A BBC Newsnight interview of comedian Russell Brand went viral this week, with viewers split over Brand’s call for a socialist egalitarian system to replace the current political order. The Left was certainly excited, with the Huffington Post declaring that “Russell Brand’s Epic Interview With BBC’s Jeremy Paxman Just Might Start A Revolution” and Gawker writing that “Russell Brand May Have Started a Revolution Last Night.”
Brand’s call for massive taxation of corporations and redistribution of wealth was a hit with actress Jenna Elfman and other celebs.
Conservatives, however, weren’t so warm on the idea of “revolution.” Brand admitted he doesn’t vote, so how exactly is that revolution going to happen?
Greg Gutfeld and the rest of Fox News’ “The Five” debated the wisdom of Brand and his “plan.”
