Ouch! Rep. Steve Stockman zings Obamacare and ‘Sharknado’ in one brutal tweet

The snark-nado ain’t over yet! But now that we know “Sharknado” was a ratings flop, drawing just over 1 million viewers, maybe it’s time to move on before other politicians start tweeting about the Syfy flick?

Sigh. Too late:

Wow, just over a million viewers but still good enough to outdraw the leftisproglibturd cable failures–CNN, MSNBC!

I watched it. In its entirety. It. Was. Horrible.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes was an Academy Award winner compared to it.

I wanted to gouge my eyes out after Attack of the Killer Tomatoes! So glad I missed “SharkNado”. I salute you for enduring such hardship on our behalf. :)

      • TexSizzle

I enjoyed “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes”. It was intentionally over the top as a parody of movies such as Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds”. I guess you have to be a special kind of demented to like it.

    • Michelle

It was much more enjoyable if you watched it while also reading Twitter posts about it. Hilarious comments.

      • kawaie

I was drunk and it still sucked lol

        • Michelle

Yes, the movie sucked, which is why said watching it while also reading Twitter is what made it enjoyable.

Is that like listening to an Obama speech while following VodkaPundit Stephen Green as he drunkblogs the speech? Unbearable otherwise.

          • JeromeFJ

VodkaPundit drunkblogging O’Bozo is the only worthwhile use of O’Bozo. That is – drunk mockery.

Agree. Most of us expected the movie to be bad and were not disappointed.

The Twitter banter was fantastic and gave us a break from reality.

    • alumin

LMAO – so it will go down in theatre history next to those enduring classics: “Sharktopus” and “Crockasaurus”! Bravo! 😛

    • Medicinewoman2

What about the one with gigantic bunny rabbits?Night of The Lepus.

    • shimauma

So this one needs two robots and a guy in a jumpsuit on a satellite to review it?

Was it at least Mystery Science Theater-bad, or was it just plain bad-bad?

    • pajamakat

This movie was AWFUL. I could only watch part of it. John Heard must really be running out of acting offers.

    • Stone Bryson

As someone who has loved the made-for-TV Syfy movies, understanding that what makes these movies enjoyable is the thick cheesiness, the questionable storylines, the absolute absurdity, the (not so) special effects, the curious “acting”… Sharknado was flat-out AWESOME! And… it had one of the greatest endings in cinematic history.

Seriously.. with a name like “Sharknado” what were you expecting?

      • Julierae2332

Birth by chainsaw….what’s not to LOVE!! I agree Stone, watch it for what it is, pure cheesy and ridiculous entertainment. I watched with FB pals and we had a blast! It was cool in all of its stupidity!

  • Jill

Sharknado still beat Chris Hayes, so I suppose the producers can bask in that glory.

    • TocksNedlog

Hayes will be starring in “Limp-wrister Twister”.

  • Danny Wheeler

    ROFL! Funny and true!

  • TXChica

I caught the last half hour. It was horrendous and completely deserving of all the ridicule.

  • john j

    What about “Bearricane”

    • Jack

      piranami?

I was impressed, however, that SyFy decided to follow up Sharknado with 2 Headed Shark Attack staring Carmen Electra and Hulk Hogan’s daughter…….Didn’t watch that one though.

  • dsimmons917

As someone who loves the SyFy movies, I hated Sharknado. Turned away after the first hour it was so terrible. It didn’t come close to the greats like Ice Spiders, Bigfoot, Yeti, Mega Piranha, or, my favorite, Sharktopus.

But… But… But Obama’s phalanx of lawyers are NOT being attacked by the spiraling Sharknado hordes!

Must be due to a sense of professional courtesy.

    Who’s Steve Stockman?

  • objectivefactsmatter

    “…Sharknado…”

    A what?!

  • SkyePuppy

But Sharknado was so much better written than Obamacare.
