The New York Times’ Michael Barbaro is reporting that New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg urged Hillary Clinton to consider a run for mayor during a phone call a few months ago.

We’ve already heard rumors of everyone from Alec Baldwin to Anthony Weiner considering a run for the seat, so why not Clinton? Barbaro reports that the Secretary of State told Bloomberg she’s not interested in the job, which spares us all some sort of ugly power struggle between Clinton and Weiner.
"Clinton left little room for doubt: she was not interested in seeking the mayoralty, people briefed on the call said" http://t.co/2SkqZALX

Here’s a better suggestion:
Since it is quite a challenge to agree on the next Sec. of State, may I suggest ex-NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani?
