Shiver their timbers! State Dept. backtracks, admits Kerry ‘was briefly on his boat’

Seawater can’t put out pants fires.

Two days after emphatically denying that Secretary of State John Kerry was anywhere near a boat off of Nantucket:

State Department spokestool Jen Psaki has amended her earlier story:

“Briefly on his boat.”

“Briefly” is such a relative term, right? Just like … “forthcoming.”

Lying for two days and quietly revealing the truth only after getting caught is being forthcoming? Well, all righty then.
