    They’re so predictable. No imagination.

It’s not hard to predict what liberals think.

Not hard at all. Think what a reasonable person would think, and think just the opposite.

It’s easy to predict what they DO. It’s easy to predict what they BELIEVE. It’s not easy to predict what they THINK because it doesn’t happen often enough.

In the case of this article, referencing a specific event, certainly…

      • Kevin Krom

No, implying that a specific political affiliation is linked with stupidity. It does not imply all stupid people are liberals, just that a typical liberal is stupid.

Disagree or not with the premise, it does not mean what you said.

How many Tea Party rallies devolved into violence, rioting, and property damage?

Hint: Think of a whole number less than 1. (edit)

It does speak to the irony of it all, though; The party that supports environmental causes can be so very dirty, as in leaves huge meses about. I remember seeing images of the mess at the capital after the first inauguration. That was very upsetting to see.

There’s a certain political party though that is being extra stupid, especially the last 4 years. They’ve put our country in massive debt, they’ve helped cover up terrorism that killed 4 Americans overseas. They also hate capitalism, even though that’s what made them rich, and they try to blame the other party for everything instead of admitting they screwed up. Now, which political party am I talking about? The Democrats!!

  • Chimfish

The cutoff for wealth that they wish to be redistributed always happens to fall right above their own incomes. Hate to break it to them, but all of America is in the top 1% of wealth on a worldwide scale. Would poor Africans be justified in smashing up their MacBooks?

Also, the whole “money is the root of all evil” spiel might be a little more believable if their mission wasn’t essentially to be given more it for themselves.

    • Kevin Krom

Exactly. One of the biggest problems of the OWS movement is the sheer stupidity f it when you look at it logically. “The 1%” have too much control, so the solution is to make them pay for everyone else’s rent, food, school, whatever.

But let’s think that through… if they got their wishes, they’d be MORE dependent than ever before on the “1%”. Now they would have vested interest in making sure they’re not held accountable if they overstep the law, because then the checks would stop coming in. “Too big to fail” would directly affect their lifestyle, and they’d essentially be slaves to the giant corporations, while smugly sitting back and boasting how the stuck it to “the man”.

    • LisaG

That is just another case of cherry-picking through scripture to get the parts they want to employ for their cause. In this case it’s just to give them an excuse to act like imbeciles. Money itself is not evil. The verse (1 Timothy 6:10) actually calls out the”love of money” for being the root of all evils. Money, like any other tool, is capable of doing great good. If these clowns manage to irreparably damage successful businesses in their area, I wouldn’t wish to be around to see what kind of protesting will occur when no one has a job because there is nowhere to work, and therefore, no money. Besides all that, it’s a sure bet that more than a few of them can’t even spell “anarchy,” and more still couldn’t even define “capitalist.”

      • AMSilver

You have to wonder what the people who love to talk about money being the root of all evil would think of the parable of the Talents, where Jesus told a story of men who were given money; the ones who went out and got *more* money were rewarded, while the poorest of the three who did nothing to improve his position got his money taken away from him, and given to the richest of the three….

        • therantinggeek

EDIT: LisaG nailed this earlier, so there’s no reason for me to repeat what she said about taking the verse out of context :) But I’ll add to it instead by jumping down to verses 17-19 of 1 Timothy 6 (NKJV):

“Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.”

        • retssgusa

The three men were a mans sons and the ones who earned more money with what they were given were giving it back to the father and not keeping it for themselves. The one who just kept it was “punished” for being lazy and not working!

      • LadaMokusa

Actually, 1 Tim. 6:10 is “radix malorum est cupiditas” or “greed is the root of all evil”. “Money” is a mistranslation. In this case, greed is considered to be any desire for temporal things that replaces the relationship with God.
I don’t think the protestors would like the correct interpretation – it might disrupt their self-worship.

        • LisaG

I am unfamiliar with Latin translations, but the original Greek text contains the word “philargyria,”, which is accurately translated “love of money.” Either way, you are correct. Selfishness is at the root of all poor character, including greed, even if that greed involves protesting that some people have too much. It then begs the question: who do they think should receive the excess from those who “have too much?”

happened because a black man ran for president and the blacks came out to vote, unfortunately too many republicans sat home and watched the country crumble.

Happened because the most populated areas are full of Liberal Democrats who don’t have the common sense to know that their way will not work. What the Democrats push is nothing but Communism. History has proven over and over that Communism will not work. Communistic countries always turn into Dictatorships wer the Government oppresses the people and no freedoms are enjyed.

We know full well they are not true anarchists – they want to sit at home and not work while collecting welfare, food stamps, obamaphones, etc, all of which requires a big controlling government. • http://twitter.com/HotRodFan899 Gary Freeman

Socialism doesn’t work. Look at Greece and Cyprus. The current state of our country is all because of OBama. He spent more in his first term than the first 43 Presidents combined. Socialism will be the fall of this country. Our President is a socialist, that’s why he spends without any regard for how we’re going to pay for it. Morons blame Republicans for everything, but it’s only because they don’t have the stones to blame the party they worship

It isn’t all about debt. It’s about raising children with integrity and respect for the past and present. These children today are misguided on what is important. And it’s about the education of these children, Money can be replaced overtime, integrity is hard to get a foot hold once it’s lost. But you’re right he is spending way to much with no plan to refill the treasury with stable funds.

Speaking on behalf of all Boomers, you couldn’t be more misguided. As a child and all the way up until I was big enough to turn the tables I was spanked (beaten according to my shrink) nothing was handed to me, I worked at 3 or 4 part time jobs for gas money. When I became a parent I made sure my kids had to work for what they got too. Now if you look at the Boomers as part of the 99%-1% argument then the ones you think caused the problems are the 1%. The other 99% grew up teaching our kids right from wrong (back then God was allowed in school). If you want to know where it started it was with the mentally damaged liberals. Disciplining your child, teaching them there are punishments for breaking the rules suddenly became child abuse. Teaching children morals based on biblical lessons became something to be sneered at. Making stars out of people like Robert Downing and Lindsey Lohan instead of our stars like John by God Wayne and Barbara Billingsley. You want to blame someone, blame the liberals in charge. ‘It takes a whole village’ my ass! I takes a quick boot to the backside.

AS a child of a boomer, since you agree that your experience is all inclusive of boomers , you’re wrong!!!! Strange how all those good qualities you speak of disappeared as Boomers became of voting age and gained purchasing power. Right around the mid sixties I believe wasn’t it? • John (it true me am)

Actually, as much as people hate to admit it due to romanticism of the defeating the Nazis, the “greatest generation” has a lot of the blame for this. Who do you think kept voting in FDR? Not to mention look who coined the term “greatest generation” to begin with. Labeling something with a name that people feel hesitant to argue against is revisionist history 101.

This goes back long before the Kennedy era of the celebrity politician and the sexual revolution. The progressive cancer has been growing since the turn of the 20th century. The “Lost Generation” was responsible for Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson, both batshit crazy progressives with their children bringing the cause into its own with FDR himself. Everything today is simply a continuation of the progressive gameplan laid out 100 years ago, make no mistake this is a long term con and not one any of us can appreciate fully in the span of our own lifetimes.

And at the root of it all lies that nasty little truth the left loves to supress, eugenics.

        • jsean

There is truth to that. But it really started to steamroll after Nixon.

          • John (it true me am)

But a lot of that is perception as progressivism became the “popular” thing, particularly with the LBJ racial strategy. Think about how many of our core modern policy issues are directly related to FDR’s regime. Social Security entitlements and its direct spin offs alone account for a majority of our problems.

And you know… most have apple products… and are loyal to the brand… the same brand that has 800,000 jobs in china that they could bring to America – so they sell the most expensive goods made at the very lowest cost and the company sits on $74Billion in cash because they can’t afford to hire American workers! #Idiots

    • Michael Anderson (WB)

I know Apple builds its products at Foxconn, so does every other US computer maker. Union labor here makes it too expensive and too prone to disruption.

However, Apple does differentiate itself from the other US computer makers, Apple employs a bunch of software, electronics and mechanical engineers here in the US who design their products. When Dell or HP want a new computer to sell they call up Foxconn and have them do the design work in China. When Apple wants a new computer to sell they design it themselves and then send the design to Foxconn to build. Obviously it’s not as American as we might like, but Apple would have to be the most American of the major computer companies.

BTW the world of automobiles is even more convoluted. From what I have researched Honda is the most American car company in the world.

Reminds me of the ’60s & ’70s when they’d scream “Baby Killers!” at soldiers one day and gather to scream about the right to abortion the next.
These kids are too demented to be seen OR heard.

Probably planned the whole thing at Starbucks.

Take one part “sense of entitlement”, and add to it one part “liberal brainwashing”, then mix well with “herd mentality” with a sprinkle of “mob frenzy” and there you go. What a bunch of entitled prick kids that have had it easy will do for kicks these days – they all should be rounded up and sent to Afghanistan for a tour of duty to put their liberty in perspective.

Liberals are getting violent….wasn’t this also an immigration rally?

    • June Clinkenbeard

Yes, it was an immigration rally. All was well until those folks left towards dusk and the anarchist’s (read spoiled white kids) moved in. Then it was a horse of a different color. The same horse they rode last year and will no doubt continue to ride because they are morons. We need a special jail for morons. Could we just rope off one of the square states and dump them all there? No offense to square states but we gotta put ’em somewhere, right?

That’s what’s stupid about Americans who consider themselves socialist. They hate capitalism, but they don’t mind reaping the rewards that capitalism affords them. They’ll talk about capitalist dogs, while they arrive at their anti-capitalism rallies in their expensive cars. They get out in their designer clothes, wearing their expensive sunglasses, while taking pictures of their fellow “socialists” on their expensive I-phones. There is nothing more pathetic and hypocritical than an American born socialist.

  • Blake Waymire

Just like leftists. Enjoy the fruits of capitalism while demanding its downfall.

  • Hal Fast

The love of money or greed has no income class pinheads. Now go get a job at Nike if you are fortunate enough to do so after your plain open display of total and complete ignorance. Btw; there are many words for ignorant.

What do you expect –You know those are not the brightest bulbs on the tree!

  • Corporal Clinger

They must have gotten thrown out of mom’s basement for the night.

  • gracepmc

Like New Years Eve and alcohol — May Day Seattle — amateur day for anarchist wannabes.

  • Legal Immigrant in TX

Back in the Philippines, the left kept rallying to remove all the American bases there. They hated America and they were backed by the commies. The funny thing is, while they are doing the protest, most of them are wearing Levi’s, Adidas, Nike, smoke Marlboro and wear other US products.

I guess lefts are stupid globally. hehehe…

  • brownsfan32

But hey, let’s hear about the radical Tea Party riots

  • lainer51

    Can’t fix stupid~~~~~~

  • MnVoiceofReason

These people have NO philosophical beliefs or any rational ideas of their own. They’re simply acting on the animal level instincts of the herd. It’s about vandalism and getting free stuff or earning points from their tenured professors who sit in ivory towers because they couldn’t produce in the real world (if you can – do, if you can’t – teach!). They use the iPhone toting anti-capitalist moron’s lame protest as cover for their actions.
The media (funded by even more capitalist’s money) continue with the hypocrisy and sympathize with these useless spoiled idiots. At the end of the day, they’ll be back in mom and dad’s basement plotting their next strike against “the man”, hoping for the day Michael Moore interviews them and shoots a little faux self esteem into the veins of their wasted existence.

  • JACK BARBER

take a survey ,and ask how many of them use Apple computers ? $1300.00 ,compared to $700.00 MS …….,and If there buying there food or cooking it themselves….This is more of a joke to be than when I see a walmart worker on break talking on there Iphone outside while smoking a cig ..

  • Craig Jacobs

Looks like a good time for the national guard to be utilizing some of that ammo they’ve been hoarding.

  • golftilidrop

Further proof of the hypocracy that is the basis of liberalism.

  • Orlando Cee

Theirs is a level of stupidity that cannot even grasp their level of hypocrisy.

  • MurphTacular

Yes, it’s hypocritical and it’s also not new … Many have made fun of trusta-farians wearing Pata-Gucci clothing for years. Nice to see that twitchy has now caught up with about a 20-year-old phenomenon … Welcome to 1993, everyone.

    “Al-Jazeera-Looking-to-Hire-800-American-Journalists”

Some of those anti-capitalists could bash America for free – to help Al Jazeera get in the black after that big payout to the anti-capitalist hero, Al Gore.

Okay, where’s all the MSM coverage of the evil, terrorist fleabaggers? Oh, they’re just anarchists?
See, libbies? Like racism and fear-mongering, this is the projection you cast on the Tea Party. We have hundreds of these violent videos carried out by your ilk. How many do you have of the Tea Party?

  • Franklin Crittenden

    Someone has to ask;

Why support the war in Afghanistan, but not support a war in Iraq when Iraq invaded it’s neighbor and Saddam tortured and murdered thousands?

Why support the people of Egypt in their effort to overthrow the Western friendly Government and stand by and do nothing to support the Iranian People against their anti-American and oppressive Government?

Why Support the Libyan People in overthrowing their oppressive Dictator and stand by and let the Syria Dictatorship kill it’s citizens by the tens of thousands using Chemical weapons in the process?

Why avoid calling a terrorist a terrorist and why cover up and lie about what actually took place in Benghazi, Libya?

Why spend over 60% of America’s Foreign Aid on Islamic and Muslim dominated nations?

Why support or trust Barrack Obama?
