It’s possible NBC sportscaster Bob Costas will have his one good eye on other things — like noted peacemaker Vladimir Putin — but you just know he’ll be itching to weigh in on this costume worn by pairs figure skater Simon Shnapir.
This figure skating team is on the ice to the Bond theme song and his outfit is complete with a shoulder holster. Awesome. Seriously.—

Why is he wearing a gun holster? Um … because the routine had a James Bond theme. Here are a few pics from the official U.S. Figure Skating Twitter account.
Oh USA figure skating dude. A gun holster? I mean I get the music is James Bond. Wooo Guns 'Merika. Just wear a tuxedo or something bro—

I do think the US pairs figure skating's routine using Skyfall is cool. But I do not like that the male skater is wearing a gun holster.—

Shnapir and his pairs partner, Marissa Castelli, skated to music from “Skyfall” when they earned the pairs title at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in January. And yes, he was wearing one of those oh-so-horrifying holsters.
