Planned Parenthood ‘appalled’ by Kermit Gosnell’s ‘criminal enterprise’

Hold on there, Planned Parenthood! Before you throw accused mass-murderer Kermit Gosnell under the bus, keep in mind that the man might be charged with killing a woman and seven babies while performing illegal, late-term abortions, but he hasn’t been convicted yet. Aren’t these the kind of snap moral judgments we right-wingers are always being lectured against making?

Granted, a lot of us still stumble over the concept of “good” abortions vs. bad ones. Live Action founder Lila Rose (thankfully) has been a thorn in the side of Planned Parenthood for years and had her own questions. Now that Planned Parenthood has shown the ability to be appalled by something other than pro-lifers, what is the organization going to do about it?

As long as we have Planned Parenthood’s attention, it seems there are more “local crime” stories where this one came from.

  • HARP2

Hey planned parenthood………..If he was so disgusting, why did you refer so many patients to him…..HUH…..HUH !!!!!

  • NRPax

I see that Planned Parenthood has just realized that ignoring Gosnell is not doing any good so they are in COA mode.

    • Garth Haycock

Exactly. Now that PP is aware (finally) about the rage across the country regarding Gosnell’s evil works, they want to be on the right side of history.

Sorry, PP, that isn’t going to work. History will show that you are no different than Gosnell.

    • trixiewoobeans

They’re afraid they’re going to be hit with some of the splatter.

  • JesLHW

How can Planned Parenthood condemn Gosnell? He practiced infanticide, which is exactly what the PP rep in Florida was trying to defend.

  • Lady 12

The pot just called the kettle black.

  • John Thomas “Jack” Ward III

    But…But… KILLING UNBORN BABIES! Yeah, been there, heard that….Question: Will you lobby to change the laws regarding failed PBA’s/LTA’s (Partial Birth Abortions and Late-Term Abortions) to save the lives of BABIES? That should be the Question. Jawamax 8<{D}

Planned Parenthood ‘appalled’ by Kermit Gosnell’s ‘criminal enterprise’
But the mainstream media isn’t. Says alot doesn’t it

    • trixiewoobeans

They haven’t taken off their bullsh*t-colored glasses, yet.

    • mike_in_kosovo

PP is ‘appalled….appalled!! to find that illegal abortions were going on in Gosnell’s clinic!!

  • Karl Winrich

Planned Parenthood now condemning Gosnel while supporting their FL rep shows that they know the case against Gosnel is airtight, so they are divorcing themselves from him. It’s called “Damage Control”.

    • cgraham77

  • Rachael

At least 1 woman died as a result of a Gosnell abortion. 347 women have died because of a Planned Parenthood abortion.

  • Jack Deth

Just to heighten Planned Parenthood’s already seeping, ugly paranoia. I’ll quote one of my favorite lines from cinema.

“They’re coming to get you, Barbara!”

    • Matthew Koch

      What film is that from?

      • Jack Deth

George A. Romero’s ‘The Night of the Living Dead’.

        The opening cemetery scene.

  • Republicanvet

So now I suspect the media may report minimally on this now that PP has realized this is not going away …and said something publicly about it to give the media direction.

  • Republicanvet

…and remember, the undercover videos by Lila Rose have shown clearly that PP has no problem performing abortions on clearly underage girls, or underage girls impregnated by clearly adult males.

  • nc

Hey PP, we’re not buying your pathetic donkey blanket.

  • JR_atHome

You have to remember why it was started in the first place. Who was it Margret somebody? It was about controlling the black population at first before it became a convienient form of birth control if you can call it that. I’m all for a womens freedom of choice as long as the pendulum swings both ways and only under certian conditions and they are not financial, medical only. Its BS when a women says they decide what goes on with their body when a pregnacy is involved. It takes two to make that happen and as for the males part he should have a say either way. Personely I’m against it except for the aforementioned. That being said those that do get one have to live with it the rest of their lives and thats a torment for them. Should it be sanctioned by law? NO.

    • AMERICAN Kafir™(KAdams)

Margaret Sanger, heroine of Hillary Clinton. You should see how Wiki depicts her in such a positive light.

  • Tom Anderson

How do you condemn someone who does the same thing?

  • Ken Alan Draper

wasn’t their rep in Florida going on about how post birth abortions should be made Legal? Seems ol’ Kermit the creep was jumping the gun.

  • TruthIsAbsolute

PP saying they’re appalled is like the cookie monster calling microwaved goodies appalling.

  • ked5

methinks pp realizes this is not going to stay in the underbrush (or is that the dumpster?) where they would like it and the msm worked hard to keep it. better to get their “proper” narrative out ahead of the rush in hopes they will be believed.
pp – NO one believes you.

  • Richard Jefferies

About two years too late. As my dad used to say, you’re not sorry, you’re just sorry you got caught.

  • LochGates44

How dare he not share the wealth.

    • shimauma

you’ll notice that PP took a long time to respond to this story, enough time to make sure their kickbacks from Gosnell were untraceable.

  • DurkaDurka

How many patients did Planned Parenthood send to him?

  • TocksNedlog

Translating from Planned Parenthood-speak to human talk:
    “#Gosnell case is appalling.”
    — ‘Embarrassing’
    “He ran a criminal enterprise,”
    — The Warren Court said OUR ‘enterprise’ is legal!
    “not a health facility”
    — Most of the mothers we teat make it out alive!
“& should be punished to full extent”
    — And should be driven into obscurity, before what he did has a chance to cast an even deeper shadow upon what WE do.

    • shimauma

Well done on the breakdown. You’re like the LT Ohura of Truth. (applause) I’ll be stealing that.

  • detroit19

Wonder how many women PP referred, directly or indirectly, to Gosnell’s House of Horrors?

  • JR48

Planned Parenthood just shut down a clinic in Delaware after two nurses squealed about the conditions there on local television.

It’s time for the state to step in and start inspecting abortion clinics. They cannot police themselves.

  • PatriotRG

PP are appalled at his poor serial killing skill set. He obviously wasn’t paying attention in class.

    • torpedoman2002

PP is upset because he was caught and now all the dirty little secrets about abortion are now out.

  • Kenneth Weene

Clearly there are still backroom abortion providers. We can only imagine the reasons why the women involved waited so late to seek out this sad service. The answer is not to further restrict the rights of women to terminate unwanted (and unsafe) pregnancies but rather to expand the availability of those services while doing everything we can to avoid the need for abortions, for example by supporting sex education and by encouraging young adults to obtain genetic information not only after insemination but before. Late term abortions should be a procedure of very last resort when the health of the mother is at risk and when the parent(s) have been given the very best information to help them make the decision.

  • dunst43

From the Planned “Parenthood” website. It seems that they list the options for unplanned pregnencies in their order of preference:

Millions of women face unplanned pregnancies every year. If you are deciding what to do about an unplanned pregnancy, you have a lot to think about. You have three options — abortion, adoption, and parenting.|utmccn=(organic)|utmcmd=organic|utmctr=abortion%20clinic%20philadelphia&__utmv=-&__utmk=25655741

    • torpedoman2002

Yes they have to mention other options so they can justify their brand name. However, they push for abortion almost every time.

  • 912er

    Pot… kettle.

  • mapache

The only problem that Planned Parenthood had was he used unsterilized scissors.

  • JesLHW

They think it’s worth defending as a valid option. “Post-birth abortion” = infanticide.

  • ceemack

If aborted babies could speak, they might disagree.

  • pinkelephant22

YES THEY DO. Sorry, but you do not know what you’re talking about

  • froggy19510

They don’t need to practice. They’ve got it down to a science!

  • NRPax

You are deluding yourself if you think that what is being removed is anything other than a human life. At least be honest with yourself to that degree.

  • Karl Winrich

Post birth means that the baby is fully outside of the mother’s body. If the baby is alive and breathing on it’s own then it’s classified as a person under the law and as such is afforded the full right to life as any other person. To perform a post birth abortion is to terminate another human life, how is this not infanticide???

  • KansasGirl

    How do you know?

  • shimauma

so murdering babies isn’t infanticide….wow, dictionary sure has changed on libturd hands…

  • mapache

Sure they do. What else is partial birth abortion, A baby is partially born and you drive a scissors into the skull. Seems pretty obvious to me.

  • ceemack

Planned Parenthood slices up babies inside the womb and sucks out the pieces.

Kermit Gosnell delivers babies and then basically cuts them in two.

    You’re right. That’s a huge distinction.

  • froggy19510

Either way the baby is dead!

  • pinkelephant22

JustThinkAbouttt = CLUELESS. They support & defend every type of abortion including infanticide. Their national leader & regional representatives are fighting against regulations to stop infanticide.

  • Colonel_Bat_Guano

Abortions don’t seem to be very safe for the babies regardless of who performs them.

  • Stephen K

It was thanks to the actions of Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion groups in fighting any efforts to meaningfully regulate, or to even inspect, abortion facilities, that Kermit Gosnell was able to operate his butcher shop for 17 years. How many more Gosnells are out there doing what he did, or even worse, completely free of any kind of oversight?

They created Gosnell – now they can reap the whirlwind.

You liberals are really big on micro-managing and micro-regulating every single detail of the practice of all businesses. So why do abortion clinics get a pass?

  • Todd Hill

The “difference” is apparently only 3-4 inches, which is the average depth of the birth canal/vagina. PP’s pro-abortion stance hinges entirely on geography; as long as the ‘specimen’ remains behind the vaginal opening, it’s a non-alive (undead?) fetus and can be treated as nothing more than a ball of cells or a ‘parasite’ living within a host. The moment it slips past the vaginal opening it magically goes from being undead to becoming alive and is at that point considered a baby.

Oh, and how can an abortion be safe for the fetus?

  • shimauma

murdered babies = infanticide. what libturd imbecile dictionary are you using?

  • Native American Potato

They also don’t seem to do them very safely either with the number of women being sent to ERs because of botched abortions in other places like St. Louis and Delaware.

  • torpedoman2002

Abortion is murder. It doesn’t matter if it’s inside or outside the womb. Abortion stops a beating human heart. It’s not the mother’s body it’s another human body. If you stop a human heart, no matter if it’s on a street corner with a knife or in the womb with a knife, it is still murder.

  • Clayton Grant

    Damn! Wish I’d said that!

  • trixiewoobeans

    He’s PP’s own, personal Frankenstein!

  • 3seven77

Not anymore. But if he was free and still practicing they would.

  • KansasGirl

    Oh really?

  • shimauma

and your simpleton statement is based on…what exactly??

  • 3seven77

JustThinkAboutIt wants this story to go away. Because he/she doesn’t want Obama’s support of infanticide known.

  • Michael Anderson (WB)

Actually PP is now lobbying for “post birth abortions” to be legal. Are they going to raise the limit to 18 years? Imagine all the money it would save: no need for CPS, it’s all just botched post birth abortions.

  • shimauma

    Amen! +50 million

  • torpedoman2002

Statements made by PP in Florida. That statement was inconvenient wasn’t it.
