I don't get the sense that Martha Washington, Dolly Madison, Abigail Adams et al would be offended by the phrase "Founding Fathers".

Neither do we, but nevertheless, the White House announced that the papers of the “Founding Fathers Founders” are now available online, more than likely heavily redacted:

It didn’t take long for the White House to fix the heading, and surprisingly, it now reads “Founding Fathers.” How long before they “fix” that?
