It’s the same no matter where you look. With how Dan has a hang up on conservatives, and uses his hang up as a justification for saying what he does, I’d say the word bully aptly describes him.

  Liberals had to change the definition of bullying so that it can only apply to conservatives. They did the same thing with racism. That way they can claim that conservatives are the ones with the power (because liberals are always fighting against the establishment and white priviledge and thousands of years of social heirarchy or somesuch) and therefore the only ones capable of bullying/racism. No matter how much bigger/meaner a gay person is than a religious one, the gay person can never be the bully. Whatever a gay person does/says to a religious person must be defense against bullying because societally the power differential is on the side of the religious person (according to them). They change the definition so it fits for groups (which don’t exist in real life – they get to create them and therefore define them and therefore whatever they say can in some sense be true) instead of for individuals. Dealing with things on an individual level is just too hard, and isn’t something government can do successfully, so stick everyone into groups and liberals can finally manage/fix society.
  Personally, I’d say the Oxford definition is also slightly off. A smaller/weaker person can bully a bigger/stronger one as long as the person being bullied is in a position where they feel they must take the abuse.

I see kids get bullied all the time. I try to do something about it but am limited to sending them to ‘guidance’ where the most useless employees in my school reside (they don’t really WORK). OR they may get sent to ‘mediation’. None of this EVER stops bullying. I had a child bullied repeatedly by a special ed kid (how stupid to bully a teacher’s kid) and it only stopped when the moron left school.
