Labor Dept. attorney charged with assault and battery in home invasion

NBC Washington reports that Paul D. Mannina, an attorney with the U.S. Department of Labor, has been arrested after allegedly breaking into a coworker’s home last week:

From the NBC report:

She told police when she opened the door, the man came at her with a Taser, pepper spray and handcuffs, and repeatedly beat her in the face. Police say he also attempted to sexually assault the victim.

Sounds like a swell guy.

Based on the way gov’t is running itself I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get promoted to a cabinet position

The guy is due for a promotion in DC for that.

What? She didn’t have a whistle?

  • KansasGirl

Yet this federal government has concerns about law-abiding citizens having guns?
I do want to know if this POS will still draw retirement benefits.

This guy used to work as a Tax Law Specialist in the IRS, I believe. There was a guy there with this name, working in retirement plans. He’s now working in retirement plans in the Labor Department. Not the most likable fellow, but surprised he ended up doing this kind of stuff.

By the way, the so-called “lawyers” who developed the harassment program of conservative organizations were really Tax Law Specialists, in the exempt organizations area. They are
