Boston Police Department tweets no arrest made in Boston bombing case; FBI confirms

As Twitchy reported, first came word that a Boston Marathon bombing suspect was identified. Then, multiple news outlets were reporting that a Boston bombing suspect had been arrested. John King of CNN got the ball rolling (and sparked a lib freak-out over his use of “dark-skinned” male).

Other outlets said only that an arrest is imminent, and authorities continued to deny that an arrest had been made. Now, the Boston Police Department tweeted out a denial and the FBI is confirming.

The FBI is urging caution.

Twitchy will continue to monitor this story and update with further developments.

This will not be as fast as a TV show. Crime, investigation and trial all in 43 minutes. The media will fall over themselves with all the false alarms to be first to report and then in 20 minutes walk it back to only 2 hr later reports some other breaking report.

Media…exercise caution?…he or she’s already been tried in local court or sent to gitmo…depending on what channel you’re watching ….one small problem …gotta catch them first.

I guess it was too much to hope that this monster be caught quickly.

I suppose when the ratings are as low as those of CNN, a network will try anything to get viewers.

Ah, the wonders of the MSM. They must have convinced themselves long ago that critical thinking no longer applies.

Unintended consequences? There ARE no consequences for liberals. The media SKEWERED the “white hispanic” before anyone new ANYTHING about the case. Now the Martin family is PAID, baby. And the media just keeps on truckin…….Consequences. MEH.

Authorities say they have not made an arrest. Doesn’t mean they don’t
already have him in custody. Otherwise, I have to think that composites
of this guy would be all over the news right now since they’ve
positively ID’ed him from photos and videos.

A guest on Hannity’s show this evening said the Saudi National who had been heavily guarded after being admitted to a hospital in Boston, with severe burns and was thought to be “a person of interest” had been “cleared” but he will be deported on Tuesday for “National Security” reasons. Hannity said Reuters reported Obama met with the Saudi Prince’s Ambassador (a meeting which was not on Obama’s schedule). Think there’s any connection there? It’s not brain surgery folks.
