Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid just keeps on extending that hand of friendship across the aisle, doesn’t he? Now that he no longer has to entertain the “laughable fantasy” of working with a President Romney, he’s again urging House Republicans to drop their “severely conservative agenda” and move forward with him in perfect harmony.

And when you need something quickly, who better to ask than Reid and his colleagues? We’re closing in on 1,300 days without a budget, so how long can fairness take to legislate?

Translation: Republican surrender their principles and bend over for Democrats.

    • digitalPimple

The principles of doing what you’re elected to do. Harry has been avoiding doing his job for years now but I guess this kind of thing doesn’t get as much attention.

    • Slam1263

I’d like to remind everyone that the Great Recession ended June 2009.
      But where are the jobs?
      Where are the old jobs?
      Where are the new jobs?

      • $2942628

So long as Mr. Obama get’s to keep his job. You don’t get to get a job.

  • Rafael Eduardo Peña-Rios Riber

and he blamed romney of flip-floping?

  • soJa

  • louisiana_mom

Cooperation and compromise to the Destructivist Party means the Right gives the Left everything they want, expect nothing in return, and take the full blame when the stinky stuff hits the fan. Well, they can take their idea of compromise and shove it where the sun doesn’t shine!

  • FreedomRecon

Wasn’t he the one that said just a few days before the election that if Romney is president, he will do everything in his power to block him?

    • Gryphon

yes, no compromise was on the table from Dingy Harry for a President Romney.

  • Steve_J

“Americans need more jobs, economic certainty, opportunity & fairness. It is within our power as a Congress to quickly address these needs”
Everything he said there is at odds with everything he and Obama want to do.

  • nc

The Hairy Reed isn’t fooling anyone.

  • my preciousss!!

‘Join us in cooperation and compromise”, said the spider to the fly.

  • FreedomRecon

If we “compromise” and allow their “mandate” won’t that make us liberals instead of conservatives?

  • carla5731

As a sign of good faith, Harry Reid should give up all of his money first and agree to live on a salary of $45,000/year.

    • TugboatPhil

He has enough from shady land deals in Nevada to decline all Senatorial salary.

  • stuckinIL4now

If Harry Reidiculous really takes it seriously that Americans need “economic certainty” and Congress should “quickly” address their needs, then why has he obstructed Congress from passing a budget for 1,294 days or 3 yrs, 6mos, 15 days? And “fairness”? Really? His vocal chords should snap when he says the word. Who but the low-life bottom-feeding Obamuhbots could believe anything this jerkwagon says?

    • TugboatPhil

That’s also why the Executive branch is churning out about 70-80 new regulations a day throughout all areas of government.

  • Lei Stinson

Block him and give him his medicine back…

Entitlement reform first and then will talk.

My tweet reply to Reid: “@SenatorReid @michellemalkin Let’s increase revenue with offshore drilling royalties – will you cooperate to open areas or do you obstruct?”

Please GOP give him everything he desires and vote present. Let them own it.

  • patrick lynch

So basically what you’re saying is if the Republicans in Congress don’t do what you want you are going to hold all of America hostage by hold up getting us back to work!!Gotcha, somebody there needs to kick that man’s bony ass! What a douche

  • AlertUpUSA

Is Hairy offering an analgesic salve with that cooperation and compromise? Perhaps a somatic amnesia induction to help with the memory hangover?

  • Peyton

Tick of harry reid, sign and share the petition for a true fair tax.

  • digitalPimple

can someone say “Punch Drunk” much?

  • Glenn Mayton

First tell us all you know about signing a healthcare bill without reading it, not prosicuting new black panthers, fast and furious , and what happened in Benghazi. Then maybe we can talk.

  • Steven

    Show us your taxes first!

  • Just Another Guy

Cold, dead hands comes to mind as a response.

He doesn’t mean compromise…he means capitulation.

  • Joe W.

Hey Harry: Fuck You!! Sorry, folks, it’s the only appropriate thing I can think of to tell him and the only language he can relate to.

    • Hildabeast-Weiner2016

No apologies needed, Joe. Many Americans feel the same. Cheers!

      • Joe W.

Hi Dave! Buddy sends his regards…;-)

        • Hildabeast-Weiner2016

Hope you are well, my friend. In a year, it will be a crime to criticize odipshit and the rest if his liberal excrement ilk.

          • Joe W.

Not in the New Republic of Texas, Dave…..We do not recognize Bronco Bamma as anything other than the common criminal that he is.

          • Hildabeast-Weiner2016

In that case, I might be knocking on your door in a few months!!

          • Joe W.

I got 3.5 acres, Dave….Y’all can set up a double wide and live the country life as an ex-patriot Amerikan. We still believe in “Texan Exceptionalism”, Dave…

  • walterc

In other words, just give us whatever we ask for, and don’t bother asking for anything conservative (or even sensible).

  • r_coplin2001

Does Harry Reid want the Republicans to compromise and raise tax rates so he can have more Cowboy Poetry Reading in his home state of Nevada i say to Harry Reid no thank you as Americans are taxed enough.

  • walterc

As stated by Jeff Bingham (played by Patrick Wharburton) in Rules of engagement. “when we got married she said she wanted a cat. I said I didn’t want a cat, so we compromised and got a cat.”

That’s Harry’s idea of compromise. The republicans compromise and the dems get a cat.
