Tired of reading the boring talking points from President Obama’s twitter account? Well then, check out conservative Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s Twitter feed! There, you’ll see what happens when heads of government are allowed to tweet for themselves.
Today, Harper treated us to a picture of his pet chinchilla, Charlie, “getting into the Thanksgiving spirit.”
However, we should point out that Canadian Thanksgiving is in October, and even then they don’t use Pilgrim imagery. Hence, Canadian tweeters were a bit puzzled by the sudden appearance of the fuzzy creature celebrating American Thanksgiving a week late.
