Powerful photo captured by Twitter user: Couple reunited after Boston Marathon bombing

A bit of faith during a time of heartbreak and horror.

Twitter users are holding on tightly to this incredibly powerful moment, captured by Megan Johnson, a writer in Boston, and posted to her Twitter feed. Ms. Johnson provided some other on-scene reports of uplifting moments during a time of tragedy.

Ms. Johnson offers an act of kindness herself.

An iconic photo, captured in real time by a Twitter user. Other Twitter users are grateful for being able to share the uplifting and powerful moment.

Beautiful.

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Boston.

I was struck by the beauty of the picture, then had a dose of reality when I saw the second picture taken on Berkeley St. That gray building on the corner is where I used to work. It’s the old John Hancock building. I can’t even imagine the heartbreak and chaos.
