Lynch mob thugs threaten Zimmerman jury; ‘N*ggas coming for that bitch ass jury’

Revolting. As Twitchy reported, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White tweeted that the Zimmerman jury should “kill themselves.” The Twitter lynch mob was out in cretinous force with death threats against George Zimmerman.

Other thugs are taking Roddy White’s repugnant tweet an evil step further: They are now threatening the jury members that found Zimmerman not guilty. And their sons.

https://twitter.com/illytre25/status/356259607565447169

Vigilantes were searching for Zimmerman’s address again during jury deliberations. Now bloodthirsty sickos are trying to get the addresses of members of the jury. Why? So they can “get it just as bad.”

https://twitter.com/queenemkay_/status/356239675431723008

Horrifying. While some may be tweeting as some sort of sick “joke,” all threats should be taken seriously. We must also once again note Twitter rules:

Violence and Threats: You may not publish or post direct, specific threats of violence against others.

Obvious the violence is the major issue with these tweets, but the mind numbing illiteracy is also frightening. This is a growing culture that continues to sink lower.

        • Diogenes

I don’t know how Obama came up. Court verdicts will always polarize people; the same applies to election results. There’s no social contract obliging people to respect the outcome. Plenty of upset self proclaimed conservatives vented on election night, including racist and/or violent voices.

          • James W.

how many of those were death threats though?
the remark of it being obama supporters is because over 95 percent of blacks voted for obama, and it seems that in these tweets, most everyone seems to be black. I THINK that is the connection the person is trying to make

          • Stevon f. Nutt

If you made even a hint of a death threat against Obama you would be in jail!
Unfortunately we have Eric Holder and no charges will ever come against those who threaten the rule of law. they are the Obama base!

          • Centurian2010

Probably because of obama’s interjection of himself into the situation with his racially inflamatory remarks from the outset.

What a shame they are trapped in a catch 22, and don’t know how to get out. Education should be universal, not a “White” thing.

        • Legal__Immigrant

Education is considered very important by some groups of people. Other groups, not so important. Look at the drop out rate among different ethnic groups. Then look at the ethnic groups that value education. You look to the parents. If they don’t give a rip, most of the kids won’t either. That’s life in the big city.

    • Chad Russell

Rachel Jeantile is the POSTER CHILD of these animals. “That’s retarded, sir,” “I can’t read cursive.” If these thugs have anybody to blame for Zimmerman’s freedom, it would be the prosecution because they couldn’t prove their case; the terrible state witnesses because they would’t lie for the state (however, Rachel did lie on the stand, twice!); and, obviously, Angela Corey because she was the one who brought the charges.

I hope that Twitchy reports every tweet that comes with a threat.

    • TOXIC_LAND

Treyvon would be alive today were it not for the high tolerance to crime in the black community. Solving your problems via violence will most likely cause your own demise. If this community could but teach their children that violence is bad everything would change for them

I believe that a good percentage of blacks are racist to some degree.
It’s just ignored by the media and Politically Correct crowd.

      • mike_in_kosovo

Actually, there was a Rasmussen poll about that just a couple weeks ago.

Among black Americans, 31% think most blacks are racist, while 24%
consider most whites racist and 15% view most Hispanics that way.

Among white adults, 10% think most white Americans are racist; 38%

    • Damien Johnson

The jury does have one black woman, though these tweets are still scary.

Where is the judicial system with death threats against Zimmerman and jury. Oh I forgot, the jury is white and it is OK.

  • Connie Alsip

Pathetic. If this is how the black community deals with a verdict, if these threats are real, if these punks manage to hurt anyone? Death penalty. Pure and simple.

  • demoivre

Martin Luther King would be rolling in his grave if he knew that this is the modern day black culture.

    • Diogenes

Black culture isn’t summed by a few ignorant crazies on Twitter. It ignores the black voices calling for prayer, peace, and an end to the matter. That includes the Martin family; I didn’t see an angry reaction from them.

      • aliswell

Unfortunately, I don’t believe they’re done with Zimmerman, yet. Now comes the civil suit.

        • bonnieblue2A

The Obama-Holder Dept. of Just-us has kept the civil rights case against Zimmerman open and it is being reported the NAACP is calling for them to prosecute.

The Florida “stand your ground” law does not allow for civil suits when the individual is found innocent of criminal conduct.

          • aliswell

Aahh, good to know. However, that would also explain the sudden flurry of “This still isn’t a Stand Your Ground issue” articles appearing around the web, AND why libs are shrieking they intend to target the Stand Your Ground law to have it pulled.

            They’ll fail.

      • demoivre

I praise those who call for peace, but unfortunately the general reaction in ghettos and black communities is not this one. I should have phrased it better but I was actually referring to the general gangsta rap/thug/drive-by shooting culture that has torn the black communities and families apart.

    • stannmc59

      Agreed!

    • bonnieblue2A

True enough. The lynching rhetoric has now come full circle and his message is lost on those who promote and use these threats in the name of false “social justice”.

Lady Justice has a blindfold for a reason; but, this administration and DOJ doesn’t see it that way. Revenge for past atrocities is the name of the game as they seek to divide this country further.

  • Mary

If the above comments were against the Twitter rules then why are they being allowed to continue? Shut them down.

    • bonnieblue2A

Did it escape your attention that Twitter was instrumental in fomenting the Arab Spring in Egypt? Twitter is a tool for the NWO. They only pursue those who oppose their agenda. Same for all the major social media.

  • Connie Alsip

And they wonder why Chicago is so bad. Martial law? I don’t think so.

  • aimeedee

I sure hope someone is forwarding these tweets to the DOJ. This is scary.

  • RedSoloCup

These wimpy cowards aren’t going to do anything, heck they are the very same ones that pee their Underoos and hide under the bed (and behind mommy) when confronted. It’s easy to sound 10 feet tall and bulletproof from behind the safety of your Obamaphone.

Typical racist morons. They can’t dispute the verdict logically, since they are all as dumb as a bag of hammers. All shining examples of the shallow end of the gene pool. If you took the F-bomb away from them, they wouldn’t be able to talk.

  • hawkins455054

low life blacks, don’t get their way, time to riot, threaten to kill all involved, from behind the keyboard, how can they find the trigger to do the job, look at the way they shoot the gun, Gansta style, hint for you, it was side ways in the box for shipping only, that’s not the way it is to be used, now if it was a black shooting a black, they would say its okay beside “he is dissing im”, and how can they find the jury even if they have the address, they are most likely to far away from the welfare office for them, I bet they would go into with drawl symptoms to far from the ebt machine, so settle down and do what you do the best, rape, riot and burn your own area, good excuse to get your new flat screen or the new Air Jordan shoes

  • Voice of reason

Surely the NSA has the info on those threatening death and Holders DOJ is now
    Preparing charges.

  • ObamaFail

All of these punks need to be rounded up and locked up.

    • GsGirl

It’s too bad we can’t just send a link to this page with all these horrid tweets directly to Twitter, and have them lock out/cancel the accounts of all these thugs. If a kid can get arrested for threatening (even as a joke) on Facebook, then why can’t Twitter get their act together and get serious about these threats? I hope they never make the information regarding the jurors public. Just doing your civic duty, being a lawyer, and being married to someone who has been accused of a crime can get you threatened, and possibly severely injured!

      • KnowYourRightsFool

Report these threats to twitter, and they will close these accounts.

        • leisureal-

          You really believe that?

          • wildmN

twitter should cancel their accts, they are doing nothing but spreading hatred.

Those darn blacks. Always kidding around.

  • waterytart

I think they’d all better hope nothing happens to any one of those women.

  • $3919854

Such lovely, charming people, tweeting in between their tokes on crack & snackin’ on their skittles, sippin’ their lean, all bought with their EBT cards. What a world.

  • koko27

Wow…I guess the prosecution made the mistake of assuming the same white women who got Obama elected would be on the jury, and they would fry George Zimmerman. Turns out they have bigger balls than Holder and Obama.

  • $3919854

There are far more decent black people out there than you seem to think. These people are simply losers, leeches, stupid, uneducated savages. No reason to besmirch almost the entire black community because of these groups of human vermin.

  • Diogenes

Flagged! I question the logic of someone who accused others of not embracing freedom, but in the same breath praises the actions of a domestic terrorist organization, the klan. You sound just as ugly as the people tweeting death threats.

    • Calcat36

It is offensive for that fool to believe that he speaks for me with his hate.

    • http://politicallyincorrectcanadian.blogspot.ca/ Reverend Ken

Wasn’t the KKK started by democrats?

      • Calcat36

        Yes. April 20, 1871:Republican
Congress enacts the Ku Klux Klan Act, outlawing Democratic
Party-affiliated terrorist groups which oppressed African-Americans. But this doesn’t matter- the liberal schools have come up with the southern strategy lie, which they teach that all the kkk members became dixi-CRATS and took over the republican party, except they cannot name one racist democrat that became a republican other than Strom Thurmond, after giving them that answer! Who repented, unlike Robert KKK Byrd. And LBJ made a racist statement about the black vote in America and got a pass.

  • Noah

when read these tweets from the brain trust saying things like “fuck the jury, kill them” i shake my head with great sadness and fury. “Idiocracy” was very prescient. Sadly, the movie just got the timeline wrong.

Perpetuate their livelihoods they must much!

Morally bankrupt and thoroughly repugnant, America’s Professional Race Hustlers, whose very livelihoods and ongoing existence are literally sustained by the big money business of Race Hustling — therefor a ‘post-Racial America’ cannot ever be permitted to actually manifest in reality because it would put the purveyors of big business professional Race Hustling into the po’ house and evict millions of sheople off of the Democrat Plantation — have got it sooo darn easy these days.

The Race Pimps will absolutely milk this for all it’s worth — then they shall certainly contrive something new and exciting.

  • LinTaylor

So, in the minds of these people, if the jurors were murdered and their killer got off scott-free, that would be karma.

Hrm, I’m not sure whether I want to use Inigo Montoya’s “You keep using that word”, or Homer Simpson’s mini-speech about karma. Either way, fail.

  • Conniption Fitz

Guess everyone will see how serious Twitter and Facebook are about hate speech and threats to kill!

  • Squirrel!

    Wow…. just wow!
The jury members’ names should never be publicized. One of the tweets up there said something about someone knowing the jury’s address….. yeah, because they all live together at one address. And where does the Atlanta Falcons stand on their wide receiver inserting himself?
There is such a lack of common sense demonstrated in these tweets about this case.

    • Calcat36

The addresses could be “leaked” to advance the race hustler’s agenda.

      • Squirrel!

I realize that, and the jury members’ names can be made public eventually. My comment was directed toward the one who tweeted as though the jury has a singular address. Maybe that was only due to a lack of grammatical skills, though.

  • losar1

Let it go…you win…this continues to prove that we will all only be criminals and thugs to you. Thugs that need to be watched…followed…and if all else fails…put down like dogs. Silly of me to think after all these years you all just might see us as equal. Well I’m off to the store…hope I make it back before someone decides to “check my papers”.

    • Calcat36

You mean there is something wrong with documenting thugs who are threatening to commit a crime of murder?

      • losar1

Funny…I’ve committed no crime…made no threat…harmed no person…but all I have to do is ask a man why he was following me. And I am allowed to die. Like I said…regardless of what I do or who I am…I will always be a thug…to be followed…to be watched….And eventually… To be put down.

        • Calcat36

Nothing like a little self-pity and victim hood, right? Keep yourself out of Chicago or Detroit and you will be just fine. Stop assuming that non-blacks have no issues with the police. We get to show our papers too yet it goes UNREPORTED.

        • Nobody

He wasn’t referring to you losar, he was referring to the other people that was making the threats. In a sense, we’re all thugs, some more so than others. In all honesty, I’m just tired of it all from both sides. Very much anticipating the time I get put down..The only fortunate ones are the dead for they have no sorrows or burdens to carry..

        • Damien Johnson

Whether you were on Trayvon’s or Zimmerman’s side, the fact is the prosecution failed to do their jobs. They could not prove that Zimmerman did not have probable cause to shoot Trayvon. To them, Trayvon attacking Zimmerman warranted any return response from Zimmerman, regardless if Zimmerman was needlessly following Trayvon (which he was).

          • Calcat36

“Zimmerman was needlessly following Trayvon (which he was).” Were you there? You and I did not see what the jury did as evidence so we cannot say that for sure. The whole point of a neighborhood watch is to follow persons unknown to the gated community.

          • Damien Johnson

It’s just my personal opinion that he should never have left the truck. But if he was going back to the truck, then Trayvon attacked him thus making Trayvon the instigator.

          • Calcat36

Damien, I have seen your posts and agree with almost all. We cannot allow ourselves to get spun up over evidence we did not see. Keep in mind, that the AG just fired her IT guy Friday for whistle blowing that the AG hid evidence from discovery to taint the outcome of the trial. Thanks for taking my comment as it was meant. We just don’t know that yet.

        • Condor30303

If you “ask” with fists that might be true. TM couldn’t recognize the difference between rap video and real life and that short coming cost him.

          • Bathing Suit Area

Zimmerman couldn’t tell the difference between a Charles Bronson movie and real life, and that shortcoming cost Trayvon.

          • Corey Dennison

No…Trayvon’s little temper and ego is what cost him. Do keep up.

          • Condor30303

A very good comparison. GZ was Bronson, and TM was the criminal scum. It fits!

Incorrect. Don’t give up your day job for the position at Dionne Warwick’s Psychic Friend Network, because you suck at it.

I give the same credence to Zimmerman’s testimony as I do to Jenteal’s.

    • Calcat36

You mean there is something wrong with documenting thugs who are threatening to commit a crime of murder?

    • The Penguin

You have to admit the tweets above don’t help the case for racial love and harmony between different races. It’s not a representation of how all blacks feel I’m sure. Just as GZ, (although I believe he is Hispanic too), can’t be looked at as a representation of the white community as a whole. That would be forming an opinion of an entire group based on one individuals actions. And you did say “you all”. Stereotyping? The jurors were looking at the charges and the evidence presented by both the State and the defense, and one of those jurors being black as well. They didn’t see enough evidence to convict. Whether you, or I, or anyone, agrees or disagrees with the finding, how does that outcome say “we all” don’t acknowledge your God given right of equality?

      • losar1

You all meaning the people on this site.

        • The Penguin

You mean all of the ones casting dispersions against blacks in general? Most are addressing, as am I, the people throwing out the threats. Again, no matter how big or small the group, lumping them all together and forming an opinion on said group is the problem. It’s not just a black thing.

        • Calcat36

Meaning you, and your ignorant observation. “Let it go…you win…this continues to prove that we will all only be criminals and thugs to you.” Who won what? And by typing “you” who are you referring to? I see you have your broad brush out painting everyone you disagree with with your perceived oppression. 72 shot in Chicago over independence day. Where is YOUR outrage? Where have I seen your comments condemning the New Orlean’s day parade shooter? Black shooter, shot 19 black victims. “You all” calling for his death, and the death of his family? Do you condemn the attacks of white people on their porches by gangs of black thugs for “Treyvon?”

    • Rena

@losar1:disqus The interesting thing I see about this is that it isn’t about race. Zimmerman doesn’t even claim to be white but Hispanic but none of that seems to get into anyone’s heads. They only see a white man getting away with murder. Yes Zimmerman in my opinion profiled Trayvon, but in my opinion not based on race but on his demeanor and what he wore. He was playing profiler cop and it got out of control as to who initiated the actual violence is only left up to ones view of the evidence. “The Penguin” makes a good point that by what all these tweets, the riots in Oakland and the NBPP are saying doesn’t help the case. I agree its not representative of all Blacks just as the majority whites are not racists. But its these ones who mark us to the extreme low because of their loud voices and violence. The one bad apple spoiling the whole bunch so to speak.

      • Condor30303

Puuleeese, explain profiling and how it is criminal. Do you mean that GZ knew there were a string of crimes in his neighborhood committed by young black males, including a home invasion of a neighbor and a theft from his front porch, and he dared to think a black male roaming the area after dark might be suspect? How dare he, maybe he should have only been suspicious of older white women. Profiling based on facts is also called logical behavior.

        • Rena

Might want to get off your high horse and taste a bit of reality. Zimmerman in my opinion clearly profiled Trayvon because of what he was wearing, I didn’t say it had to do with race as you assume but based on what he assumed to be a criminal as per his “training” as a neighborhood watch person.

          • http://politicallyincorrectcanadian.blogspot.ca/ Reverend Ken

The jury (thank GOD) has the only opinion that counts.

          • Rena

true, so why then do we need all these social media outlets to let us speak our mind or discuss the outcome of the trials and other events? Perhaps because we too would like our voices be heard that some things need to be changed so that this tragedy never happens again to any person wearing a hoodie.

          • The Penguin

True… Question. Educate. Participate in meaningful dialogue…what a concept. Keep asking questions Rena.

          • Noah

“never happens again to a person wearing a hoodie”?!?!
so, you think that trayvon was shot because he was wearing a hoodie?! exactly what law do you think should be enacted to prevent a hoodie wearing person from suckerpunching a fat white hispanic?
please dont ever breed, you are too fucking stupid to be entrusted with the care of even a goldfish.

          • Condor30303

You did not answer my question. Please define profiling, explain how it is criminal, and how, when based on facts and history, it isn’t the logical thing to do. TM fit the profile of the people who were committing crimes in the area, so GZ watched him. Is your argument that in an area where young black males (wearing dark clothes and hoodies) were known to be committing crimes, everyone should have been looking for elderly white women? If anyone is on a high horse it is someone who abandons logical thing for emotional urges. I think you, in fact, could use a dose of reality.

          • Rena

It is profiling because Zimmerman drew conclusions as per his “training” as a neighborhood watchman. He said on the phone with the police that “there is a guy here acting suspicious” and felt he was “up to no good” determined by the fact of what he was black and was unknown to Zimmerman. He was wearing a hoodie which most people seen as “thugs” or “punks” are visualized or portrayed as in the media, and the fact that Zimmerman made it clear to the police there were other crimes by blacks in that area prior to this event. Seems pretty clear it was profiling to me on the part of Zimmerman. And which by the definition given on dictionary.com defines…

            pro·fil·ing [proh-fahy-ling] noun
            1. the use of personal characteristics or behavior patterns to make generalizations about a person, as in gender profiling .
            2. the use of these characteristics to determine whether a person may be engaged in illegal activity, as in racial profiling .

It is what it is.. he profiled Trayvon as a criminal because of his race and what he was wearing. What else can you conclude from this? What is profiling to you if this isn’t the case? Just because a young black male is wearing a hoodie doesn’t make him criminal. But because Zimmerman saw he “fit” those characteristics that he presumed were that of a criminal or someone suspicious and up to no good he “profiled” him.

          • Condor30303

You dance and you dance, but you don’t answer the question. Why is profiling criminal, and why is it illogical to look for people to match the characteristics of those known to be committing crimes? So what if he profiled him? If you cross the street to avoid obvious dirtbags, pass by a gas station full of outlaw motorcyclists, or decline to hire the meth head for babysitting you are not only profiling, you are making intelligent decisions. You must work for the TSA deciding on who to search for potential bombs; let’s see do we search the young middle eastern looking man named Mohammad, or the old white woman in the wheel chair from Wisconsin? Ping! Of course the old white woman, at least we didn’t prooooooooofile.

          • Rena

I have not danced around the answer but you keep changing the stakes to what you want in a reply. It is only criminal if the person isn’t doing anything illegal and you are basing it on the persons attire/race such as Zimmerman did in my opinion and the end results in the death of an innocent young man. He was not an angel by all means but as to this particular incident, (he cannot be judged due to prior incidents since Zimmerman had no idea who this kid was and had any prior knowledge of his “criminal activity”), Trayvon wasn’t committing a crime or doing anything suspicious as per Zimmerman’s claim.

If I worked for the TSA which I dont, but lets play your game.. I would search everyone, because I dont trust anyone…

Seems like you want to paint me as some sort of “self loathing liberal” as someone else claimed earlier on another thread, but I can assure you I am not. But I dont have to answer to you or anyone else where my political/social lines are drawn. But I can post my opinions about this case whether Im a conservative, extreme right winger or tree hugging liberal. I can have opinions that do not follow the “norm” in any group because I can be open minded enough to think “outside the box” and for myself.

          • mike_in_kosovo

It is only criminal if the person isn’t doing anything illegal and you are basing it on the persons attire/race such as Zimmerman did in my opinion and the end results in the death of an innocent young man.

Profiling based on attire/race due to crimes in the vicinity *isn’t* illegal, however much you want to make it so. Suspicious activity is suspicious activity.

Now, all you need to do is show that Zimmerman shot Martin because he was wearing a hoodie or looking into houses. Of course, if Zimmerman was going to do *that*, there was hardly any reason to *continue* to watch him for several more minutes, he could have just shot him down right there.

Martin was shot because (and only because) he attacked Zimmerman with deadly force. You keep going on about how Zimmerman should have talked to Martin…had *Martin* talked to Zimmerman instead of attacking him, none of this would have happened.

          • Rena

really need to stop trying to put words into my mouth… I wasn’t implying that at all sweetie… but keep trying

          • mike_in_kosovo

We have NUMEROUS examples of you claiming that wearing a hoodie isn’t illegal, and we have NUMEROUS examples of you claiming that Zimmerman should have talked to Trayvon to defuse the situation.

You’re doing just fine at putting the words in your own mouth, ‘sweetie’.

          • Rena

Calm down bucko.. nothing to get your panties all in a wad about. I have never claimed that he shot him because of what he was wearing or that he was black. And I stand by my words that Zimmerman didnt do all he could to defuse the situation. I said that there is always the possibility that Zimmerman isn’t telling the whole truth as to what really happened because NONE OF US where there and no one else living there saw what led up to the altercation. I have never changed my opinion on that but others want to “add” to what I said… now go calm down before you bust a vein :)

          • mike_in_kosovo

I have never claimed that he shot him because of what he was wearing or that he was black.

I didn’t claim you had. You *have*, however, attempted to claim that Zimmerman illegally profiled Martin due to same, which is unsupported by evidence.

Or rather, unsupported by evidence that *you* agree with.

now go calm down before you bust a vein :)

I’m perfectly calm. Again, don’t give up that day job for the new opening over at the Psychic Friends network.

          • Rena

Awe trying to be witty…. but thats ok sweetie…

I said it is my opinion by what I heard on the 911 calls to the police that Zimmerman describes Trayvon as someone suspicious and up to no good. What did he base that assumption on? By a profile that the police gave him when they trained him for the neighborhood watch program. There are certain characteristics to look out for when patrolling the area and to Zimmerman Trayvon fit that profile.

          • mike_in_kosovo

            Awe trying to be witty….

And succeeding…as opposed to your attempts at snark…

            “but thats ok sweetie…”

I said it is my opinion by what I heard on the 911 calls to the police that Zimmerman describes Trayvon as someone suspicious and up to no good.

Yes, and claimed it was illegal if it resulted in death….implying that Zimmerman shot Martin for that reason.

What did he base that assumption on? By a profile that the police gave him when they trained him for the neighborhood watch program.

            Got a cite for that?

There are certain characteristics to look out for when patrolling the area and to Zimmerman Trayvon fit that profile.

So, now you’re claiming Zimmerman was correct to “profile” Martin?

I never claimed to have watched every minute or even every day. Of course, I’m not claiming things that aren’t in evidence, unlike *some* “armchair experts”.

    • bonnieblue2A

Race-baiting failed! White doctors only? What about Kermit Gosnell? Do you seriously think he was the only black OB-GYN performing abortions?

Put the hate away and read the LAW pertaining to self-defense in Florida instead of injecting emotion into your reaction to the verdict. The state failed to make its case and the jurors followed the letter of the law with their verdict.

      • Damien Johnson

That wasn’t the POINT I was making with that particular post. I KNOW about Gosnell. You assumed I don’t. There WAS no race-baiting.

    • bonnieblue2A

The media runs with the WH talking points. The whole Zimmerman trial was a result of pressure placed on the state of Florida to further this administration’s agenda to racially divide this country.

Pay attention to what has NOT been reported while this media circus has had the Zimmerman trial in the center ring spotlight. These statist propaganda techniques are over 70 yrs. old. Look back to Goebbles and the propaganda machines that dominated pre-WWII Europe and America alike.

An undereducated and historically illiterate population always devolves to the lowest common denominator: bigotry, lawlessness and violence. For the first time in our Republic’s history we actually have a POTUS who wants and promotes this division among Americans. That is the real concern and danger.

      • Truth

“If I had a son, he’d look just like Trayvon Martin”. I wonder if Trayvon Obama would also talk like Trayvon Martin, using words like “cracka” and “nigga”.

Regardless of why these threats are being spewed is not the issue. They are in and of themselves murderous threats and are against the law. The Trayvon Martin supporters are so articulate in expressing their disappointment at the verdict. Never have I seen such an eloquent, well-spoken collection of well thought out arguments expressing a particular point of view. Three cheers, all around, for making their case so clearly and concisely and with such colorful use of the English language. It makes me proud to see such erudition and intelligence here in the comments section of this venerable online publication.

    • USPatriot

I guess grammar was not their best subject in public school before they dropped out in 7th grade.

  • Anthony Johnston

Roddy White should be fired. He is an embarrassment to the Falcons and their fans.

  • KMO

And you wonder why people think “thug”? I’m sorry! That’s right! This is exactly the way mature, non racists people talk. And if white people had said things like this about the jury that acquitted OJ, there would have been a race war. As usual, this rhetoric is drenched in hypocrisy. If George Zimmerman was black they would be celebrating.

  • Truth

“But”, these racists will tell you, “this trial was NEVER about race”.

  • neoface

Imagine if a white person wrote that about a black person, Holder and Obama would send the IRS on them.

  • neoface

I think a lot of people just need an excuse to be an asshole publicly. Just a thought.

  • leisureal-

President Obama, by his comment “If I had a son he would look like Travon Martin” set this case up-intentionally as a racist trial (WHICH IT WAS NOT, UNTIL HE AND THEN D.O.J., BY SUPPORTING MARCHES AND PROTESTS WITH MONEY AND D.O.J. MEMBERS)
WAY TO LEAD MR. OBAMA! YOUR TRANSFORMATION TO DESTRUCTION OF AMERICA AND OUR CONSTITUTION IS ON TARGET!
BY THE WAY, IT IS INTERESTING TO NOTE, THAT EVERY POST HERE IS BY BLACKS. NO PREJUDICE HERE????

  • LegalizeShemp

The irony is, these are the same people who get outraged by stereotypes of blacks as irrational, violent and unstable. So how do they counter that stereotype? By going on the Internet and posting irrational, violent and unstable threats against people they don’t even know ! That’s rational isn’t it?

    • leisureal-

Are you including vicious attacks by George Soros funded, Al Sharpton? Or is he excluded because he “SPEAKS FOR BLACKS” ?
SHARPTON SHOULD BE SUED FOR NATIONAL RACE BAITING!

  • neoface

Violence and Threats: You may not publish or post direct, specific threats of violence against others.

So why are those people still allowed to tweet?

  • LegalizeShemp

Just a week ago, liberals were boasting that “Fox News will probably complain that Zimmerman didn’t get a jury of his peers”. Now they’re threatening to kill jury members. Stay classy liberals, stay classy my friends !

    • leisureal-

not FOX NEWS, but it is exactly what was reported on M.S.N.B.C.!
      I watched it live!

  • americanlatina11

They are accustomed to screaming racism and getting their way. They got a prosecutor, they got the city to do what they wanted (fire the chief of police for doing his job) and they got a president by screaming racism…they are shocked that a jury of normal people did what they were supposed to do–just like the statues of a blind lady justice, they weighed the evidence and found it lacking, as they should have.

  • Mark James

All these racist asswipes should lose ALL public assistance for these tweets. Let them try working like the rest of America. Maybe they’ll calm down having to live in the real world.

  • Stephanie

Sad how they are upset over someone who lost their life and they only recourse is more violence??? All the ones threatening violence over a verdict that did not go their way are not the sharpest tools in the shed. How about the waitress killed by 3 black men for 89 bucks???Where is her justice????

  • neoface
  • Nutstuyu

Wow look at all the belligerent white folks sending violent tweets, oh wait…

  • Joe W.

“I remember talking just this way after the O.J. verdict.”, said no white person ever…..

  • spunky1nky

Ignorance breeds violence, and this is yet another example of uneducated, moronic fools getting graphic…if you can figure out what they’re saying, that is.

  • S Cory Collins

people don’t want people to be racist, but this is how they act… like kids who don’t get what they want… “Im gonna kill this persona nd that person….” Your mom’s must be so proud of you. #exactlytheproblem

You really think people are gonna be on your side when you act like animals like this? No, its only going to make people act and feel the way you demand they not.

  • S Cory Collins

Do these people not understand people can see this stuff? I weep for humanity.

  • Jake Midkiff

The overwhelming majority of murdered black youth in this country, is at the hands of other black youth. Just a hint for all you suddenly socially conscience liberals, if you really wanted to make a difference, you’d point your rage in the right direction. Stop thinking of how different things would be if Trayvon were white, and think of why, If Zimmerman were black, you wouldn’t give a shit. A little self-evaluation might do you all some good.

  • http://flyingdingo.com/ Rick Roberts

Reports of threats can be made to http://tips.fbi.gov

I guess grammar was not their best subject in public school before they dropped out in 7th grade. Never could tell with these tweets, #sarc.

WHERES THAT NO GOOD SCUMBAG HOLDER WHEN THESE DIRTBAGS ARE MAKING ALL THESE THREATS. HE IS AS USELESS AS OBAMA AND THEY BOTH SHOULD BE IN JAIL.

  • Smorfnimda

Wow, if your black and didn’t tweet hate last night, your an Uncle Tom I guess…… fricking nuts….

  • losar1

I knew when Casey Anthony got off how Florida law works…didn’t a woman shoot a warning shot at her husband and get twenty years? I guess in order to get away in Florida…shoot to kill.

    • mike_in_kosovo

      Incorrect.

She broke past him to get to the garage where the gun was. Instead of *STAYING* there, she returned to where he was. At that point, SHE became the aggressor and, as such, had no claim to self-defense under SYG because *she* instigated the use of force.

Additionally, since she fired a warning shot, the State can claim that she was not, in fact, in fear of death or grave injury, which also negates a straight claim of self-defense.

“Reasonable man theory”…learn it, read the laws…make *informed* statements rather than repeating whatever soundbite you last saw/heard on tv.

      • losar1

You just admitted that because she didn’t shoot to kill she “wasn’t in danger” meaning my point stands. Attacked or not…shoot to kill.

        • mike_in_kosovo

No, your point doesn’t stand. It’s nonsensical and disproven by ANY conviction in a shooting case.

You’re attempting an emotional plea by inferring that Zimmerman wasn’t justified in shooting Martin.

      • Rena

Not taking her side in this case, but have you ever been a victim of domestic abuse? I have seen it over and over where I am doing my internship and in some of these cases these women feel they have no other choice. Their mindset is not the same as others who have not been victims. She knew what was going to happen and she didnt want to get beat again. Not to mention, this case she fired a warning shot which did not hit him.

        • mike_in_kosovo

Not taking her side in this case, but have you ever been a victim of domestic abuse?

As a matter of fact, I have. My ex-wife was both physically and emotionally abusive.

these women feel they have no other choice.

She was in a place of relative safety (garage) and was not in danger of death or grave injury in that location. She *chose* to return to his location – a bad choice, and one that resulted in her conviction.

Not to mention, this case she fired a warning shot which did not hit him.

You think that’s a *defense*? It’s *WHY* why she was charged and convicted. Re-read the last sentence of my post and take it to heart. Learn about the laws before you opine on them, you’ll look much less foolish. these women feel they have no other choice.

          • Rena

True she was “relativity” safe where she was, but that doesn’t change her mindset. Any person who lives or lived in a domestic violent relationship has a completely different view of situations. Just raising their voice puts them in fear of their life and they react differently than someone who has never been abused. I read your post and the last part, but we need to start thinking about what these women (and men as well) go through. She could have killed him but didnt which by many showed much restraint as many abusers have been killed or attacked even while sleeping such as the Bobbitt case a few years ago.

          • mike_in_kosovo

True she was “relativity” safe where she was, but that doesn’t change her mindset.

Immaterial in the eyes of the law. Again, you *really* need to research the “Reasonable man” standard.

          • Rena

~sigh~ I see you really can’t connect the dots that this is just a discussion about cases and perhaps you should find something else to fill your time instead of playing armchair know it all.. but I like you non the less… Im not trying to “try” the case but discuss what these women and others go through. I suggested but you seem to ignore that perhaps we need to change some of these laws because we need to look through the eyes of the victim of abuse, especially where the abuser keeps getting off.

          • mike_in_kosovo

I see you really can’t connect the dots that this is just a discussion
            about cases

Dots that exist only in your head have no bearing on the facts of law.

and perhaps you should find something else to fill your time instead of playing armchair know it all.

Far be it from me to cut in on *YOUR* gig.

I suggested but you seem to ignore that perhaps we need to change some of these laws because we need to look through the eyes of the victim of abuse, especially where the abuser keeps getting off.

And this is based on your many years of legal training and the court cases you’ve argued, right? *Certainly* you’re not arguing from the standpoint of ‘an armchair know it all’.

Holy cow! If they used their pent up energy and anger and did something positive (like addressing the high murder rate in Chicago), and took some lessons in grammar and spelling, the world we live in would be a much better place.

As for comments made by Victor Cruz and Roddy White (and other NFL players promoting violent behavior), the NFL ought to exact some sort of punishment against them…a five or ten game suspension without pay would be a good start.

While I respect one’s freedom of speech, I think the freedom ends with the promotion of violent behavior. Additionally, and this argument has been made over and over again, players in the NFL should be held to a higher standard of behavior off the field. They are getting paid a helluva lot of money to play football, and not for their social commentary.

The legal process was followed accordingly (many NFL players know this, having been through the system themselves), and justice was meted out accordingly. Yes, it’s sad a 17 year old kid is dead. Yes, it’s sad an adult had to use lethal means to protect himself. It is what it is. Get over it. Move on.

If you don’t like the way our system of laws and justice work, take a cue from Marlon Wayans and move to France, or the Moon.

Just remember, there is NO NFL in France, or on the Moon.

Hmmmm, I’m sure they are just as outraged by all the black-on-black violence that takes place daily in this country. Oh, and Ice Cube who? The brother who promotes the thug culture? Idiot rappers like Ice Cube should share in the responsibility for all the deaths and incarceration of the black youth in this country. Shameful.

  • Justthinkin54

Looks to me like the prisons are going to get a bunch of new residents. Oh wait the DOJ criminals won’t prosecute these upstanding folks cause they are just frustrated in our judicial system but then again isn’t it a crime to threaten a jury, judge or for that matter the defendant. Where are the ones we pay to uphold the law, I forgot again, they are instigating the mess or are to busy looking into how they can still come out on top by pushing federal charges. George you need to find a new country to live your life in. I wish you peace.

It seems that being a thug is more fun; but remember, being an illiterate thug gets you dead!!!

Use the common sense that god gave you and do not attempt to take the law into your own hands – YOU will clearly lose! Do the math – millions of gun owners in this country, YOU will surely come into contact with the barrel of one! Don’t give a gun owner a reason to blow you away!

If anything all of the comments I read in this article prove that the educational system in this country is a total waste of time and money, I din’t read one intelligent objection to the verdict or significant comment other than good old fashion race hate. Hey Jackson and Sharpton these are your followers. You should be proud as apparently you two taught the race baiting hate to this group that keeps you employed and in the news. Great job of keeping then all down on the plantation.

The Democrats have worked hard to maintain a sense of victims mentality in Blacks. they worked just as hard to make them dependent on government handouts to survive!
Now Obama will throw them some red meat by authorizing Eric Holder to play the race card. By now everyone should see the real contempt In which Obama holds a women’s common sense and their ability to reach a reasonable conclusion!

Let’s see: “they” want to kill Zimmerman; they want to kill his wife; then they want to kill all six jury members; and at least one of them wants to kill the judge.

Well, heck. They might as well just want to kill all of Sanford, Florida. And they expect that to be okay with the rest of the country.

Reading the names and the contents I think I can say the money spent on public education, schools lunches and, SNAP cards has been money well spent.

  • sho48

I thought there was a law against making threats against someone’s life. I guess it’s just for a selective few. After reading those low class tweets about GZ and the jurors all I can say is I feel sorry for your mothers and grandmothers. How proud they must be.
Get a dictionary. It’s obvious you have a very limited vocabulary. Who is worse..GZ or people like you? Geeeeesh!

  • Rena

Why does all the responsibility fall on Trayvon for his actions or inactions? He had every right to be where he was and was not required to “go home” and call the police. Yes young adult men, which include white kids, Hispanic and all races, not just black, do have this “invincible” or machismo attitude and think that they can handle things themselves. It shouldn’t warrant a shot to the chest and be killed. As Calcal36 stated, we were not there and privy to what conspired at the initial altercation. We only have Zimmerman’s account which very well could have been biased as he wants to save his butt from going to jail. Proof of that is his differing accounts as to why he got out of the car, why he was following Trayvon in the first place and his different claims to how Trayvon approached him.

  • Rena

Depends on your definition of taking action. Violence isn’t the answer, but people need to be held accountable for their actions. I believe Zimmerman was not held accountable for his assumptions about Trayvon and he has not learned anything from this and will happen again.

  • http://politicallyincorrectcanadian.blogspot.ca/ Reverend Ken

  • Greg B

    well put.

  • Calcat36

Let’s not forget the thread we are commenting on here. Why is anyone making excuses for the death threats of female American jurists who have seen more than we have, by simpleton thugs that cannot even make a valid point in plain English? Why do black folks, who supposedly want to stop violence of all kinds, call their brothers and sisters who seek to become educated, “acting white?” When ANY race continues to degrade its own, they have no right to criticize ANYONE else.

  • mike_in_kosovo

Why does all the responsibility fall on Trayvon for his actions or inactions?

    BECAUSE they were HIS actions/inactions.

He had every right to be where he was and was not required to “go home” and call the police.

Nobody is saying he was “required” to do that except YOU. What the rest of us are saying is that, if he was supposedly so scared of the creepy guy following him, why *DIDN’T* he do the smart thing and just go inside, where he’d be safe?

Yes young adult men, which include white kids, Hispanic and all races, not just black, do have this “invincible” or machismo attitude and think that they can handle things themselves. It shouldn’t warrant a shot to
    the chest and be killed.

When it involves putting someone ELSE in fear for their life, it absolutely should.

  • Richard Jefferies

Since when are we held guilty for assumptions there Orwell. The only two things that matter are that Trayvon leapt on Zimmerman without cause, announcing his intentions in his cell phone no less, and Zimmerman defended himself. If you you don’t want to get shot, don’t jump pounce on someone and start pummeling them, people generally take offense to that. Trayvon could have called the Police too, and announced he was being stalked. When Trayvon assaulted Zimmerman he gave up his moral high ground.

Even if Zimmerman was the most racist person in the world, he did not provoke a fight. Trayvon could have just said, “stop following me.” Instead he chose to ambush Zimmerman who was only trying to protect his neighborhood from a continual crime spree.

  • Condor30303

An assumption is always trumped by a vicious beating, which is what TM was administering to GZ.

  • Rena

And you speak for everyone? This country is made of of hundreds of millions of people of all races, the majority being white, with 72%, blacks at 12.6% and Hispanic/Latino at 16% of the population. I believe when it comes down to it, we will stand side by side against the thugs (NBPP, NOI and other black racist organizations as well as KKK, WAR, NA and white racist organizations and La Raza, Tan Klan, Brown Berets and Hispanic racist organizations) who want to keep this division alive.

  • Rena

    Calcat36

I suppose only you can bring up other discussions on here…. (“Calcat36 Damien Johnson 38 minutes ago

Zimmerman was needlessly following Trayvon (which he was).” Were you there? You and I did not seewhat the jury did as evidence so we cannot say that for sure. The whole
point of a neighborhood watch is to follow persons unknown to the gated
    community.)

Not many are making excuses for these death threats compared to those who are asking for peace. As I said earlier, these people do not speak for the majority no more than white racists speak for the majority of whites in this country. But by all accounts, Zimmerman doesn’t even claim to be white, but Hispanic.

  • Rena

@richardjefferies:disqus and you know this because you were there and saw the events unfold? You are only going by Zimmerman’s account as to what happened at the onset of the altercation as no one else saw or heard that part of the incident. And in my opinion Zimmerman is not the most honest person in this case but one who is seeking self preservation.

  • Condor30303

Richard, bear in mind who you’re talking to. This crowd believes a vicious beating is more serious from one person to another given the attitude of the beater. Hate crimes are a measure of unequal justice where the equal damages warrant unequal punishments.

  • Calcat36

You mean reply to a certain comment made, and then remind myself and others that the point isn’t who followed whom? Relax a bit. The verdict is in. The who followed whom is now pointless and none of us were there. No one said they spoke for every black in America, well, I have not. If you remember Zimmerman was DEEMED a WHITE Hispanic by the liberal media that tried to tar and feather him while riling up these thugs. The liberal media edited the 911 tapes to make him look racist. It didn’t work. I like your snarkyness though. It’s kinda cute.

  • Condor30303

whether there was a “need” or not, following someone is no crime, but knocking them down, sitting on their chests and pounding their heads on pavement is.

  • Rena

Just shows that your mentality is no better than theirs..

  • The Penguin

A little reminder that hate and racism is not prejudice. Wow!

  • Condor30303

Actually TMs girlfriend told us that is what happened.

  • Calcat36

Wait until the content of his phone that was hidden from the jury, and covered up by the AG comes to light, along with photographic evidence that was hidden from the jury. The jewelry and the burglary tools that he was in possession of, yet covered up by the school, one of the 3 he got the boot from, for being too much of an angel, you know, acting white and all. Until then maintain your bias for GZ based on false media reporting. The worst person to testify for Martin was his illiterate girlfriend, who told the truth!

  • mike_in_kosovo

And you know Zimmerman’s account is false because YOU were there and saw the events unfold?

  • Squirrel!

That’s really scary. And to think you have no choice about whether you serve or not. If you’re chosen, then you have to serve.

  • Rena

Thank you I try my best :)

    Shorter Rena: I got nothin’

  • Rena

No where do I claim I am right and no where do I state that I was there. But I too can have my opinions as to what happened and I dont believe him because his account for what went on changed at least 3 times. So in my opinion I dont find him credible but someone looking to save his own butt.

  • mike_in_kosovo

So, why is it ok for YOU to state YOUR opinion, yet you call out richardjeffries for stating his?

“changed at least 3 times” – list ’em

  • Rena

Sweetheart, I dont give 2 **** what the media says. I based my opinion on what I saw during the trial. Before the trial started I was pretty much undecided leaning to not guilty, after the trial I leaned towards guilty and I have a feeling, again this is my opinion, that the jury did too but failed to understand that he could be found guilty of manslaughter. I base that on their asking for a better definition of it. And I quite agree that the worst person to testify was his friend (not girlfriend as the media speculated). She denied she was his girlfriend.

I have never made any claims he was an angel but that from THIS INCIDENT he wasn’t carrying any “burglary tools” no any stolen items. There was no proof he was looking in any of these houses except for the words of Zimmerman who, in my opinion, wants to heighten the severity of what was going on.

  • Rena

I never said he couldnt state his opinion? I stated that I can state my opinions as well as he. He made accusations that Trayvon jumped on Zimmerman without cause. That is Zimmermans account for what happened and no one else. The girl on the phone is hardly someone that can be relied on to get to the truth as her story, like Zimmermans, changed to fit their scenario of the incident.

  • Rena

He stated that he was following Trayvon, then changed it quickly to Trayvon approaching him then to Trayvon coming out of the bushes.

  • mike_in_kosovo

He made accusations that Trayvon jumped on Zimmerman without cause.

Yes, his opinion. Just like yours that Zimmerman *MUST* have done something to provoke completely innocent of any wrongdoing Trayvon.

  • Rena

I never said he “must” have done something but suggested that he MAY have done something to provoke Trayvon’s action. And I also stated we will never know because the ONLY other person that was witness to this is dead and cant speak for himself, and the one that can has told several lies from the beginning, not to mention he has something too lose too.. his freedom.

  • mike_in_kosovo

He stated that he was following Trayvon, then changed it quickly to
Trayvon approaching him then to Trayvon coming out of the bushes.

Really? Got a time hack in the video, for this “quick change”?

” I was walking back to my truck and then when I got to right about here he yelled from behind me to the side of me he said, “Yo, you got a problem?” And I turned around and I said, “No, I don’t have a problem man.”

Nothing about following Martin, as you claim…

“Yes sir. I believe like I said I was already passed that so I didn’t see exactly where he came from but he was about where you are.”

No mention about ‘coming out of the bushes, as you claim…

You *SURE* you watched the same trial as the rest of us?

  • Rena

It was his words not the video hun… get it straight.. He started telling the investigators He followed him then quickly change what he was saying to Trayvon was approaching him…

  • mike_in_kosovo

Speaking of “getting it straight”…this was “his words”? When did he take the stand?

  • Rena

Are you OK? you seem to be seeing things 😉 Where did i say that Zimmerman testified? I said it is what he told the investigators, not the court. It was in the videos they showed during the detectives testimony…

  • mike_in_kosovo

Got links to the videos? Because the ones I saw had nothing of the sort.

*Certainly* you’re not letting your *interpretation* of the videos rise to the level of constituting evidence…given that you’re not an ‘armchair know it all’…right?

  • mike_in_kosovo

    Your numbers are wrong.

For 2010, the White dropout rate is 5.2%, Black 9.3% (per NCES)

  • WendyHurts

Maybe you should return to school. Your lack of grammar, punctuation and spelling are atrocious.

  • Legal__Immigrant

    Mr. Speed,
I don’t call black folk illiterate; I went to an all black school in D.C. and know better. There is no such thing as a Race of Dumb people……You didn’t read my comments. I said the importance of education is not as great among some ethnic groups and it’s true. The comments made to the jury should repulse you. It’s disgusting.

  • Tim in Niles

    Great!
Then you will obviously want to sign my petition to amend the Voter requirements which requires a voter to have a verified IQ of 100 Points or higher in order to vote.

  • Rena

More like I just dont want to go through the whole thing again with you as it has already been discussed at length on the other thread. If you feel the need to go over it again then by all means go back to that discussion and have at it :)

  • Ronald Green

Probably the same as Jackson and Sharpton.

  • Corey Dennison

Jeez…how many times are you going to post the same inane comment? It was stupid the first two times you posted it.

  • F. De Moraes

Sorry I don’t follow most professional sports and I did not hear about said incident. Regardless, there are ignorant, racists SOBs in all races so I would not be surprised if what you claim is true. I suspect the difference between us is that I do not believe racism is exclusive to “white folks”. If we were all honest we would all admit to being tribalists. Where as we seek out members of society that comport themselves and share the same ideals, values and principles as us. Looks play a role but nowadays, it is more first impressions that dictate our perceptions of an individual or group. Not saying it right but self preservation is a basic instinct!

  • BlackBetty1970

So I assume that since you supported Zimmerman being convicted, you also want that black man who shot the Hispanic teenager two weeks ago, to be tried and convicted as well?

Personally, I think it was self-defense like the Zimmerman case. But then, I’m consistent and I believe in the law.

  • Legal__Immigrant

I didn’t mention whites – that goes with out saying that some are racists. I didn’t say anything about gentile and civilized. Please get the “chip” off your shoulder.
I mentioned blacks and a good portion are racists . You disagree?
I guess I’m in that 38% that mike in kosovo mentions.

  • mike_in_kosovo

Maybe you should quit bringing it up in *THIS* thread, then.

  • Rena

Funny because Im not the one who brought it up here, others did and I replied to them. I already had this discussion with you so no need to redo it here… go back and read it there if you didnt get it the first time… Good night sweetheart.. its time to go… :)

  • mike_in_kosovo

So, why didn’t you mention that you’d already answered it in another thread to them, hmm?

    Time to go, indeed.

  • BlackBetty1970

    Ever been to NOLA?

  • DavidHilbert

    Knock knock.
