Alabama’s 42-14 steamrolling of Notre DameĀ in the BCS championship is in the history books now, so if you missed your chance to make a Karl Rove joke about it, you’re too late. Fortunately, these people took care of it for you.

      ROLL TIDE!

I could care less about sports. However, my mom is an Alabama alum and the Crimson Tide’s biggest fan in the Pacific Northwest, so I was glad when Bama annihilated the “fighting” Irish. The jokes above describe the feeling of the game exactly. Roll Tide!

I was just going to comment the same thing. I smiled reading these tweets, and I’m a Notre Dame fan.

Good thing Alabama has a good football team; the university is worthless otherwise.

Next question is…how long will it be before Obama tweets congrats to Bama along with a photo of him watching the game? There is also the possibility of him saying it’s unfair that Bama has won two in a roll (three within four years), thus needs to be “fair” and allow other teams to win.

My neighbor’s daughter graduated from Alabama last year. She fielded many offers, but took a job for $90,000/year as a chemical engineer for DuPont. Isn’t the new CEO of Lockheed Martin an Alabama grad?
