Perfect! Darrell Issa lists all the reasons not to oppose Obamacare [pic]

I wrote down all the reasons not to #StopObamacare. Here's what I came up with.

A photo posted by Darrell Issa (@darrellissa) on

Excellent, and unfortunately way too accurate.

That was an impressive list, compared to some others anyway:

Someone will be along soon to give us the weekly code word for racism. It will probably have something to do with Issa using a whiteboard. (BTW, they would also come along if he used a blackboard)

    • Elaine

You can say WHITEBOARD, you just can’t say BROWNBAG. Get it?

Karl Rove uses whiteboards. That’s Raaaaacist!

How long before Obama realises he’s living in a White house? Will he order it painted, or just move out? (We can hope, can’t we?)

That board is white… and that makes his opposition racist!

    • tops116

Oddly enough, white Congressional Democrats exempting themselves (and effectively opposing what Sebelius called “the next Civil Rights movement”) is somehow not racist.

  • LegalizeShemp

It’s also the list of Democrats who will take credit for the disaster that ensues after it’s implemented.

At least that document isn’t heavily redacted.

    • DutyFirst

Actually, it is very heavily redacted with a bucket of ‘white’ liquid paper

  • tops116

Maybe we should ask Congressional Democrats for the reasons not to oppose Obamacare. Oh right, they’re all busy waiting in line for their exemption paperwork.

    • tiorbinist

Well, that’s a clue: they _should_ be waiting in line for their unemployment check.

    • MyrmidoNOT

supported by the robust economy of Detroit… 😉

    • Lou

It is incredible that so many libs like Goofy Ghoulsbee appear on Hannity and similar shows and make total fools of themselves simply because their lies and myths are challenged with facts.

  • LivingLiberally

I can think of 65 million reasons – The 65 million plus Americans who voted for our President and Obamacare. Not that Republicans give a damn about them. Who cares what the American people think, the Koch brothers know what’s really best for America.

    • QueenB

It’ll be the best thing EVAH!!!! Which is exactly why the libs gave waivers to all their friends, and made themselves and their staffers exempt from the law.

    • gmonsen

As long as 65-70% of the citizens oppose Obamacare, it’ll be hard for it to survive longer term. And, the citizens did not “necessarily” vote for Obamacare in re-electing Obama, which, while it cannot be proven, is strongly suggested by the current polling on the issue.

      • tiorbinist

Well, the Rasmussen poll has shown Obama’s approval rating running 45%-47% for months… since shortly after the re-election. So it isn’t necessarily proof of anything that the small voter turnout and large liberal election fraud got the big O back in office. If it were Romney in there, with a 75% majority vote in the last election, ‘LivingLiberally’ would be whining like a beaten dog about how that’s no mandate…

        • LivingLiberally

Rasmussen has no credibility at this point after predicting a Romney win. But don’t worry about the facts, keep on digging you head farther into the sand. Elections have consequences. You guys choose the Iraq War when you won, we choose to give healthcare to millions of Americans. You guys have made your bed, now lie in it.

          • OLLPOH ~ America

            Were you born into Government?

          • tiorbinist

I see you are as memory-chellanged as you claim Rasmussen is credibility challenged.
It’s nothing to get too worried about, really. Most liberals have conveniently forgotten the Democrat Senators and Congressmen who were all-in-favor of Iraq and Afghanistan and forgotten the Republicans who questioned things like the Patriot Act and TARP.

The idea that ‘we’ chose the Iraq War when we won (I assume you’re talking about one of Bush’s elections, but it’s hard to guess which one: there was no Iraq War to be had when he was elected to his first term, and it had been there for 2+ years when he won reelection) is kind of amazing. Bush didn’t campaign on going into Iran _or_ Afghanistan. You conveniently forget that, while Obama _did_ campaign on ending the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, he only kinda did the former. How’s that voting for the Afghanistan war twice when you “won” working for you? Closing Gitmo? Healing the Economy? Free cell phones? Chicken in every pot? “We aren’t going to have to pay our mortgage anymore?”

Oddly, the sand has more liberal bodies hovering over it than conservative. How about the crime rate? Like the increases? How about the racial polarization? Enjoying how ‘your’ win has affected that?

It’s way too easy to build a case against your claims. You don’t even make it hard.
You ‘chose’ health care? Ha. What we got was a 1000+ page bill written in less than a week by Harry Reid’s staff, voted in with Chicago-mob-tactics and technical flimflammery and a promise from ‘your’ Nancy Pelosi that we’d love it…when we found out what is in it.
And yet, ‘your’ administration can’t seem to get it going. First, waivers to every Democrat special interest and supporter. Then an attempt to get it through by _not_ including Senate and Congressional members and their staffs. Then, a change to force it on them too (against their will)… then Obama ensuring that they’ll get 76% of it paid by their ’employer’, rather than having to suffer the indignities of the exchanges and caps and subsidies.
And yet, what is the difference between a 76% subsidy for someone earning below the poverty line paid for by tax payer’s money and 76% subsidy by their employer, the same government, paid for by the same tax payer’s money? Only that the government workers get to skip having to explain how they get paid 3x the 400% limit but still get the subsidy. Oddly, everyone else in the US who makes that much is expected to foot the entire bill.
Yeah, you ‘chose’ healthcare. You can’t even make that claim, since the healthcare you ‘chose’ didn’t exist when you voted for it, and still doesn’t. It won’t in 2014 when it was supposed to be fully implemented, and may not be by 2015 when the 1-year-extensions all run out, because ‘your’ choice has discovered that he can just flourish his pen and make laws stop happening.
That _should_ bother you. If for no other reason than the next president, or the one after that, may not be a Democrat, or even a liberal like Bush. Where are you going to hide if a real ‘conservative fascist’ gets into office and decides that eradicating liberals is OK? He’s got the legal preident now, and Obama’s private army all ready to go.
You’re the one with the bed to lie in. And it has sharp bits.

          • Lou

You have spent 13 years with you head buried in the sand and the FACTS won’t help you but here they are anyway.

” In October 2002 the House passed Joint Resolution 114 to authorize the President to use military force in Iraq by more than a two-thirds majority — 266 to 133. The Senate passed the resolution 77-23.
Both Senators John Kerry and John Edwards voted for Resolution HJ 114 which puts Congress on record as approving President Bush’s actions. It specifically states that the action was necessary primarily because “Iraq has demonstrated its capability and willingness to use weapons of mass destruction against other nations… “. Renew America 8-2004

            Quotes from DEMOCRATS about WMD

“One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line. ” President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998 Quoted on CNN

“If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We must seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction program.” — President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998 Quoted on CNN

“We urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the US Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq’s refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs.” — Letter to President Clinton, signed by Sens. Carl Levin (D-MI), Tom Daschle (D-SD), John Kerry (D — MA), and others Oct. 9, 1998

“There is no doubt that Saddam Hussein has invigorated his weapons programs. Reports indicate that biological, chemical and nuclear programs continue apace and may be back to pre-Gulf War status. In addition, Saddam continues to redefine delivery systems and is doubtless using the cover of a licit missile program to develop longer-range missiles that will threaten the United States and our allies.” — Letter to President Bush, Signed by Sen Bob Graham (D, FL,) and others, December 5, 2001

“We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction.” — Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002 Congressional record

            There are many, many, more.

” If as the Democrats now claim, President Bush was lying about Saddam Hussein having weapons of mass destruction, 77% of the Senate, including those running for president, were also lying. In fact, it was a Democrat, Senator Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut that introduced the amendment listing the “findings” of weapons of mass destruction as justification for the resolution. ” Renew America 8-2004

I know that you, being a liberal, have little regard for the truth in any matter that does not suit your agenda but the facts are what they are and you will just have to deal with them.

    • OLLPOH ~ America

It is an illegal piece of legislation.

It was illegally re-written by the Supreme Court.
It has been illegally re-written by Obama and HHS and other members of his Executive Branch.
It has not been executed by the President which is his oath to the Constitution.

      Illegal:
      1. forbidden by law or statute.

      2. contrary to or forbidden by official rules, regulations, etc.:

      • LivingLiberally

Again, facts aren’t your friend. The Conservative Supreme Court with 5 justices appointed by Republican Presidents found Obamacare to be completely legal and Constitutional. The continue to argue otherwise is nothing short of delusion.

        • fedupMan

Let me remind you that the supreme court ruled that photo ID to vote IS LEGAL. I think it was a IN case. Why do libs still fight it tooth and nail?
