Unless Touré has finally decided to use the royal “we” to refer to himself, he’s assuming he speaks on behalf of all African-Americans when it comes to gun control and the Second Amendment.

What has the MSNBC host so up in arms (or at least as close as he’ll get to being up in arms)? The NRA has added YouTube senstation Colion Noir as a contributor, and Think Progress isn’t pleased. As Noir asserts in his first video for the NRA, the person “telling me to get rid of my guns when I need them the most, isn’t my friend, isn’t looking out for my best interests and doesn’t speak for me or the community that I’m part of.” Touré must have missed the “doesn’t speak for me” part.

It’s worth noting that Noir isn’t reading from a stock script; his home-produced videos have made him an Internet star.

By the way, do you know how POWERFUL the NRA and the Repubs are? The Dems have had the WH for the past 4 years, the Senate for the last six and the House since 2006 minus 10- current. They are DEEP in the #JediMindMeld force! They can control the Dems like puppets, that is why they are the ones to blame. I always blame the ones not in control when things happen.

These are NOT the Romulans you are looking for.

  • http://twitter.com/jimni27 Jimni27

Love it! This is what the NRA has to do to counteract the DEMS stereotyping them as angry old white men. It’s sad that they played that hand repeatedly, but so be it.

  • Frank Smiles

Expect the MSM to demonize Colin Noir early and often. It’s their tactic to neutralize anyone that goes “against the grain”

    • Ken Alan Draper

of course, they follow their alinsky rules for radical book to the letter.

  • independentjones

Thank you, Colion Noir. It IS a common sense issue.

Looking forward to more videos and commentary.

  • Frank Drebin

Black Christian Conservative Republican Patriot Alfonzo Rachel takes it to the Libs on just about every issue in his ‘ZoNation’ Youtube series, including the Second Amendment.

Also, he’s a Michelle Malkin fan, according to his Twitter

    • http://www.facebook.com/138900508 Patrick Dennehy

Alfonzo, like Colion, is a common sense patriot

    • Catchance

I was just thinking the same thing. Love ‘Zo, and this guy is another, common-sense thinker, able to point out the insanity of gun control.

    • http://www.facebook.com/lisa.dean.564 Lisa Dean

      Alfonzo rocks!

    • ojfl

And Sonja Smith, Star Parker, etc. Too many to count Frank, unless you are the media who want to simply ignore their existence.

    • Frederick Weaver

Zo is brilliant because of his comedy and spot on facts.

    • Kimihiro Watanuki

      I love his stuff.

Now if only the NRA was giving away ammo. They might be as favorable as they’ve ever been.

  • Love of Country

Mr. Noir is our kinda guy! Sadly, I believe I already hear many racists warming-up in the DNC bullpen as we speak. Get ready, Mr. Noir, I fear you’re about to be afflicted by their 200 year old heinous disease called bigotry. I wish you the best and thanks for speaking out …. it means a lot!

    Two Thumbs Up.

  • Peyton

We? And what if a conservative said we or they?

    • 96leroy

Conservatives say ‘we’ when it applies to an actual and existing group of people. Liberals say ‘we’ to give the impression there is an actual existing group of people. The same formula they use whilst repeat something over and over again so the low-info voter will think it’s true.

    • http://www.black-and-right.com/ IceColdTroll

Conservatism is a fairly consistent ideology, and so the use of “we think” is more or less appropriate. Being black is not a belief system, regardless of what you and the Collaborationist Media urge us to believe.

False analogy, strawman, or just plain stupid. You tell us what you did there.

  • Love of Country

Hey Toure ….. show me one conservative neighborhood anywhere in the entire country with a gun problem …. show us just one.

  • Maxx

Toure reveals a common thread with liberals…they think all African-Americans think like they do or SHOULD think like they do. It’s incredibly insulting…this assumption that conservatism is somehow a “white” thing and those Blacks who aren’t liberals are somehow traitorous to the “cause.”

By using the word “we,” Toure insults members of his own race. The implication is they are too stupid to think for themselves and thus must have Toure speak for them.

I’ve got news for you Toure, the most passionate conservatives I work with are Black, and they have harsher words for Obama than I do.

    • Paul Citro

      Well put..

    • $23629333

It’s precisely because I know that there are a lot of conservative African Americans – and, many of them socially conservative – that I believe the results of the last election were fraudulent. The ballot boxes – in places like Philadelphia – were stuffed with a pro-Obama ballot for every African American voter in a particular polling area. Any actual ballot cast for Romney would have been disregarded.

    • NRPax

I thought saying “All you people think alike” was an insult. Maybe Toure didn’t get the memo?

    • MaryUKtheScot

I completely agree, the left seem to patronize black people, like they are not free thinking intelligent individuals, its sickening!!

    • Frederick Weaver

I’m one of said Black conservatives with VERY harsh words for Obama and those like him.

  • mike_in_kosovo

I’ve seen several of Colin’s clips over the last year or two…he rocks.

  • Gallatin

Colion Noir, he speaks for me!

    • Frederick Weaver

      Same here.

  • Duane Owen

i am a firearms instructor in VA a trust me more black people are against gun control them you think and a lot don’t like obama

  • capisce

we? dang all those pronouns look alike

  • Jaynie59

I love this guy. I don’t remember how I found his YouTube channel but he’s a wonderful spokesman for gun rights.

There are a lot of conservatives on YouTube. ET Williams calls himself the Doctor of Common Sense. There’s WildBillforAmerica. So many more.

  • michael s

I ‘m a Mr Colion Noir fan. I support Toure and Colion. They both have the same enemies.

    • lainer51

libs see EVERYONE as the enemy… no character, no substance.

    • Frederick Weaver

      Toure supports gun control.
Noir opposes gun control because it has been used to disarm Black people who were then lynched.
How could these two possibly have the same enemies?

  • NeoNationalist

I’ve subscribed to Mr. Noir on youtube for months now and this is a good thing for the NRA.

  • $23629333

Yes, say no to control freaks.

I had my first encounter with control freaks decades ago when I was attending elementary school. Two of the girls in my class – knowing that our teacher was headed elsewhere after that particular school year – decided that the class should present her with a going-away gift. These two young ladies – control freaks in training – also decided what should be purchased for her, and – being nothing if not fair – further decided that each of us in that class should contribute equally to the cost of the gift.

In my mind I can still see and hear them approaching me at the back of the classroom – as I hung up my coat – and informing me of the decisions they had made, and how much I was expected to contribute. As someone who never – really – enjoyed being in school, and never – really – got along with or warmed up to my teachers, and was recognized as such by my classmates, I was a little surprised they approached me. Presumably, they were not – really – surprised with the response they received.

Since then, I have not warmed up at all to control freaks. Nanny Bloomberg represents the classic control freak, and – given his success – he has encouraged his ilk who hold or are seeking political office, or a place in the bureaucracy. If he were to be tossed on his can, that would have a sobering effect on his fellow control freaks.

And in related news, a seven year old gets suspended for having a pop tart in the shape of a gun: http://reason.com/blog/2013/03/01/pop-tart-pistol-7-year-old-gets-suspende

A new Dark Age draws near, I’m sad to say…

  • http://twitter.com/payn3a91 Aaron Payne

He says that it isnt’ a liberal or conservative issues, but a common sense issue. I’d agree if thee left wasn’t trying to enact gun control policies and economic policies that fly int he face of common sense.

  • https://twitter.com/Webnetcity webnetcity

If you want this black christian conservative’s gun so bad lib…

    come and get it..

    • http://www.black-and-right.com/ IceColdTroll

      Tell us, brother!

  • DANEgerus

Why are 54% of gun murders black on black? Looks like a “desperate impact” of the 16% to me
