In what must have been the greatest meeting of minds in the “Tonight Show” green room since Newt Gingrich spent time there with Snooki of MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” NBC’s David Gregory chatted with Lindsay Lohan about politics and foreign policy.

No, that’s what he does Sunday mornings on “Meet the Press.”

To be honest, we are curious if Lohan followed through with her plan to vote for Mitt Romney. In a campaign season where Hollywood actresses seemed concerned only with taxpayer-funded contraception and lady parts, Lohan cited unemployment as the top issue on the table.

It must have been refreshing for Gregory to talk to someone on his level.

    • Scott

      Nah, she was teaching him!

This coming from one of those who looks down his nose at those ignorant, racist tea party rubes.

  • Brent Guthrie

The discussion on domestic and foreign policy must have been PROFOUND! Beware John Jay, James Madison and Alexander Hamilton! Your Federalist Papers are now OBSOLETE!

    • Brent Guthrie

OOPS! I neglected to mention Lindsey’s riveting discourse on the Constitution of the United States of America.

  • Jennifer

I’m shocked she was sober enough to have a political conversation myself.

  • Rulz

If she’s in Hollywood and saying she supports Mitt, it seems to me she knows more about politics than maybe half the country does.

    • Noddy Theelf

No, she ignores reality with drugs, republicans ignore it with stupidity.

      • Teresa Davis McCormick

you said “stupidity” !! You sir are a racist now.

      • Rulz

Conservative = reality. Liberalism = lies, deceit & made-up rights.

    • Angie (D)

She changed her mind to Obama a day or two after she got the attention she wanted for saying she was considering Mitt.

  • disqus_Uwifk500mc

Well, hey, if you want an informed opinion about the Fed’s quantitative easing policy then Lindsay is your girl.

  • itsatax

Today’s MSM talks policy with Lohan, but they talk Lohan with the president. Must be why Obama ran his campaign through the entertainment media.

  • HalleysFifth

I don’t care what some moron thinks about politics or foreign policy – or what Lindsay Lohan thinks either. (See what I did there?)

  • Julie the Jarhead

I suppose that she is as knowledgeable as anyone in Washington DC. I’d listen to her before I’d listen to the WH or the Senate.
