No, we haven’t watched “Nightline” in years either. Is this typical of the show now, or is it just a ronely — uh, lonely  — holiday weekend behind the keyboard?

A: A hungry one that feeds on douchebag news presenters

harsh! Correct me if i’m wrong, but aren’t these the best bears?

  • Danno Mann

When they are FORCED to IGNORE the 0bamanation the 0bamaGanda forces end up being obviously irrelevant tools just like the people that follow them.

  • patsw

A college student I would stay up late just to watch this show because it was the only program that could take the time to do more than a headline. What a parody of itself it has become.

  • maplebob23

I thought Nightline was canceled years ago.

    • InformNow

No, it was just Ted Koppel…

  • HuandaRulz

Irrelevant program from irrelevant people makes it irrelevant to watch, just like my irrelevant comment.

    • Scott Anderson

Are we sure this isnt a fake parody account?

  • KansasGirl

I wouldn’t call it NIghtline, I’d call it flatline.

I prefer mine dark but not bitter. Oh, “bear,” not “beer.” Sorry.

O/T I apparently offended a lot of folks here with my comment re:Glenn Beck putting Victor to sleep. Alas, I didn’t get back to that article until comments were closed.

From the mid-70’s to the mid-80’s I buried a dozen family members. My parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, a cousin. From the age of 15-25 my family never gathered for Thanksgiving or Christmas. We got together at funerals. Today there is just one cousin, my sister, and myself left. So I hope you understand I cannot be emotional over the death of an animal. I’m out of tears.

I understand where your coming from, at least, in a small way. I lost my grandmother, aunt, and uncle in the course of three months (april-june 2010). I still feel sad when a pet dies, but after that three months, losing first one to cancer, then one to alzheimer’s, then one to a broken heart (aided and abetted by alcohol over my aunt’s death), the loss of a pet doesn’t hit me as hard as that.

People don’t stop and think about it from other people’s perspective. As much as losing a beloved pet sucks, its much worse to watch a parent, grandparent, or other beloved relative die in a horrible, potentially excruciating way. My last dog went easy when put to sleep. My aunt died in horrible agony that pain meds couldn’t touch, courtesy of cancer. My Grandma died not remembering who she was, where she was, or who anyone is, blind, mute, and terrified. People that give you hate because you’ve seen worse then they have, well, ignore those people.

Oooh, I like that last question. What kind of bear is the best bear?

Nightline could totally do a special about bears all over the world, like in America and also in Benghazi!

Then they could like do a little history lesson about Benghazi!!

    Make it a teachable moment.

Then ask why President Obama denied a requested rescue mission for our murdered ambassador.

Oooh, Must-see TV … oh, wait … that was the old slogan from the “Nothing-But-Crap” channel – also irrelevant. Never mind!
