Snort! Favreau, Cutter say GOP ‘scared Obamacare will succeed’; Instapundit shreds with one tweet

Ha! Boy, did former Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau break out the stupid on Thursday!

Stop! Our knees are killing us, what with all the slapping and all.

Sadly, they aren’t joking. Lying liar who lies, Stephanie Cutter, agreed and hilariously tweeted, “well said.” No, for real:

Bless her precious heart. Citizens gasped for breath.

Heh. Exactly. As Mary Katharine Ham pointed out recently, President Obama is totally helping to derail the Obamacare train wreck himself.

And Instapundit Glenn Reynolds takes the win:

  • Clete Torres

    No, we’re afraid that this IS the only success that 0bamacare offers: a successful screwing-up of the American healthcare system (which, while not perfect, doesn’t need this kind of help).

    • Vennoye

      Going to get interesting, because GOP is now saying that Obamacare is a law passed by both houses of congress, signed by the President and he does NOT have the authority to postpone implementation of a part of that law. Looks like may go back to supremes!!

      • ElbethL

        Ouch. That would be quite a petard for Obama to be hoist upon.

  • Gloves Donahue, Jr.

    Hey Steff.

    If you quit boiling their pet bunnies, your boyfriends would hang around longer.

    • Zane Henry

      She will NOT be ignored, Gloves!

  • Lotte Lenya

    Of course! The GOP is soooo scared – it forced this loser administration to do a document dump the day before a major holiday on a blog.

  • Fire and Adjust!

    Obamacare succeeding? That has about as much of a chance of happening as a sky diver falling upwards after jumping out of an airplane.
    Frankly, I’m more scared of the potential for Stefanie Cutter’s skull getting so dense it collapses on itself, turns into a black hole, and consumes the planet……….

    • Clete Torres

      “Black hole?”

      • Fire and Adjust!

        Aww darn……….there goes my Nobel Peace Prize and Humanatarian of the Year awards……….

        • Clete Torres

          That’ll learn ya.

          BTW, nice tank.

          • rambler

            It is a nice tank.

          You want a Nobel Peace Prize…..create a drone hit list. That’ll get you one.

    • WisconsinPatriot

      I SAW A SPECIAL ON THAT!!!! It would be great if it was one of the spinning,flaming black holes that look so neat through the telescope. I would say the chances are better for Steph’s cranium going super-nova! O-Care Is DEAD!!!

      • Jay Stevens

        I think her cranium is empty. There’s not enough mass there to trigger a supernova.

  • midwestconservative

    Well Dang, I liked Jon Favreau too, I liked all of the Ironman Movies, and the Replacements, then he had to go ruin it by inserting his politics.

    • Finrod Felagund

      You’re in luck, they are two different people that have the same name:

      Obama speech-writing jackass:

      Filmmaker of the Iron Man movies and others:

      • Catchance

        “Obama speech-writing jackass”…Oh, snort!

      • midwestconservative

        Oh Thank God! on the other hand its pretty bad when a B list comedy actor is more famous than you, but that kind of describes all of Obama’s staff.

      • midwestconservative

        Oh Thank God! on the other hand its pretty bad when a B list comedy actor is more famous than you, but that kind of describes all of Obama’s staff.

  • docwhocuts

    the goal is fundamental transformation NOT healthcare.
    obama told you himself, personally.

  • TocksNedlog

    The thought of Obamacare being ‘successfully’ implemented should scare everyone.

    • TugboatPhil

      Exactly! “Success” of Obamacare means the destruction of America.

  • Guest

    Obama has taken control of the plane.

    He is rocking it to and fro to terrify the passengers because they are decent Americans, and he hates this about them. He wants to punish his enemies. He is nearing the target.

    Obama hears that the passengers have staged a revolt. One of them was heard saying “let’s roll.”

    The thugs at his side ask Obama, “should we do it now?”

    A certain thug says “no, they are just frightened we will succeed because the Americans are afraid of death!”

    Obama says “No! no, it is not time yet. We will wait.”

    The passengers can be heard rushing up the aisle.

    A look of hatred comes on Obama’s face. He jerks the wheel and sees the ground below him, he goes full throttle yelling a pagan incantation about his great pagan god being greater than anything else.

    That’s what’s going on with Obamacare, in case you’re wondering.

    • nc

      A few years ago this would have sounded so far-fetched. But if YOU were the president, and you knew that a large percentage of the citizens were terrified of the changes you were making, even if you believed they would be good for the country, wouldn’t you at least TRY to soothe and console them? All we get is derision, mocking and dismissal.

      Especially after all the scandals, doesn’t he owe us something? So, CS, I believe your scenario is entirely plausible.

    Which party voted on this late at night with no Republicans present?
    Which party granted waivers after it was implemented?
    Which party put its employer mandates on a years’ hold?

    Yet Republicans are to blame?!!!

    • ObamaFail

      Liberals refuse to let any blame fall on the Democrats, even if Democrats are 100% to blame for what is happening

      • nc

        Not only do they passively refuse to accept blame as you say, they go the extra mile and actively find a way to make it the Repub’s fault.

    So Cutter, we just found out we have a 21.7% premium increase coming on Aug. 1.
    So Cutter, are you going to pay our 21.7% increase cutter?
    When can we come get your money to put into our account, Cutter?
    Oh, you call that a success? Yeah successfully stealing money Cutter, that is Obama’s success story….

    The complete elimination of private ownership and individual freedom that confines everyone to a drab, mindless existence with no hope of ever gaining anything more than a daily ration and staying alive.- Communism.
    ~~~~You don’t know what you have until it is gone, and you can’t get it back, either!
      But, but, but it’s the ACA, the Affordable Care Act, not the UCA, the Unaffordable Care Act.
  • Steve_J
    Scared? It’s the administration that can’t get its s*** together to get that monstrosity up and running. And they never will.
  • TJ
    Just exactly does it would look like if it did succeed. Do they even know or will that target be fast moving and never even known if it did.
    • Stephen L. Hall
      Obamacare succeeds if, and only if, it garners them more votes.
  • jb
    I wonder what StefCut has to say about Max “train wreck” Baucus? (Oh, that’s right, Baucky babes isn’t running for re-election.)
  • NeoKong
    If by “succeed” Stef means tearing down America’s wealth and her status as a superpower, putting half of America on welfare and ignoiring any and all law Obama does not care for then YES…I am scared he may succeed.
  • ObamaFail
    We are scared Obamacare will succeed. We’re scared it will succeed at wrecking our economy, killing jobs, and making things even harder for Americans who are already struggling. Only an idiot wouldn’t be scared of Obamacare’s success. It’s success is bad for America.
  • happyscrapper
    Remember when Rush Limbaugh said, “I hope he fails.”? He got a lot of flack for that, by people who didn’t get it. Rush hoped Obama would fail in his radical agenda to redistribute our wealth, force socialized medicine down our throats, destroy our energy industry, screw up foreign policy, corrupt the very fabric of our government…and so much more. Obama is doing all that. So, he is NOT failing, He is succeeding in all of his evil plans. Worst, most corrupt President EVER!! And there doesn’t seem to be anyone able to stop him!!
    • nc
      The thing that fries my chops is we have BHO as this bumbling incompetent who can’t put two words together without his TelePrompTer. Mix in the genius of Biden, Hillary, Holder, Kerry, et al. Yet somehow the chips keep falling their way. WHY IS THAT?
  • GulfPundit
    Since it was designed to fail, I guess a lot of people are afraid Obamacare will succeed.
  • LinTaylor
    I guess Favreau must have gotten a concussion when that A.I.M. flunky exploded on him in “Iron Man 3”.
    • Marvin Nelson
      This is not the actor who played “Happy” Hogan in the Iron Man movies.
  • Turd Burglestein
    Brain-dead liberal or not, stephanie cutter is hot and I would marry her so I could take her last name and be “Turd Cutter”
    • happyscrapper
      Don’t marry a radical liberal woman unless you want to give up your soul.
      • Stephen L. Hall
        I though all marriage did that.
      • Spiny Norman
        I guess that’s what happened to Tom Hanks.
  • freddy
    Stephanie Cutter is bad a$$ and real barracuda who can rip you up really fast so watch it. She’s the real deal and surpasses any phony Alinsky guys. Hard core left wing operative. The other side needs someone like her. I’d love to see the debate with Dana Perrino and Stephanie.
    • happyscrapper
      Cutter is a good “debater”, but lacks truth. Without that, you got nuttin. She is a proven liar and has been caught in her lies more than once. In a debate with Dana Perrino, Dana would wipe the floor with her. Left wing bulls#t can’t stand up to right wing common sense.
  • neoface
    This woman’s head is so high up Obama’s arse, I think she is brain dead!
  • David maley
    the Dems want to make sure it does not succeed before the 2014 elections. that is who is scared.
  • Kathy Fugitt Price Skaggs
    Someone needs to tell Stephanie Cutter and Jon Favreau that it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
  • Kathy Fugitt Price Skaggs
    By the way who is Jon Favreau, I know who Stephanie Cutter is but I have no idea who this Favreau guy is.
    • Finrod Felagund
      Speechwriter for Obama. Not the director of Iron Man.
    • RonMar
      Good question. Maybe a better question is what is he?
  • BAW
    “everytime i think liberals have hit bottom of stupid barrel , they break out excavating equipment”
    Love that. It’s not just one Democrat making one stupid comment it’s stupid narratives they adopt and support. Today “scared Obamacare will succeed” on the heels of the BroChoice (or you won’t get laid) article which a significant number of people honestly thought couldn’t actually be real.
    The stupid barrel is beyond full.
  • DrSamHerman
    In everyone else’s world but Stephie Cutter’s, delayed implementation due to incompetenet administration, horrible downstream economic effects like reduction in hours and change in status for millions of working Americans from full to part time means “success’. I wonder how high her Abiilify dose is?
  • radicallyalyssa
    I’m terrified of it being fully implemented because our futures are at stake. This WON’T be a success, it will destroy our country. Liberals really HAVE reached a new level of stupid.
  • PJemmott
    No we know it will fail and as usual with this regime the taxpayers will pick up the tab for another Obama failure
  • walterc
    We’re afraid it will succeed the way the green energy loan program succeeded. Making Obama cronies rich while the taxpayers take it in the teeth.
    Obammycare has sure succeeded the hell out of my insurance. My costs have gone up $120 a month for my family.
    That’s the goal of obammycare, raise costs until all the insurance providers are driven out of the industry and the health care facilities have no incentive to provide quality service.
    Soon health insurance will only be available to the elite.
    • GMMI
      Mine went up $132 a month, while my wife’s went up $85 a month. We carry policies through our individual employers. If we tried to cover both of on either policy, we could not afford it. That coverage’s premium would be two-three times what we pay individually combines. The rise in our costs have come since ObumphuckCare was passed.
