Conservafraud Donald Trump trumpets Dana Loesch quote

Because of his disregard for property rightsdonations to Democrats, and strong support for President Obama in 2008, Donald Trump doesn’t have much cred with grassroots conservatives.

But in the wake of his controversial appearance at CPAC, he seems to have won over at least one influential conservative ally in the form of talk radio star Dana Loesch.

That tweet was retweeted by Loesch:

Loesch was one of the few people who attended Trump’s CPAC press conference.

Her husband, Chris, was there too, and was impressed by Trump’s performance:

As for the great ratings of Trump’s show, well…

Friends will just have to agree to disagree on this one. Twitchy founder/CEO Michelle Malkin takes a different view.

I may be a liberal, but unlike Donald Trump, I HAVE A RING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-Mark Cuban, the anti-Trumpster

  • tjcuzns

Trump is a shameless fraud. 100 years ago he would have sold snake oil. He also would have been tarred and feathered in every town he went to.

    • $23629333

“100 years ago” someone would have shot that thing on his head.

      • tjcuzns

You mean that thing is still alive.

I admire both Michelle and Dana…
I have my own opinions about Trump, but instead of commenting…
I’m just going to pop a bowl of popcorn and sit back and watch the fireworks…

    this could get ugly…

    • Love of Country

As well it should, lol. How many GOP hopefuls did he hold hostage last year …. all of them? He would rip them all to pieces in the media until they all came one by one to Trump Towers to kiss his ring in front of the cameras and ask/grovel for his endorsement. Then, the minute they left, Trump would go on Greta or wherever TV cameras were (his office) to announce some candidate just came by T.T. to ask for his endorsement, and then the Donald would say a plethora of nice things about them after totally ripping them for weeks on end just prior. An unbelievably shameless distraction and quite revolting and disingenuous, I might add. I just can’t stand backstabbing, manipulative people like that, never mind we were all trying our very best to choose a person to run the country at the time.

The thing that bothered me most about him always going on TV to announce which candidates came by his office to ask for his endorsement and which ones who didn’t is that they came by only to keep him from ripping them to pieces in the media, not because they earnestly sought his guidance and approval as he would always suggest to the cameras. He would either imply or outright state that they all came by to see him because they deeply respected him when in fact few, if any, really did.

The whole dishonest charade/dog and pony show made me sick. (yuk!)

      I second your opinion!

By the end, this piece kinda loses any substance it had as the creator of the website is featured wining about something pretty irrelevant.

Dear Twitchy, I’m still mad Trump said something mean about me and he still hasn’t apologized.

  • Love of Country

Donald J Trump ….. the frequently cold, narcissistic bull who always brings his own china shop. We all know he had a couple of good messages for the GOP last year but who didn’t? The sum of his parts bother me. He’s too often a crass, vindictive backstabber who I suspect appeals mostly to self absorbed troglodytes, brutes and boors …. but that’s just my opinion and clearly there are exceptions. That behavior is great for a TV Boardroom but really just has no place in GOP politics, IMHO.

  • Sons of Reagan

Wait – Shouldn’t Michelle be going after Dana Loesch – Dana is the one promoting Trump – what, “Conservative” girls can’t criticize other “Conservative” girls – sounds like a Liberal Playbook!

    • Hiraghm

Actually this may be vindication for me… I got blocked by Loesch because I tweeted her my doubts about born-again (from Democrats) Republicans.

  • JoeMyGodNYC

Dana Loesch first came to my attention via that clip from her radio show in which she literally *screamed* at a caller that “If you support gay marriage YOU DON’T LOVE JESUS!” Haven’t paid her any mind since.

    • wwbdinct

Yet you just did pay her mind. LMAO! Still trolling huh, hot stuff?

    • Hiraghm

did you ever have any to spare?

      • Stone Bryson

OK, that there’s funny, I don’t care who you are…

    • jeanbean14

Dana Loesch has a great radio show.

      • David Harrison

        Her and Tammy Bruce too.

    • jeanbean14

I don’t believe she screamed at a caller or said that.
However, Jesus did say, “If you love me, keep my commandments.” And he condemned homosexual acts.

      • JoeMyGodNYC

Just checked and you are right, she did NOT say that. She said: “You hate Christ” not “you don’t love Jesus.” Here’s the clip: http://equalitymatters.org/emtv/201207250006

        • E Quilibrate

For not payin’ her any mind, ya sure got a lot ta say about ‘er.

You act as if old institutions are obsolete simply because they’re old and everything new makes perfect sense. You probably prefer Lil
          Wayne to Chuck Berry.

          • JoeMyGodNYC

No opinion on Chuck Berry. Lil Wayne – I’ve heard OF him, but don’t know his music. I prefer mid-70s R&B.

That goes for that old Constitution thing too! Anything that is truth, scares liberals. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 is pretty clear about what God has condemned.

          • blueniner

            LOL……love Chuck Berry……..

im glad people are realizing this about donald trump! in 2007 conservatives were just so desperate in need for someone to run that i remember many people jumping on this frauds’s bandwagon. lets not forget mitt getting off the plane in vegas to do a photoshoot with him with donalds plane in the background. lets just start ignoring him now!

I warned him to lay off of Ms Malkin. Apparently he heeded my advice, cause I didn’t see her tearing him a new one :)

  • Stone Bryson

You all should really check Dana’s Twitter feed right about now. She’s a little agitated with the ‘crack-reporting’ here at Twitchy… and she does have a point. I could say more, but she’s already said it better than I can.

  • Elliott Davis

Even as you folks label Trump the Worst_Republican_Ever, that still makes him 7 to 10 times as wonderful as the best Demcrat you can find. Sorry but its true, so maybe you should save your sniping for a constructive place ?

  • Maxx

I think it’s quite possible to like Dana, love Michelle and despise Trump.

Maybe I’m a conservative party of one in that regard. Hell, I dunno.

  • Cruz2016!!!

Well I love Dana….Malkin irritated me during the Republican primaries with her smearing of Newt…and Donald…well if he hates Obama…he’s ok in my book!
