Another #AssaultBackpack crime. When will Congress ban these dangerous weapons? Does anyone need a high-capacity backpack? Or those scary military-style, Molle packs? Think of the children!

    • J.N. Ashby

They need smaller bags. I mean look at how many envelope clips a back pack can hold.

Envelope clips in a high capacity backpack magazine???!!!

Quick! Call the Colorado legislature and ask them if these backpacks will be gone after all the envelopes are used up???!!!!

        • mapache

No more than seven envelopes allowed per backpack

    • Garth Haycock

Backpacks? What about envelopes? Envelopes are the real problem here.

  • Tom Flynn

    Is this a bad thing???

  • sigh

Ban high capacity backpacks. Who really needs to carry around that much stuff anyway? And it’s bad for your back, so there are health benefits with the ban.

    • JustLikeAnimals

No worries. According to a highly placed expert within the Colorado legislature, the high capacity backpacks will be gone after all the envelopes are used up.

what about sling-bags? They look tactical and mimic military sidearm straps. The “pistol grip” of backpacks.

URGENT!!! Obama has directed Biden to convene a blue-ribbon panel of experts to look at ways to reduce the likelihood of bomb and hazardous substance attacks. Items on Biden’s short list include banning stamps, envelopes, mailboxes, backpacks, marathons, cooking utensils, the US Postal Service, Congress, and the Presidency.

    Go get ’em, Joe!!!

I want a background check and three week waiting period for 4 quart Pressure Cookers!

From your lips to Harry “I got nothing better to do” Reid’s ears. He’s authoring the legislation now, and all signs suggest it has a better chance of getting 60 votes than today’s anti-gun legislation.

        For Feinstein’s Clinton AWB redux?

Don’t think that’s going to happen, either.

Perhaps if we had a pressure cooker registry authorities could be alerted if somebody buys more than one pressure cooker. Or maybe we should limit the number of pressure cookers per three month period.

Ummmm…. CNN? Any confirmed reports from official sources? CNN has been kinda peeing in the wind today.

Perhaps Senators and Congress people should be encouraged to pee on themselves and carry a pen at all times in case they need to fend off a backpack.
