Jason Alexander convenes Festivus over DOMA ruling

Jason Alexander, the actor best known for his role on “Seinfeld,” was happy with the Supreme Court’s ruling on DOMA, but has no love for the “immoral” dissenters:

We’re guessing Alexander didn’t think Chief Justice John Roberts was “immoral” after the Obamacare vote.

Stupid celeb tweet of the day: Jason Alexander waxes philosophical about guns

  • Grandma HeadInjury

I just felt bad that nobody left a comment.

But while I’m here, did George forget to put the word “other” between “with all” and “Gay Americans”?

  • VerminMcCann

Festivus is not over until someone pins him.

  • rwnutjob

Just like the TV show, a Tweet about nothing

  • salvagesalvage

Um, he didn’t even mention “festivus”.

It’s weird how you guys obsess over him being in Seinfeld, why is that?

    • VerminMcCann

      You’re asking why it’s weird? I don’t know. Why?

      • salvagesalvage

I don’t know either. Twitty seems to have such a loathing for Jason Alexander that whenever he Tweets something it has to be made into a Seinfeld reference.

        Lack of imagination I suppose.

        • VerminMcCann

That thing sailing gracefully over your head is the point. Apparently, what you meant to ask was, “why do you guys obsess over the fact that Jason Alexander was in Seinfeld?” Instead you asked why it’s weird that “you guys” obsess over Seinfeld.

Regardless, his comments often spark references to Seinfeld because, but for Alexander having been on Seinfeld, no one would know who he is. People generally don’t like being pontificated at, even less so by a person with no claim to authority on the subject in question. The Seinfeld references are a way of expressing those sentiments, I imagine.

          • salvagesalvage

            Pontificated at?

What he forces you to read his Twitter feed?

          • VerminMcCann

Nothing in my comment implied that I was claiming he did.

Edit: Nor did I force you to read my comment, yet you were still free to respond to it as you chose–free marketplace of ideas and all that.

          • salvagesalvage

            > People generally don’t like being pontificated at,

Wingnuts don’t even understand what they post.

          • VerminMcCann

Well, you made it a few posts into the exchange before you started calling names, so I guess you deserve a gold star for the day.

Edit: Should I assume you miss the absurdity of claiming others don’t understand what they post when you began this exchange by writing something other than what you meant?

          • mike_in_kosovo

Wingnuts don’t even understand what they post.

And as usual, you provide the perfect exemplar of your point.

          • salvagesalvage

I have been zinged! You are as witty as GW Bush.

          • Grandma HeadInjury

Wow, between your pathetic repeats of “wingnut” and now this Bush thing, you really are up on your debate tactics, aren’t you? Just your first day in troll training?

          • salvagesalvage

Oh dear, one does not debate wingnuts, that’s a mug’s game, I just like laughing at them.

          • Grandma HeadInjury

Explains the lack of logical thought. I mean, after all, it is typical for most leftists like yourself.

I guess I always just hope for better, no matter how many times you children disappoint…

          • mike_in_kosovo

And both of us are wittier than you.

          • salvagesalvage

No, wit is a byproduct of intelligence, awareness and empathy, those are qualities that wingnuts don’t possess.

          • mike_in_kosovo

And yet, I’ve managed to show myself wittier than you… so once again, you prove YOURSELF to be lacking in intelligence, awareness and empathy.

          • salvagesalvage

            Nope.

Of course you don’t know what wit is so you can hardly judge it but I assure you I am and you are not.

Conservatives overwhelmingly supported an unconstitutional law. Democrats are getting to claim they’re are for Liberty today. Thanks a lot christian conservative! Please quit trying to make more laws.

    • VerminMcCann

This case had nothing to do with liberty–no one was stopping anyone from doing anything. It was an equal protection question, and once again the question has been resolved on the grounds that a person’s constitutional rights are dependent on whether the person is a member of one of liberals’ stupid little victim classes.

      • likeablaze

        OMG!!!!! WE NEED MORE LAWS!!!!!!!

        • VerminMcCann

          I disagree.

    • Zach Smith

So did the Democrats, including Clinton who signed it into law.

    • Grandma HeadInjury

Could somebody please put this ‘bot on “shuffle”? I think its stuck on “repeat”…

  • froggy19510

Yesterday he tweeted that he has amerous memories of Eve Plumb (Jan Brady) and now he is celebrating homosexual marriage. Well he is consistant.

  • notenoughtime

Alexander is like his Seinfeld character, self absorbed, self centered and hardly a noble individual. But thanks for enlightening us on the gay marriage issue.

I couldn’t give a stinkin’ crap what this fat, little, PETA-pushin’ retard thinks, says, or does…

      Yet you insist on commenting.

    I love how he’s all about the Constitution, except when it’s Amendments 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9. And 10-15,17-27.

  • VerminMcCann

Ha. Costanza just blocked me. I guess The Airing of Grievances is over.
