Gee, that viral pic of Mia Farrow and Philip Roth watching ‘Sharknado’ looks awfully familiar

The Twitterverse squeed with delight Thursday night when actress Mia Farrow joined the #Sharknado frenzy with this now-deleted tweet:

Sorry to rain on the “Sharknado” parade, but Farrow and author Philip Roth posed for that photo weeks ago, according to this June 1 tweet.

Don’t stop believin’:

Paging Slate and Gawker.

Boy, that was a heck of a dinner. A glass of water and some bread.

    • TomJB

Maybe they are on the SNAP challenge

    • TugboatPhil

It may look like that, but it was free-range, gluten-free, soy flour bread and cruelty-free, fair-trade, water.

      • CatHerder

With a side of NYC roaches, looks like.

      • jetch

“fair-trade” hahaha! I forgot how important that was to leftists!

  • TugboatPhil

I would rather watch a Michael Moore film festival than have dinner with Mia.

(just kidding, both would produce the same level of revulsion)

  • ClinkinKY

Philip Roth wrote I Married a Communist (1998).

Mia Farrow married a sexual predator.
I can understand their dinner engagement now:)

    • TocksNedlog

      Frank Sinatra denied those charges.

  • Grandma HeadInjury

LOL! The only movie Mia Farrow can be currently connected with is “Sharknado.” Watch out, “Rosemary’s Baby”, you got some real competition!

Seriously though, without Google or IMDB, can anyone name a Mia Farrow film (aside from the above mentioned) not directed by the guy she lost to her own daughter?

  • M F Scotto

She was joking… like the producers of the movie.

  • John Dalton

Seems like her son Ronan’s sense of humor.

  • Can of Soup

I don’t get to read Mia Farrow’s tweets. The pedophile enabler blocked me on Twitter.

  • Dane Gunderson

Did Mia Farrow adopt Philip Roth too?

  • CatHerder

Hard to believe anybody could go from boyish and sickly-looking to hag without ever passing through attractive.

  • FlatFoot

Mia Fallow? Mia Shallow? Mia — who?
