I urge my fellow citizens to detect those who conceal carry and take em' out as a threat since no one knows intent of concealed carrier.—

Concealed carry legislation is headed to the desk of Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn after a compromise bill passed both houses of the state legislature yesterday. The news that Illinois would begin issuing five-year concealed carry permits to citizens was good news to Second Amendment supporters.
Not everyone was thrilled to see Illinois join the other 49 states in having some form of concealed carry. On the same day a journalism professor called for NRA members to be fired on by the government with tanks and missiles, the vote in Illinois inspired disappointment in some and violent gun fantasies in at least one other.
Those comments weren’t about to go unanswered.
Just as the government’s gun grab has been followed by a surge in NRA memberships and a run on guns and ammo, rabid opposition to concealed carry might be the best advertisement for a permit.
