Phillies’ Ben Revere tapes ‘Pray for Boston’ message in glove, makes spectacular catch and new fans [pics, video]

Philadelphia Phillies’  baseball player Ben Revere kept Boston Marathon bombing victims in his prayers and on his glove. He also managed to make an amazing catch. He won much-deserved plaudits and kudos from old and new fans alike.

Watch the video. Thank you for the uplift, Ben Revere!

Not only an awesome snag, but he turned the double play…

“Watch, you fans, and you shall see
Of the outstretched catch from one Philly……”

A man is blessed with enough talent to make the bigs….taught the meaning of humility and caring…enough to use a simple piece of tape on a glove to honor the fallen in a city called Boston, home of another Revere. Then goes out and just so happens to make, what in all likelihood, will be one of the great catches of the year.

Coincidences? I don’t believe in ’em. Let’s just say someone works in not so mysterious ways.

See what happens when you show your support? That’s called “good karma”, my friends.
