What’s this about, then? Who’s that guy in the picture? It’s Google co-founder Sergey Brin, spotted on the subway in New York City last month wearing a pair of Google’s Project Glass specs. Yes, they’re Internet-enabled glasses, and you can use them while mountain climbing or doing, erm, anything else.

Get ready; if you thought it was awkward not knowing if that guy wearing the Bluetooth earpiece was talking to you, wait until Google Glass hits the streets in large numbers.

Not so fast, everyone.

Resistance is futile! Matt Drudge, Sunday poet, mocks Sergey Brin and the Google glasses Borg

The glasses remind me of all the people in WALL-E. So busy enjoying their technology, they’re missing out on the wonders around them.

Sometimes it’s good not to be “connected.”

If i had kids I’d have them wear these glasses to school. Never know what they are teaching these days. Glasses might help identify criminals on the streets to. Holdup, purse snatching etc…

Wow, a quantum leap forward for the homemade POV porn industry. Hands-free!! Maybe you can add effects like trails and switching to black and white… and sex will finally have succeeded in simulating a Japanese video game.
