Someone at Reuters sure wants to be on the Justice Department’s “do not spy on” list. There are plenty of ways to title this article on the Obama administration’s AP scandal, but if the White House had its way (and who’s to say it didn’t?), this wording gets it just right without venturing too far into “Dear Leader” territory.

reuters-headline

The press can’t always hold a megaphone up to the president’s mouth, but Reuters certainly gave it their best shot.

Dear Leader is strongly in favor of the peoples right to enjoy greatly the excellent writings of government approved news and is saddened much by reports of subversive and dangerous material as published by unhappy bloggers.

Obama “against” prosecuting reporters for doing their jobs now that he is caught persecuting them for doing their jobs… with his IRS thugs

  • Dane Gunderson

Hey Disqus… you work for the #IRS or what?

  • CobraJet428

Ø’s message was sent and received. Now, the question is, will the media cower or get angry and be forced to do their jobs. Hate to say it but if the WH press corps doesn’t neutralize his tyranny it’s going to suck around here.

    • Chevypowered

Sadly the media enjoy getting b!itch slapped by Obama and his minions. Which I agree will “suck” for us. Everything Obama does is “Historic” and can do no wrong. We will be reminded of that as we all go over the cliff.

  • ceemack

This is the Limbaugh Theorem in big, bold letters.

Obama’s own administration accused James Rosen of criminality for pursuing a story. Now Obama says “Oh, that’s SO wrong.”

How does this guy have the chutzpah to keep disowning the actions of his own administration? Either he’s lying, or he hasn’t got the vaguest clue of what’s going on.

    • Squirrel!

Either way, it isn’t good. I personally don’t buy that he knows none of what’s been happening since the start.

Is anyone running a sweepstake on WHEN the Obamas will be departing,

Am I missing something here? I really feel like I’m missing something. If the White House believed there were security leaks, shouldn’t they have tapped the phones of and accessed the emails of, oh I don’ know…THEIR person creating the leaks and not the recipient of the information? If Barry has people in his Admin with security clearance who are leaking information, the focus should be on them and not the reporters because it’s not the reporters who are breaching a security clearance. I’m really not all that impressed that Barry has so graciously decided the reporters shouldn’t be prosecuted considering they weren’t the problem – his OWN people were.

    • tom_billesley

How about Senators or Members of Congress? Maybe that’s who he’s after

This comes to no surprise to me since AP and Reuters are Obama butt kissers.

  • Lienathan

He doesn’t know about anything happening in his administration and has no responsibility for anything happening in his administration. Apparently he’s just a figurehead, not in charge of anything.

Two choices – he’s corrupt, or he’s incompetent. Pick your poison.

    • MyrmidoNOT

      Good comment!
      “Mr. Irresponsible”…’he’ be… (Bush did it, kinda guy…) 😉

      Although I propose a ‘third’ choice: Staunch ideologue;
who’s incompetent as a leader, and corrupt as a politician.
