‘Might as well pay em’: Adam Housley slams White House and prog journos for canoodling

Fox News correspondent Adam Housley is on fi-yah lately. On Friday, he decried the racialization of the George Zimmerman trial. Then, he ripped apart the cozy love affair between the White House and progressive journalists.

As The Daily Caller reported, officials in the Obama administration “held a background briefing Friday to discuss Obamacare implementation with a handful of journalists from liberal and progressive outlets.”

Housley didn’t just slam the White House; He blasted the ethics of the so-called journalists acting “completely against everything we are taught.”

Business as usual.

Citizens thanked Housley for highlighting the problems with “JournOCare.”

All journalists should be objective. They should keep their own personal bias out of their work. If journalists reported the news in an unbiased manner, I doubt Obama ever would have become President.

    • neoface

      Ditto that!!!

    • CR

The good thing is, ratings show that not too many people watch or read cr*p written by those journobomabots anyway, and most of those who do are probably already brainwashed.

      • GaryTheBrave

        ” journobomabots”. Perfect.

        • R.C.

i cant say that 3 times, fast.

It could be the type of journalists the LIV receives his indoctrination from. Feeling they have the “real news”, or all they need to know, is all they need to continue the generated outrage over things like; republicans hate the poor, kids, women, black, browns, etc…

    • V the K

How about a return to the quaint notion of journalists simply reporting the facts; instead of crusading to change the world.

  • FreedomFighter

Where there any “journalists” invited who work for a tax exempt organization??? Just wondering.

  • Stephen L. Hall

“I could care less which party is in charge. It should not happen.” — Adam Housley

The false moral equivalence again. This is a tried and true technique of communist/socialist parties to foster propaganda and indoctrination through a complicit media and educators. This is typical and expected; just look at the history.

  • http://yourdaddy.net/ NotaLemming

    These idiots have a very short memory…. #PRISM #WireTaps #BostonBreaks #FakeEmalAccounts

    Useful Idiots broadcasting propaganda

Useful Idiots watch it or read about it thinking its actual factual news.

Look up the term : misprision

    • ObamaFail

All 3 of those definitions describe liberals and Obama exactly.

  • GaryTheBrave

The title is appropriate. “Might as well pay em” as in Obama leaving the money on the nightstand.

  • ObamaFail

Biased journalism is going to be the death of our country. Instead of reporting all of the facts, they report personal bias and help publicly demonize the opposition. Even if the opposition to their cause is the group that is trying to save our economy and trying to keep us from going through what Greece is going through, they still demonize them. Misinformed idiots make no attempt to check into what they hear on tv.
If the misinformed idiots would bother to look into things and hear all sides, they’d be able to know what’s actually going on and who is actually the problem.

    • Tyrconnell

If they were honest about it wouldn’t have the impact.

  • Tyrconnell

Chris Hartman should lay off the talking points Kool-Aid really, Cheney was looking for input on policy, he had invited the Greens (who refused the invite) as well.

    • nc

Hartman’s is the typical libbie first response when caught: Both sides do it (even when they don’t).

Note that industry and media are hardly the same anyway.

  • neoface

These journalist who went are just Obama’s whores. Shameful they don’t have journalist principles!!!!

    • 3dogs58

I like that. I think I’ll start an #ObamasWhores hashtag!

  • MTPockets

Just one more example of Obama’s idea of transparency.

    • John Thomas “Jack” Ward III

      KING FINK OBAMA is about as Transparent as a Stucco-Coated Wall of Cinderblocks! We would need Superman’s X-Ray Vision to know what’s really going on… #RightWard Jawamax 8<{D}

  • nc

What’s really scary is they’re not bothering to hide it anymore.

  • John Thomas “Jack” Ward III

    Remember the “FAIR ACT?” Or the “Fairness in Media” (“Hush Rush”) Initiative? THIS is the same thing, ON STEROIDS! #RightWard Jawamax 8<{D}

    • http://yourdaddy.net/ NotaLemming

No need to Fear. Media Matters is here! Keeping Journalist fair and unbiased for almost 20 years.

I just threw up a little bit in the back of my throat.

      • Secede

There- made you blow chunks …..

        • TexSizzle

Joke punchline: “But you don’t understand – Chunks is my dog.”

          • Secede

Thank God it wasn’t me blowing chunks then !

  • gracepmc

The “chosen” media who agree to attend off the record private meetings should be exposed by name and organization. Matt Ygelias seems to have no problem promoting and defending himself as one of the chosen.

    • http://yourdaddy.net/ NotaLemming

or posting personal contact information for those he DEEMS unworthy of being Journalist.

Keep this in mind Journos. When the revolution breaks, and it will, and when the bullets start flying, and they will. folks will remember it was not the politicians that slew America. It was the JournOlist that were complicit and or turned a blind eye because…. Agenda!

  • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

Remember when the “real journalists” were outraged that VP Cheney held “secret” meetings about energy policy with (shudder) people in the energy business?

Yeah, none of these hypocrites do either.

    • TDS

Sorry, but holding “secret” meetings with business people and holding closed door sessions with select members of the media (those known to be “loyalists” that will support your agenda without question) are two completely different things.

      • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

They are only different in the way they are covered from one administration to the next. My point was that the people who showed outrage then are the ones behind the closed doors now and have no problem with it. They were supporting the DNC in both cases.

        • TDS

I was simply pointing out that business leaders have a whole lot less access to try to push an agenda to the general public than a bunch of media folks do.
There are plenty of closed-door meetings, but when it is with those select few that can promote his agenda to the masses, THAT is quite a bit worse.

  • TocksNedlog

    Most transparently partisan press evah!

  • Guest

Yep major difference between “journalists” who used to function as the watchdogs on our society and industry reps

  • http://discus.com yourmamatoo

    They probably are paying them.
I would not put anything past this corrupt president, and his corrupt Adm.

  • Ronald Green

Yep, there is big difference between “journalists” who used to function as watchdogs on our government and society and, industry representatives discussing changes to energy policy. But But But…. Boooosh… you’d think that even the liberals would get tired of that one sooner or later.

  • Conservagrl

Silly analogy from Chris Hartman. I had no idea a code of ethics applied to the Energy Industry, but from the Society of Professional Journalists you find this:

public enlightenment is the forerunner of justice and the foundation
of democracy. The duty of the journalist is to further those ends by
seeking truth and providing a fair and comprehensive account of events
and issues. Conscientious journalists from all media and specialties
strive to serve the public with thoroughness and honesty. Professional
integrity is the cornerstone of a journalist’s credibility.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, todays Journalists don’t receive a Diploma when they graduate with their degrees, they receive kneepads with DNC printed on them.

    • NixTyranny

Agree about the stupidity of the Chris Hartman analogy. Founding Fathers saw fit to afford the press protection from the Government in Amendment One of the Constitution precisely so the press could keep a watchful eye on the Government. When did it ever occur that we needed a similar adversarial relationship between the “energy industry people” and the Government in order to protect the public’s best interest such as we need regarding the press?

    • Mickey O’Brien

Chris Hartman is desperately distracting from the issue. Big difference between a journalist’s responsibility to the public and the energy industry’s dealings with the government. The press doesn’t have an EPA-like agency regulating them. Freedom of the press is constitutionally guaranteed, and to whom much is given, much is expected.

  • Bizzaro Marx

Well this behavior works, apparently. Infuriating.

  • stillinthe60s

BO’s Ho’s can’t take money for their propaganda prose. It’s against their ethos!

  • Mike

As Hannity said journalism died in 2008….

    • TexSizzle

And it was mortally ill back as far as the FDR administration, possibly as far back as the Wilson administration.

The most transparent administration ever… thank you, Mr. Housley, for speaking the truth about this. No matter how you look at this, it is just plain WRONG. The WH is using journalists to help promote an agenda.

  • ToyZebra

Pay them? You don’t pay slaves. Obama commands and they jump. This administration was even spying on reporters. You would think that would drive them to a righteous indignation. Nope.

  • fireandreamitchell

Actually, a lot of Fox media = government spokesmen

O’Reilly on amnesty, Vanity with his RINO buddies McCain and Graham, Shemp Smith, Alan Combs, etc.
