It's sad that @Sacbee_news chose to publish such a tasteless cartoon about West explosion -- especially on the day we mourned lives lost.—
Senator Ted Cruz (@SenTedCruz) April 27, 2013
Like Gov. Rick Perry and anyone with even a smidgen of decency, Sen. Ted Cruz was appalled by the Sacramento Bee’s tasteless political cartoon about the West, Texas, fertilizer plant explosion.
Liberal leanings shouldn’t trump decency. But try telling that to the poor, beleaguered victims at the Sacramento Bee — you know, the ones who danced on the backs of the 14 people killed by the explosion to take a swipe at Perry over government regulations.
And don’t bother talking about decency and respect to Dallas Morning News political writer Wayne Slater. He doesn’t care that the Bee offended the grieving citizens of West to take a jab at the governor.
