Midler conspiracy? Bette says DOMA ruling just a distraction from VRA horror

Listen up, all you liberals cheering the Supreme Court’s ruling on DOMA! Before you get too excited, Bette Midler needs to make sure you know The Truth: this was all just a ruse to take our eyes off of SCOTUS’ nefarious plot to return us to the days of Jim Crow.

You have been warned.

I guess that on one hand it is ok for SCOTUS to ok end discrimination about gay marriage but on the other you want discrimination of states rights? If you want VRA to continue, make it for all the states, not just some of the states.

My argument exactly…liberals are hypocrites, that’s all. Plus the majority of them do think that minorities are incapable of doing anything without the assistance of government.

She’s right on one point: the impact of the ruling on the Voting Rights Act does outweigh today’s rulings, but to the positive.

What we should mandate is a poll test. 5 questions to make sure you know there are 3 branches of federal government, a constitution, how many seats are there in the house, senate, and supreme court. If you cannot answer these questions, put your name tag on and get back to the fryer…

I love how she says “throws the liberals a bone”, as if the Supreme Court has to answer to them.

  • Jeremy

She is a very desperate attention seeker.

Just goes to show you, liberals are never satisfied with a ‘half victory’. It’s either ‘all or nothing’ with the left.

You’ve got to admire the tenacity of a woman that, daily, strives to top herself in the utterance of idiocrities.
