New details emerged Friday night regarding an attack on Camp Leatherneck in Afghanistan which killed two Marines.
A spokesman for the International Security Assistance Force’s Joint Command said that the attacks were well coordinated and did significant damage to the base, destroying several aircraft and damaging buildings and an aircraft hangar. The attackers were organized into three teams and were described by the ISAF as “well equipped, trained and rehearsed.”
