MSNBC hosts can often be spotted calling out “science deniers,” but if they’re going to be taken seriously they’ll have to stop being temperature conversion deniers:

The tweet has been deleted, and so far they haven’t blamed climate change for the mistake:
So these dummies just plugged the temperature of 2.7C into a converter instead of figuring out the equivalent units in Farenheit.

Here is the tweet @MSNBC deleted earlier today. They aren't good at math pic.twitter.com/u7ZqgbTaYo

What @MSNBC? By 2.7C or 37F? pic.twitter.com/8Ou1CDSrOM

#SCIENCE.
@MSNBC An increase of 2.7ºC does not equate to an increase of 37ºF. It's actually closer to 4.86ºF. Multiply by 1.8, don't convert C to F.

Don’t dare lecture the “smarter than us” progressive geniuses at MSNBC!
How do those kinds of errors happen?
This explains everything. https://t.co/NqygRI6Nxy https://t.co/vuKVU5DKSL
