Liberal journalism professor Jeff Jarvis whines about lack of skepticism toward Pope Francis

So now liberals are suddenly concerned about the lack of skepticism in the media. For over four years, journalists have fawned relentlessly over Barack Obama. Where has this outrage from the left been?

  • Wroemance

    Jeff who?

  • TugboatPhil

For over four years, journalists have fawned relentlessly over Barack Obama.

It’s actually been since his DNC speech in 2004, but who’s counting?

  • Steve_J

He teaches journalism, he should know where it went.

Fast and Furious no problem. Benghazi deaths no problem, purposely exploiting defense/military cuts and blaming sequester for it no problem, breaking constitutional requirements (senate budgets) no problem. But the excitement of a new spiritual leader who stands on principle? WHERE’S THE SCRUTINY??

  • Richard Jefferies

Nope, no journalism, but plenty of ridiculously rhetorical questions there Jeff Jarvis. I’m still here waiting for some skepticism on Benghazi or Fast and Furious.

    • Brett McMicken

i’m sure he agrees with hillary: at this point, what difference does it make?

  • $2346491

Ohh… Someone is sad that the press has a new favorite shiny object to drool over. However, Papa Francisco actually deserves the favorable press he’s getting.

  • Brett McMicken

    Is there journalism anywhere here?

yes, it is firmly wedged up obama’s backside.

  • Jack Deth

The left HATES it when confronted by someone who cannot be bullied, intimidated,

bought or fraudulently voted out of office.

Good thing I have a Brain-I-Ac Vac to clean up all of those messy exploding liberal heads. Hamsters seem to like them.

  • TocksNedlog

And, of course, when a liberal says “skeptical” they mean that they’re suspicious that the new Pope might *GASP* uphold the faith and tradition of the Catholic Church. Heavens!!!

  • notenoughtime

Javis’ title would suggest that he was a professional – hardly. No wonder those graduating with a journalism degrees are not professional and treat newsworthy items as juveniles!
