Laura Ingraham announces: Our 8 year relationship has come to an end [pic]

Wow, does that thing also play 8-Track tapes?

It’s always sad when a relationship comes to an end, but another is waiting just around the corner:

Ingraham is getting plenty of advice from Twitter users on which device she should switch to, but so far hasn’t identified the new love.

It really doesn’t matter what she gets-the NSA will read everything on it before she does!

    • fivebyfive

They’ll also know what she’s going to write before she does

We still say…2 cans, long strings, corona type writer…if persons desire ‘party line’ (network), pass out saved cans (otherwise you’d use for target practice) and balls of string to friends, relatives…

Well, considering she included the hastag #Samsung, I’m willing to be she’s getting a Galaxy.

I just ordered me a Htc one.. Should be here tuesday. I am Excited..
My old phone is not even android or nothing. Plain ole flip up phone.

    • thetreyman

i was going to upgrade to one but i would have to have a new contract. i dont feel like giving up my unlimited data plan so i will wait till my thunderbolt crashes then pay full price for a new phone so as to not have another contract and lose the data plan.

  • Rocket Surgeon

I’m probably not in a position to offer advice. I pay $60/year for my cell phone. So you can guess just how “smart” my phone is. Still, it’s better than when I was young, carrying around that cage full of carrier pigeons (and yes, I’m sure they were not pterodactyls!) …

    • TugboatPhil

It’s just been within the last few years that I stopped calling my cell phone “the car phone.” That happened about the time I stopped leaving it in the car (actually the truck) overnight.

    • nc

Ha Ha, I got you beat. I pay even less than that. I have one of those pay as you go phones and I use it to make calls, and then only when I absolutely have to. And that’s it. I tell people don’t text me, I won’t text back.

      • plumberskid

I’ll do you one better….I’m on my kid’s family plan:)

  • TugboatPhil

Huh? I still have my 8 track player set up in the garage. Been hearing about these new “CDs”. Not sure if I’m ready to make that move yet.

    • Michael Hardy

It’s just as well TugboatPhil… CD’s are probably just a fad

    • thetreyman

no one buys cd’s anymore either. it’s all mp3 now.

      • Jeremy

I haven’t bought a cd in years either.

    • Apostic

8 track? You kids and your technology. I’ll keep my wax cylinders, thank you very much.

Cassettes are the wave of the future. No more klunks when the track changes.

      • Turd Burglestein

Reel-to-reel is the wave of the future. No more searching for a pencil to wind up half-eaten tapes.

  • Zach Smith

    I think #samsung is a clue.

  • Attila

I still have a small LG flip phone. I guess i”m not a hispster like Laura.

  • Zathras11 @B5

    She should switch carriers first.

    • Jeremy

I have Tmobile and no issues with them.

  • LegalizeShemp

Does she still have Windows 95 on her laptop?

    • Doc Farmer

      Oooooh, BURN!!!

  • fivebyfive

I would like to be her new “DEVICE”

  • ericdondero

I like Laura, even with her sometimes social prudishness, (me being a pro-libertine libertarian.) But am I the only one out there who is baffled about her sexuality? She’s this staunch social conservative, yet remains defiantly un-married. And with two kids to boot.

Why do conservatives avoid this question? Your libertarian buddies remain baffled by Laura.

    • Unicorns and Rainbows

I won’t avoid it. Ask me anything you want about her sexuality and I promise to answer you.

      • ericdondero

Okay, here’s my theory. Tell me if I’m on the right track here.

Being a libertarian as I am, and a hardcore rightwing libertarian, I’ve met a lot of gay conservatives in my life. Gay conservatives naturally feel comfortable around us libertarians.

I’ve noticed that some of them are abstinate gays. They refrain from sex altogether.

That’s my theory on Laura. She’s one of those homosexuals that are completely asexual. You gotta admit, a handsome women, but she’s got a tinge of butch to her.

And I also remember from her early days on radio, that her brother in Connecticut is gay.

Is she an asexual lesbian? (Not that it matters at all. Good for her if she is. But she shouldn’t be ashamed of it.)

Galaxy Laura. Best. Phone. Ever. With Swype keyboard. Just as fast as BB.

Socrates’ observation, that recognizing our own ignorance is the beginning of wisdom, helps us keep in mind that we are ignorant regarding most of our complex modern civilization.
