A piece posted on the Washington Times website last weekend set up what looked like the ultimate political showdown of modern times: no, not Obama vs. Romney, but Obama vs. Reagan. As the story goes, Ronald Reagan’s childhood home in Chicago was in danger of being demolished to make room for Barack Obama’s presidential library.
Today, though, Reagan’s son Michael asked followers not to buy into the story, which appeared as part of the Times’ contributor-created and edited “Communities” site.
Pls.For the last time my fathers real boyhood homes in Tampico and Dixon are fine.PLEASE dont buy into the Chicago story.

Reagan was born in Tampico, Ill., and raised in Dixon.
@irritatedwoman It is an apartment building where Reagan lived as a little kid. Please.
