Dullard Lawrence O’Donnell deletes dim-witted IRS victims-bashing tweet; Gets schooled

Oh dear!  MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell pulled a dunce move on Twitter Tuesday night. He swiftly deleted his tweet, but he forgot one little thing:

That’s right! Here is O’Donnell’s tweet in all its glory.

Screen Shot 2013-06-04 at 9.47.16 PM

Actor Adam Baldwin captured the dunce-y tweet as well:

Err. Bless his precious heart! Dude, if you are going to attempt to slam people, at least get the facts straight.

Well, the lapdogs have received their marching orders there: Issa is the new villain, you see. Scandals? What scandals?

Hilarious. Rep. Issa is the chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. The IRS hearing on Tuesday was held by the House Ways and Means committee.

Committees are hard. Also hard? Truth.

Bingo. As Twitchy reported, three IRS-targeted groups received letters directly from Lois “Obama Face” Lerner. But, hey, let’s blame the victims, shall we?

Perhaps he was taking a page from Rep. McDermott’s vile book?

O’Donnell pathetically tried to backpedal.

He totally got it right on his show and stuff, people! Sheesh! One problem:

Zing! Plus, there is still his vile implication that the victims of IRS targeting are liars.

Bingo. Deplorable, yet totally typical.

The mockery was swift and hilarious.

And win:

    “I shouldn’t tweet while exhausted.”

No, Larry, you just shouldn’t tweet. Better to keep one’s mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

    • rippersnort

There’s no DOUBT he is and IDIOT…

    • r_coplin2001

Of course he is a fool as he works for MSNBC.

  • BrendaStarr

    Lawrence who? MSNBWhat?

  • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

Breaking – @Lawrence has just been spotted stumbling around drunk screaming the name Taggert and challenging a lamp post to fight

Classic! I can see that happening about every other night.

    • Pat R.

      The lamppost will win everytime

      • Canadian in USA

And the lamppost will be brighter than Lawrence.

…even if the bulb is burnt out.

        • ThomasCollins1

…he was looking for his keys…he didn’t drop them there, but that’s where the light was good.

        • Pat R.

the dead bulb alone would beat Larry…

      • jenndee

The lamppost will out smart ol’ Larry!

  • nc

Would you still be getting a paycheck if you did your job as badly as O’Donnell does his?

    • AMERICAN Kafir™(KAdams)

Oh hell no. Well, unless Affirmative Action is on your side.

    • Pat R.

the only people I know that can be wrong and keep their jobs are meteorologists. Even then, the weather pukes are right far more often than Larry the Liar.

    • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

Only if you are Susan Rice, in which case you get a promotion.

    • Victim O Circumstance

If you worked for the IRS you would. You may even get promoted.

  • Stephen L. Hall

It is amazing . . . ok, not so amazing . . . that Lawrence quickly apologized for getting the head of the committee wrong, but ignores that he throws out baseless charges of lying without the slightest bit of evidence.

    • grais

What else would you expect from someone with no good character?

    • jenndee

You have in a nutshell just covered Lawrence O’donell’s entire career. I will go one step further and say you just described the entire 24 hour cycle of MSNBC minus the prison reality their viewers love so much.

      • John W.

I think MSNBC will start cutting back on the prison shows once the perpetrators of Scandalpalooza start getting sent to prison.

    • truebeliever101

Strategy of the left: Facts be damned, just diminish your opponent by attacking their character. If there is no evidence to incriminate their character, make some up. If that doesn’t work, just throw out baseless accusations filled with vitriol and hatred. He’s a good useful idiot.

  • Hyork Dench

Maybe Larry is writing Jesse Jackson’s material now! Let’s not lost the good, Larry.

  • Hyork Dench

Larry was right. He shouldn’t tweet after bedtime, if by bedtime he means brain death.

  • peteee363

perhaps lawrence was having a slip of his own, and he was talking about his own date with a tranny? speaking of tranny’s, heres greg >> http://video.foxnews.com/v/928729774001/gregs-trouble-with-trannies/

“If an idiot tweets in a forest and no one is around to read it, does it make a sound?”

    • truebeliever101

When Twitchy is on the job, it makes a VERY loud sound! :)

Disagree with the “win”….. it should be “lean forward…. until your head is completely over the bowl before you vomit.”

  • Clete Torres

All calling O’Donnell a dullard does is denigrate real dullards.

    • grais

      I don’t agree that he’s a dullard. He’s more like a manic hysteric.

  • Clayton Grant

I suspect O’Donnell’s definition of tryanny is not in any dictionary, but can guarantee him that if the witness’ were under oath, not one would have given their statement and then taken the 5th!

    • ObamaFail

People like O’Donnel see the Constitution as a tyrannical document. So their definition is the opposite of the true definition.

  • $1014973

If you people don’t back off Larry is going to pull out his fake Boston tough guy accent again.

  • ozconservative

Wasn’t this guy the subject of an ’80s computer game??? I think it was called “Loser Larry in Lefty Lizardland” or something.

    • http://extremesplash.wordpress.com/ Ben Bollman

Leisure Suit Larry, although both are apt names for O’Donnell.

    • dagnytaggart

Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizzards.

      • ozconservative

So basically the same thing then :-)

        • dagnytaggart

Yes, definitely. I think most are lounge lizards.

  • HARP2

Lawrence has been upset ever since he found out he is just another insignificant commie punk.

  • HARP2

Never trust a guy with no lips.

    • TocksNedlog

Never listen to a guy with no brain.

      • HARP2

        That would be Obama.

  • GoSellCrazySomeplaceElse

@redsteeze. MSNBC – Lean Forward, until your head hits the desk. Or face hits the mashed potatoes. cc @Lawrence

    • YouHateMe

You forgot ‘until your face rubs up against your buddys’ rear end’….lol

  • Garym

Forgive Larry. He still thinks Michael Douglas and Martin Sheen were great presidents.

  • YouHateMe

Sad, drunken, socialistic, misanthropic douche nozzle. Not one of that networks shows broach objectivity or fact finding. Guess when you are like our muslim friends being a true believer means being a true believer?!

    • mickeyco

Between you and Michi I. (above) I think you’ve covered him pretty well.

      • YouHateMe

        Keepn’ it real.
It is funny how sorry MethNBC is doing with viewers and ALL those hosts primp like they are the shizzle. Questions of narcissistic self -immolation come to mind…

“At least I got it right on TV” Only problem with that is no one would see it…

  • http://discus.com yourmamatoo

    Poor O’Donnell.
The only way he can get attention.
    What a sad sack.
But he did get schooled. Probably figured more than his 5 viewers disagree with his parroting talking points.

  • MarcusFenix

Honestly, I had to look this person up, never heard of them before.

I’m sure one of his 3 viewers could tell us who he is, in detail, though?

    • Mark81150

      Sorry about Dom…

I’ve never seen his show either, but a raging dimwit who tells everyone up front he’s a socialist, can be all that much in demand. We fought a cold war for 60 years to keep his kind OUT of the nation..

      • MarcusFenix

It’s ok… thanks. (actually, it -was- quite the sad moment…you get attached to characters in a story after like 8 years or so..)

Agreed. Sadly, all of the fighting didn’t keep out that kind of trash anyway, and now we’re saddled with it indefinitely.

  • vetgal1970

So it appears that the newest talking point is that the ‘witnesses were not under oath’, and therefore not truthful. Project much? Seriously, when it hits the fan the ‘journalists’ need not think we will forget their role in the ruination of America.
Thank you to those who had the courage to testify yesterday despite KNOWING that the media would join in the Dems campaign to attempt to discredit you.

  • JudyinNC

Funniest tweets I’ve seen in a long time. Still laughing out loud.

Yes! Moral: Don’t drink and tweet!

  • Clayton Grant

Even a real economist would have trouble putting a number to Krugman’s errors.

  • Clete Torres

The easier answer would be how many times has Paul Krugman been right? None that I can recall…

  • ceemack

I think you’re talking about a googleplex number here.

  • John W.

    Perhaps a googleplex factorial.
