawamax 8<{D}

That’s a first. The GOP has been implicated in all of the other wars on women, including ONE currently happening in the US House of Representatives.

Mainstream rap disrespects women, just like the anti-choice activists. Two sides of the same misogynistic coin.

    • Mark Desade

You dufus, the Muslim Brotherhood has visited the White House more than 50 times over the last 2 years. They have to keep logs of all visitors. Do you know what platform the Muslim Brotherhood’s political points are? The ones that won them election in Egypt and other Middle East Countries? They are 1) No drivers license for women 2) No jobs for women (unless it’s unfillable and still requires a husband’s approval) and 3) no going out in public without a male escort and you must wear government approved covers for your head. You will be overtaken because you’re to dumb to even know their platforms and Obama’s buddy system with them. One day, it will too late for you and your types.

  • RA

What a pathetic misogynist. Why is this considered acceptable?

  • AtomicMug

Nat King Cole said the EXACT SAME things to Barbara Streisand when she covered “The Christmas Song”. Sigh. This country is devolving.

  • ⚔Christophuh⚔

I hate the whole Hip Hop culture.

  • andycanuck

    Chief Keef isn’t Keith Olbermann?
    Never mind.

  • Phebelyn

She never stops disappointing. Just stand up for what you believe!

  • gekkobear

“Dat bitch Katy Perry Can Suck Skin Off Of my Dick”

Naah, that would take too long, lets compromise and have her do the same thing with a potato peeler.

Same results, so I’m sure it’ll be ok.

  • LegalizeShemp

“Keef” or “kief” are the trichomes of Cannibis plants, like most entertainers, they like to slip a weed reference into their work and chuckle all the way to the bank.

  • Bleau Gumms

Hah, that jig just showed 2 of the 3 classic chimp emotions: anger and muh dik. All he needed to do was show gibsmedat and he would have accomplished 100% in one tweet.

Better luck next time, boot lip!

  • W Randall

He says “I’ll Smack the $hit Out of Her” and she apologizes???

  • Jedd McHead

    Wow, a self-loathing liberal? Shocker.
