The Washington Times is reporting that a federal judge Friday blocked the Obamacare mandate that would require a Christian publishing company to offer health insurance that covers contraceptives:

Judge Reggie B. Walton said the Obama administration’s contraceptive coverage mandate puts companies such as Illinois-based Tyndale House Publishers in an “untenable position” — either violate their beliefs, or face major penalties for failing to comply.

Tyndale House Publishers Inc., a Christian publishing company, said it objects to several types of contraceptives the Health and Human Services Department requires be covered.

Fans of Obamacare aren’t pleased to learn that the fight over contraceptive coverage, which somehow became central to the presidential campaign in its final weeks, isn’t quite over yet.

Why do women think they should have free contraception? Seriously though. Is there anything this generation can purchase on their own? Here’s an idea…GET A JOB AND BUY YOUR OWN! Or better yet… DON’T SPREAD YOUR LEGS!

I am a woman btw, so don’t backlash your trollish crap!

    • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

Lexi, since you don’t think like the lefties, you aren’t a “real” woman to them. Women’s rights are only for those on the Democrat Plantation.

    • TwitWit

I’m with you, Lexikin. I don’t understand when or where this “free birth control is a Right ” garbage came from.

      • Lexikin

Me neither! I was raised to work for my own everything. Forgive me if I am a bit too old school, but I would be embarrassed to go into a store and purchase birth control to prevent pregnancy! When I was younger I had menstrual problems that required birth control for some time, but that was it!

Where does this generation of women get their information? Do they really think its healthy to alter the natural menstrual cycle anyway? Sorry to say, but unless it is absolutely necessary, there is no reason to alter your body’s natural course. If you can mess around, then deal with the consequences! I am not going to be paying for these women’s birth control and then pay for their abortion “cause they forgot to take the pill”. PFFFT!

      • GaryTheBrave

Let me try this again. I don’t understand why the left thinks a “right” is something that is paid for by others. If that’s the case then I want the government to pay for my guns. On second thought, my guns would then be subject to government low-bid rules. Never mind.

    • orringtonmom (D)

have you notice, also, that they don’t say “free”… they say “access” which to them implies free. no one is denying access to birth control. last i checked it is legal to purchase, use and distribute contraceptives anywhere. every drugstore i’ve patronized has a “family planning” aisle in plain view.

by using the word access instead of free, they are trying to portray those who don’t want to pay for other’s contraception as being against it altogether.

they should know that we are 100% in favor of them NOT procreating. holy hannah, please don’t let them reproduce…

      • http://www.cosmicgirl.net/ Cosmic Girl

My thoughts exactly. To me, liberals using birth control is a form of natural selection.

    • RblDiver

What I don’t get is, if the woman is so empowered these days, why doesn’t she get her lover to pony up the cash?

    • Gallatin

Or if you don’t like the stand that religious employers are taking, go work somewhere else, Papa John’s maybe.

    • v1cious

God, once again showing your ignorance of contraception. And you wonder why you lost women.

      • AMERICAN Kafir™(KAdams)

She’s couldn’t lose them, moron, she is a woman. Which is more than I can say for you, so why don’t you just shut the fck up about women’s issues?

Oh, I get it. You’re afraid that your ED meds won’t be covered, if conservative women win on this issue.

        • Grumpa Grumpus

          @KAdams:

That’s always been a burr under my saddle blanket, too!

Why should anyone pay for somebody else’s ED meds?

Oh, I know hiw it happened! The Donkey’s didn’t want to pay $10-a-pop-for-a-pop— so they made sure somebody else would be hauling the freight for their playing around.

If the cost shifting hadn’t occurred, having some rich DumperCrats by the testicles might have provided incentive to reform the mismanaged, corrupt and senseless FDA drug approval process— saving billions of dollars and decades of time for a drug to get approval.

If I have to “keep out” of someone’s bloomers I darn well better not have to pay for said bloomers!

And, frankly, I don’t care how often some screeching harpy calls me sexist. I’m 96yrs old and I’ll be as sexist as I want!

Look! Look at how much women’s safety has improved since those women who couldn’t cut the mustard working behind the scenes to wrap men around their fingers started throwing “Neanderthal” and “sexist” out during every tantrum!

So let them all cross their arms, stomp their size 22 foot, threaten to hold their breath ’til they turn blue and carelessly accuse everything insight if “sexism”— including the better behaved family dog!

Both “racist/racism” and “sexist/sexism” have been the boy who cried wolf. I don’t believe in it any longer it’s a myth. Never happened. And that’s the argument I’ll counter their made-up “history” of Patriarchy with!

Let’s see how the shoe works on their undainty foot!

Employees still pay a portion of their employer-provided healthcare, do they not? So it’s not, in fact, “free.”

  • Kimberly O’Neal

My, oh my how irate they become, and what trashy mouths they have. Here’s an idea, why not get these trash mouths something like maybe a hysterectomy and save the country from any future off spring they should have, Lord only knows how they would be raised!

Please pay for your own contraception.

  • http://twitter.com/JJaboHaskins Jennifer JaboHaskins

Pay for your own birth control, abortions, and sterilization. Not sexist. Acutally empowers women.

  • carla5731

There is no logical reason that birth control should be a government mandated insurance benefit. There are birth control options to fit every budget; and people who are having sex should be encouraged to take personal responsibility for it, rather than making the public chip in against their will.

  • http://profile.yahoo.com/YN4XMUN6BACEJMKRO2OJISINKE LC

It’s not about contraception being available, it’s just don’t make them pay for it because of their faith. I guess libs just can’t find their ass in the dark on understanding that one.

    • lalavz

Don’t you just love when they say “Stay out of my vag*na U stupid person”. I laugh because they don’t get the point that I’m trying to stay out if it and so is our wallet.

Why is free contraception a right – yet a copay for my daughters asthma medication is ok? Or, better put – why is contraception more crucial to health than say asthma medicine, or insulin or other drugs? And, where does it stop? Should those drugs ultimately be free as well? Who will develop free drugs in the future? Why don’t these pinkos get it?

    • ML

I agree. My asthma medicine is $200 a month, even though I have never had an attack, yet I’m supposed to pay for others’ irresponsibility? If you don’t want to get pregnant, don’t have sex. Or better yet, go to any convienance store and you can find your cheap birth control.

  • Carrieann

Pay for your own birth control. I don’t ask you to pay for my LV fetish; do I?! Now, you may say “But they are two different things!” But, no my dears they are not; both are personal choices that others should not be expected to shell out hard earned money.

It stands to reason that Liberals who are Secular Progressives and sacrifice millions of their own children to their religion are an obvious failed species hurrying to extinction. Their continued dwindling influence has now caused tremendous loss in voting numbers, and a terrified emotional demand that others who do not engage in killing their innocent children adopt their blood lust to make things “Fair”

  • Garth Haycock

It is perplexing how liberals just don’t get it. The free exercise clause of the 1st Amendment clearly protects individuals from the intrusion of the government in their religious beliefs. That anyone would think that this is about preventing women from getting contraception is an imbecile.

  • goldwater89

it’s only a matter of time before the left-wing starts calling the judge an Uncle Tom. Just wait…

  • Kimberly Schutzenhofer

First, does the mandate pay for condoms the guys buy?? Isn’t that sexism if they don’t? Secondly, I’m 50 and my whole life I haven’t been sitting here waiting for my free abortion. NOBODY is saying you can’t have one – we just don’t want to pay for it.

  • http://www.cosmicgirl.net/ Cosmic Girl

So, liberal women want to be strong, independent women…except when it calls for actually being independent. Stoooopid!!!

If certain religions don’t have to even HAVE insurance because having it is a denial of faith, or whatever, then they have to change it for ALL religions. They’re the ones screaming for “fair”….

  • AMERICAN Kafir™(KAdams)

Not to mention, I’m sure that all those progressive liberal wimminz that work for Christian publishing companies can find other jobs at another company that offers better benefits. That’s usually how it works…

  • Maria Seeger

Today’s young women are stupid. They don’t seem to understand that the only people who benefited from the sexual revolution are *men* because now, thanks to birth control and abortion, a man can walk away from a relationship and feel perfectly free to move from one woman to the next, because after all…it was just recreational sex and it don’t mean nothin’…
And young women can’t seem to get it through their thick little heads that spreading their legs for a man doesn’t make them a woman. And really, if you’re working for a values based organization like a church or a Christian publishing house, you’ve no business spreading your legs anyway, woman…let alone forcing the organization pay for the birth control that lets your boyfriend off the hook, so convenient for him, don’tcha know. And women wonder why they can’t stay in a decent long-term relationship for very long.
