We see what you did there: Gov. Bobby Jindal joins Instagram with ‘pretty good shot’ [pic]

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal took the Instagram plunge yesterday with a “pretty good shot.”

My wife is a pretty good shot #firstinstagrampost

We see what you did there, Gov. Jindal.

Truth! Any Instagram photo that sends even one lib falling onto the fainting couch is pretty good shot.

God bless America!

  • John Howard

It’s refreshing to find a politician who tweets pix of things other than his own naked body.

    • http://baldilocks-talking.blogspot.com/ Juliette Akinyi Ochieng

Not that Governor Jindal would be inclined to do such a thing, but the photo tells us that he might be afraid to! 😉

      • Tom Chipp

I think that would be respect.

  • BeautifulAmerica

I guess he doesn’t want his wife to fear being robbed, beaten, etc. Yay, Bobby!

  • SutureSelf

That appears to be a Beretta 686 or 687 O/U shotgun. Either Mrs. Jindal is shooting at a clay target that is out of frame or she is shooting at the patterning board on the left. Unlike in President Obama’s famous “We shoot skeet all the time” photo, this was not just a photo op.

    • Suzyqpie

It’s a competitive field, but the 0bama-skeet-shooting photo is a strong contender in the Phoniest Presidential Event Competition.

      • grais

Looked like Obama was shooting the skeet thrower.
        Yeah…”all the time.” Sure.

  • The Penguin

Shooting for fun and sport? No way… I’m sure she was practicing for her late night profiling and hunting down of an innocent young black child. THIS IS SARCASM!!!!(This is for the obtuse “asshats” that refuse to read the comments after this statement so as to realize I was only implying what an idiot Lefty would say) Carry on then…

    • TocksNedlog

Nah. She just wants to be ready for when the
Vice-President comes knocking on her door.

    • Tom Chipp

You make such a stupid accusation, show some stones and make some charges. At least the moron that went after Palin filed the papers to make it real. He wasn’t some race baiter trying to make other people do the dirty work.

      • The Penguin

WTF are you talking about? It was sarcasm… Did you not read the comments after?

    • allenbarr

maybe penquin you should get in her way and find out.

      • The Penguin

Uh yeah…sarcasm allenbar. If you’ve seen any of my comments you would know I’m about as conservative and a believer in the second amendment as they come. But even still, that was a little much pal.

      • The Penguin

        pen”q”in…okay I’ll let it go…you’re obviously drunk.

    • pamdix

Oh, grow up! Innocent my ass!

      • The Penguin

Again…was being sarcastic. Read ALL of the comments. It was a f*cking joke….K already?

  • CatHerder

Well, the license plates do say “Sportsman’s Paradise,” or used to anyway.

    • bod ach beag

still do, unless you get the vanity plates

  • TocksNedlog

Charles “Little Green Footballs” Johnson better not shake his head too hard — his brain might slip out from one of his ear holes.

    • Joe W.

That guy is an insufferable boor. Belligerent, stupid, and vile.

    • Finrod Felagund

Too late, already happened years ago.

    • SDN

      Wrong hole.

    • Spiny Norman

Did Captain Queeg ever catch the Dominionists who were stealing his mail?

      • http://ikokujin.blogspot.com/ Photios

SN, it is good to see you again. I too still go back and look, like visiting a former home and finding a burning train wreck. I don’t understand what happened to him, but his explanations are not satisfactory. He used to be creative and interesting. Now he is just DNC/Media Matters talking points and is quoting Media Matters directly.

        • Spiny Norman

          Good to see ya, man!

Train wreck, indeed. It sure got ugly, and apparently got even worse after I left. I never really understood his argument with Creationists, or at least the intensity of it, which seemed to be a major tipping point. As an agnostic who grew up with believers, I generally avoid the topic altogether. I’m not going to convince them, and they aren’t going to convert me.

I have to wonder, did he hook up with some leftist hippy chick and do the “Tom Hanks” political transformation?

    • Ruy Diaz

He has a brain? I’m confused by the claim.

  • Ruy Diaz

Ah, one of them meek Indian wives I see. *Grin*

  • bod ach beag

I thnk Bobby’s wife is a good shot. and it’s Great for La. image. Now we just need to get rid of Mary Landrieu and her anti-gun ilk

  • ElbethL

Romantic double-entendre, too. Very sweet, Gov. Jindal!

  • bo1921

Good for the Jindals. Her aim looks a little high, though. Practice, practice.

    • Seraphbleu

I don’t think she was aiming. I think she had already shot and that was the reaction afterwards where your arm goes up from the force of the shot. Good Photo!

    • DelPasso

That was my first thought exactly. Her aim does look a little off.

  • Michael Hampton

Why doesn’t he do what Perry did and tout his lax regulations for companies and tell them they can blow up his state and all of the people in it with no consequences if they just sign on to make a product there?

  • $17227379

Another reason to love my state and my Govna.

  • Finrod Felagund

Bobby Jindal should get his wife together with Nikki Haley, South Carolina governor:

  • alvin691

    Nevermind. Stoopid me

  • NCRelite

    don’t piss her off!

  • AZWarrior

Did you read the idiot posts there that accused Jindal of bing “tribal”? Incredible the stupidity of people.

  • BurkeanMama

No wonder most Republican men are faithful to their wives.

  • T.O.

    LOL Go Bobby!

  • John

What’s she aiming at, the trees?

  • pamdix

Nice to see that Mrs. Jindal is right in step with Louisianians! Sportsman’s Paradise!
    Proud of the Jindals!

  • Trudy Hill

wait.. didn’t someone make bullseyes illegal due to racisim?

  • Benjamin Dover

Those who preach from collectivism’s altar tend to claim that private property is the source of human discontent because they believe it empowers certain people against others.
