Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison of Texas and Sen. Jon Kyl of Arizona have announced they’ll hold a news conference tomorrow on immigration reform. Those passing along the news can’t help but mention that both Hutchison and Kyl are on their way out the door after having decided not to run for reelection in 2012.

We suppose neither senator is concerned at this point about winning fans on the Right or the Left.

How about we just enforce the laws we have already?

Amnesty might destroy the Republican Party forever. Two things will happen if they agree to amnesty. They’re going to alienate their base and independents who absolutely do not want amnesty. Plus, they’re going to increase the Democratic Party’s voters. It’s a lose/lose for Republicans.

YOU’RE NOT GOING TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF HISPANICS VOTING FOR REPUBLICANS BY PASSING AMNESTY!!!! Idiots. Hispanics are “free stuff” voters. They’re not “Republicans in waiting” as Rove and Krauthammer try to make them out to be.Hispanics will NEVER cast their vote based on gay marriage or abortion. They cast their vote with their wallet. They want free stuff. Hispanics aren’t going to vote Republican any more than blacks will ever vote Republican.

After Reagan gave amnesty to illegals in 1986, the percentage of Hispanics that voted Republican in the next election DECREASED by 7%. DECREASED!!!! The same Republican idiots that lost the election are the same idiots trying to right the Republican ship. Newsflash: THEY DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY’RE TALKING ABOUT!!!
    NO AMNESTY!!!!!!!

Stop worring about votes and start inforcing laws that are already on the books.
