Maybe voter ID isn’t such a crazy idea after all. To the masses of Justin Bieber and One Direction fans watching the People’s Choice Awards Wednesday night, it certainly seemed coincidental that the winners — like Obama superfan Katy Perry — just happened to be in the audience to accept their awards.

Hang in there Selenators; you can take your problems to the United Nations.

Sorry. The world doesn’t revolve around shitty teenagers. Chagrin.

    • AZ

You too were once a shitty teenager and I’m sure you felt the world revolved around you too at that time.

  • ERMERGERD

Wow. That is SO shocking. I’m more concerned about how Romney’s win was stolen, since that is affecting all of us.

…440ish million votes total? If it’s one a one-vote-per-person system, that means roughly one out of every 20 people on the whole earth voted. Somehow, I strongly doubt that. (Then again, I have better taste in music so could care less about popularity vote contests) (November’s notwithstanding, that pissed me off).

  • Dr. Brodah

Perhaps the vote was not rigged. For example, BEFORE THE LIVE SHOW, the votes/poll was counted and the celebrities were contacted to be told that they won, so they show up to accept their reward. Perhaps people are losing interest in Justin Bieber, after all he is getting older and losing his burst of popularity and appeal.

Bieber and Taylor Swift should hook up so BOTH of their careers can be reignited.

How many of them realize that they have a $50,000 share in the national debt? Imagine the outrage if they understood the implications of that.

All these awards go to liberal rah-rah’s.

I’d be happy if the People’s Choice Awards was like the Baseball Hall of Fame and they didn’t give a trophy to anyone this year…

These people crack me up, they are so pathetic in their day to day lives and they don’t realize it. they actually think that this is important. Knowingly most of these people they vote for, support the destruction of their country, but yet they watch and drool like lap dogs, and follow their every move. They can name when these people go to the BATHROOM, but Can’t name one amendment to the Constitution of the USA. So stupid, and have no clue at how ridiculous they look.

  • Finrod Felagund

If the vote had been rigged there’s no way Leverage would have won.

  • ivan

No way did Katty Perry win over One Direction or Bieber in the Fanbase category; she trailed by over 6 million votes. The actual voter count also shows Bieber should have won for pop artist as well as artist of the year-the show is a sham since you have to be there to win unlike the Academy Awards. A waste of time and votes by people!

  • ivan

It should be one vote per person and the number of votes should decide regardless of the presence or absence of the artist .

All those award shows are rigged. Look at who is making them and putting them out. I’m making my “welcome to the party” face.
