‘HAHAHAHA!’ Lapdogs run cover, call devastating Obamacare effect a ‘quirk’ [pic]

Oh, lapdogs! Obama-cheerleading journos are at it again! Forced to pay a lot more for insurance due to Obamacare? That’s totally just a “quirk” and stuff.

And it isn’t the first time they used that euphemism:

Shameless and shameful.

The headline at CNBC now reads “penalty,” but “quirk” remains in the text, in the slug and in search results:

obamacare-quirk

This Twitter user calls it what it really is, however:

Truth.

You can keep your plan … if you can afford it. But, hey. Quirks!

Obama “quirk” kill 4 in Benghazi. Obama “quirk” allows thousands of guns to flow into Mexico. Obama “quirk” allow IRS to target anyone. Obama Administration is one giant “quirk”.

    • TexasMom2012

Personally I just don’t think you can describe Obamacare without using the word cluster. Still think we should get a waiver if we want since Congress and all their staffs got one. They wrote it and we suffer for it.

You forgot the “quirk” called the NSA listening to our cell phones.

  • AaronHarrisinAlaska

A quirk is an unforeseen, curious, and often times unexplainable sudden variable. Often seen as an accident.

Opponents have been calling this ‘quirk’ out since the pages of Obamacare first went public. This isn’t a quirk.

    • nc

      A quirk is a one-off. This is a 300-million-off.

    • sb36695

True. It’s part of a plan for single payer.

  • AaronHarrisinAlaska

Been calling it out for awhile now. If not paying the Obamacare fine can land you in jail we’re gonna see a lot of poor people thrown in the clink. Can’t afford coverage, can’t afford the fine.

    • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

C’mon now. You know there will be a waiver for them. Well, as long as they vote Democrat anyway.

    • Odie1941

Hmmm, so that’s why the DOJ is cleaning out prisons for drug offenders.

I think you are onto something here.

    • Billie Slash

I had a feeling that debtors’ prisons were going to make a comeback. King George III would be proud.

Another “quirk” is liking your doctor and keeping your doctor. That will only happen if your doctor is still around, still accepts patients and you have the cash to afford care.

Nice try lapprogs. It would be a quirk if it had NOT BEEN POINTED OUT since this abomination was forced on us by democrats!

I am reminded of that Robin Williams routine in which he talks about “side effects”. One particular product lists, among other things, “may cause anal leakage”. Williams loudly calls that “an effect!”

    • TexasMom2012

I have seen Foxworthy do that bit as well. Describing “New Floor a Floor” side effects such as itchy watery eyes, anal seepage, lower resale value on your home… goes on for a long time. It is funny when comics make fun of side effects, less funny when our government forces you to take the nasty Obamacare pill and forces the side effects on you. Like higher costs.

But if Bush had pushed something onto us as bad as Obamacare and it was having the negative affect that Obamacare is having, it’d be called more than a quirk by the liberal media. They’d call it Doomsday and say that the world is ending. But since this is Obama’s baby, the damage it’s doing is “just a quirk.”

Obamacare hasn’t realized that it screwed itself yet. They need 20 somethings to sign up for the government exchanges, yet they let people stay on their parents insurance until they are 26.

WTH are you talking about? Are you actually trying to blame this abortion on the GOP? Unbelievable. No “real” Republican wants this to even go through. And now when it’s out that it’s not what you libs so blindly and willingly believed it to be…you’re trying to say it’s because of the GOP? Jeebus you people are dense.

Wow, you are so full of it that it’s amazing. “It’s the GOP’s fault” ain’t gonna fly next year since every member of the GOP opposed this bill and it was passed along strictly partisan lines. Interestingly enough, it was the Democrats (who wrote and passed the bill) that insisted Obamacare would be the most awesome thing ever as is, going as far as to say insurance costs would go down for everyone. Funny how Pelosi no longer remembers that she said that, but we do because we have YouTube. But then, we did have to pass to find out what’s in it, didn’t we? Gee, who said that?

But then, perhaps you mean the GOP amendment that tried to put members of Congress on the bill to make it fair for everyone? Oh right, Democrats whined to Obama and got themselves an exemption… again!
