@BarackObama tweets reminder to ‘severe conservatives’ trying to repeal Obamacare

We’ve been told that Organizing for Action is an “independent organization” that just happens to run the @BarackObama Twitter account — from which the president himself will occasionally tweet, by the way. Those tweets are signed “bo,” so today’s friendly reminder is likely just OFA using the president’s signature to stick it to those “severe conservatives” trying to roll back progress.

We’re guessing this tweet isn’t part of the president’s “charm offensive.”

Believe us, we don’t need a reminder that Obamacare was upheld: we get that in our pay stubs each week.

  • grais

Good God, what kind of a dumbass kiddie signature is that?!?
When are we going to get some adults in DC?

    • AMartel

I was thinking the same thing. It turns the first letter of his last name into a “null” sign. Zero!

    • Txgirlinnh

It makes my 7 yr olds writing look like calligraphy

      • Clayton B

your kid should stick with it. I hear the White House pays a hundred grand a year for that skill, oh -and dog walking could be his fall back.

        • E Quilibrate

Yes, but I’ll be damned if someone didn’t
          eat the dog. Who’da thunk?

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_IQIGXRVWW5XRETNV25R4FATCOM ssenecal5000

Only 37 percent approve of Obamacare. which means the Democrats must severe alot more than the conservatives.

    • no_more_deceit

He should make his “O” into a smiley face like they do on elementary school test papers.

      • bidentime

He doesn’t think that would be as good as the asscrack he signs with now.

        • Chrissy the Hyphenated

If you tip your head sideways, it looks a lot like ……..

          • mdtljt

Bidentime & Christine – THANK YOU!!! I was pondering that trying to figure out what it looked like…and if you think about it, that’s the PERFECT way for him to sign his name…at least he got one thing right!!!

        • E Quilibrate

Probably bath house code in effect there.

        • arttie

It could have been designed by Code Pink.

      • lainer51

    • almarquardt

I’d be interested to hear what a handwriting analyst would say about it.

      • John Byrd

Here is an analysis of his handwriting: http://www.synthesisnet.com/archive-article10.html

        • almarquardt

Thanks! Some of it was spot on. Other parts, not so much. Then again, as the writer says, it’s hard to analyze only small samples.

        • E Quilibrate

The only thing really wrong w/that analysis is the
fact the man is on his third name. Bounell,
          Soetoro, now Obama.

    • Scott

Give him a break grais! It is hard to write nice when you’re not sure which name you are supposed to be writing.

      • BeautifulAmerica

No breaks for us from him, so none back at ‘im.

        • Scott

I was thinking that there are a few breaks he could get. All of them very painful, very similar to the pain our great country is suffering at his and the administrations hands.

    • http://www.facebook.com/138900508 Patrick Dennehy

I will cut him some slack on this one… Left handed people have horrible handwriting. My signature is just as bad, I stopped trying to even make it legible about 10 years ago :). Circling the b with the O is really lame though…

      • BenInNY

also a bit odd that the O is sketched in. I’m a lefty, have decent handwriting, and O takes one motion not 12. Autopen?

        • Chrissy the Hyphenated

I figured it was cuz they sign those things with umpteen souvenir pens.

      • grais

It’s very legible. The O w/the b in the center is what I really found, well, juvenile. And apparently it’s the way he always signs, if we can judge from the samples link in John Byrd’s link above.
If there were any i’s in his name he’d probably dot them w/hearts.
        a weird, weird man.

      • lcky9

strange I didn’t know till I was 45 that I can write with either hand thought I was right handed all my life.. and I write VERY legible left handed.. fact is my boss is a lefty and is SHOCKED at how clearly and legibly I can write with my left hand .. therefore the only reason a person writes badly with their left hand when they have been left handed their entire life is they DIDN’T take the time to visual the letters BEFORE writing them when learning to write AND are in to much of a hurry now.. practice will correct that problem.. NOT giving up..(left handed people also tend to make being left handed an excuse to be sloppy).

        • http://www.facebook.com/138900508 Patrick Dennehy

I have dyslexic disgraphia, left handed people have it at a MUCH higher rate because it’s a left brain motor function disorder. I’ve worked my ass off my whole life and still have issues but thank you for essentially calling me lazy.

    • Rightturn

Take a breath my man, it’s written with multiple pens.

    • irishgirl91

Always vaguely reminded me of the Zodiacs sig.

    • Matt Rhodes Âû

Hey, don’t make fun of the mentally impaired. (I can say that, I’m autistic.) He can’t help the fact that he has bad handwriting, and signs with crayons…

      • Hiraghm

        I wish I was artistic…

    • E Quilibrate

That is an astute obervation and I believe you’re the only person
to have properly identified it. My congratulations, grais.

    • DallenH

The signature is not smooth because of the practice of signing with multiple pens, starting and stopping to then hand out pens used to sign the bill. Common practice for Presidents.

  • rivers

Just what is a “severe conservative”?
And is it true that Obama has a food tester? That he would actually be so stinking low as to have someone else eat something that he is truly concerned may be poisoned? I mean, I can’t actually know it to be true just becuases some ignorant Dem Senator says it, hoping some reporter will ask Carney about that (not that that would be confirmation that it’s true or false either, but still…).

    • sb36695

If no one would be his “food tester”, would he starve to death?

      • bidentime

Michele would eat it. She’ll eat anything.

        • BeautifulAmerica

Wish I could figure out how to post a photo of her in the (disgraceful) act.

          • grais

There was video of her at a dinner recently at which she had to put up with being seated next to Boehner. She was shoveling it in to beat the band.

            Real classy lady, that one.

          • SJ’s Dad

            Ask and ye shall receive!

  • Maxx

Interesting, what passes for “progress” with these tools. The laundry list of people whose medical premiums have risen dramatically since Barry “came to the rescue” grows daily.

The light at the end of the tunnel you seem to think exists libs? That’s an oncoming train.

Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

  • cgraham77

At least we found one thing he is taking credit for!!!

Will he still a year from now?

    • Catchance

Once everyone’s insurance premiums have gone through the roof, he’ll claim it wasn’t his idea in the first place.

      • cgraham77

It was obviously Bush’s fault anyways 😉

  • Steve_J

Passed based on lies, bribery, and corruption. Also, a preview of the type of healthcare this country can expect.

  • rivers

I’m wracking my brain here, just what was that thing, the Stupak amendment, or something, a letter from Obama, effectively an executive signature that abortion would not be funded under Obamacare….what happened to that? Did the first dog eat it?

    • rennyangel2

IT WAS A SCAM. Sorry for shouting.

      • http://twitter.com/die_mich_zwei Spatial Awareness

And a BIG FAT LIE. Not sorry for shouting. ~_^

The potus is officially a 2nd grader. My apologies to 2nd graders everywhere.

  • rennyangel2

Blame Boehner for the continuation of ocare this year. The Rep. old guard is moss-laden and crusted with age. Boehner could have allowed amendments to the Continuing Resolution, got one on ocare, and had it voted defunded, but he refused amendments and pushed the leg. through to the Sen.
THERE every Rep. voted to defund ocare. We could have had that from the House. It was a Boehner bait and switch–his way the Sen. Reps. get credit for their vote and the nation-crushing Act roars on due to House intransigence.

  • CR

Everyone get a screen capture of that. When people start to realize what is in this horrible piece of legislation and start to get hit with fines and penalties and are SHOCKED that the government is not just giving them free insurance, this needs to be plastered everywhere!!!!!!!!

  • sb36695

Thanks Obama! I am no longer getting a paycheck & I don’t have health insurance! But you’re so great, it’s worth it! My HOPE is that Obama voters suffer the most.

  • gracepmc

What’s next? A reminder to brush your teeth?

Obowmao can tweet nonsense like that above all he wants, it won’t be the first time that a future Supreme Court has righted the wrong of a previous.

obadma’s signature is pornographic. Please remove it from sight.

  • APW

Just like “I won the election (nyah nyah nah nyah nyah).” He is the most inelegant president in my memory, even Jimmy Cornpone Carter and Richard Nixon.

  • Conservaguy

Here’s a reminder to you Mr. President. You’re an idiot!

  • brewerandpatriot

It appears Autopen had one too many adult beverages and started signing things all willy nilly.

  • BeautifulAmerica

This guy’s straight out of middle school. Typical Affirmative Action low-level thinking and humor. Just like Chris Dorner, the result of LAPD’s stupid PC policy. They’re paying for it now, along with the families of those he murdered…as we are in our whole country.

  • NRPax

Mr. President, slavery and prohibition were approved and upheld as well. They don’t seem to be the law of the land nowadays.

  • lainer51

A reminder???? Last time I was talked to like that was when my mother “reminded” me (in high school) to be home before 10 or else!!! What a poor excuse for …………….anything~~~

    • NRPax

I have a feeling you listened to your mother more than Obama though.

  • http://alert-up-usa.com/ AlertUpUSA

How pitifully childish and classlessly inelegant….. And that signature – it’s on everything he had signed…..wow, incredible. :-(((

  • kim

So, aside from finally admitting it is a tax and not a fine, he is acting like a crowing two year old? Well, I guess that’s better than his typical petulent behavior. I wonder if it has occured to him that he won’t be president forever…

  • louisiana_mom

Oh, we know it was upheld… And soon all those sheeple who voted for you will realize it too, when they realize Obamacare only covers euthanasia and abortion…

  • TWG2A

Just when I thought I could not loathe that marxist ahole any more than I do……

  • nc

The reference to “severe conservatives” is a blatant reference to Romney, i.e. the face of the GOP loser. This kind of taunting would be juvenile for a 9 year old. It’s disgraceful for a president.

  • S H

your still a jerk; got it…

Anyway; when is someone going to start selling insurance from some area outside of the Fed’s reach? Indian land? Mexico? As long as it is from a real insurance company I’d consider it. Already told my employer going with the flow won’t cut it (re: if you offer coverage that doesn’t really provide needed care; I’m out of here if someone else has actual real insurance)…

  • AZWarrior

Total child. Obamacare will collapse under it’s own ponderous weight.

  • R0nin

Wow. Ignores the MANY decisions that have gone _against_ O-care, and the MANY cases against it still working their way through the court system, in order to gloat about this one “victory”.

Not to mention that he’s once again ignoring the separation of powers (Congress can defund/repeal), and implying that he can dictate to the Legislative branch. Not to mention that he’s ignoring the will of the people.

    Our worst president, ever.

  • avd911

LOL the ignorance on this site is astounding. Y’all ever heard of da google? http://www.time.com/time/politics/article/0,8599,1974490,00.html

Everyone who stands against Obamacare should change their Twitter names to “Severe Conservative” now in “honor” of our Jackhole-in-Chief.

Once again Obama proves his agenda is more important to him than the fiscal health of the nation. Ca we agree he is the most selfish POTUS ever?

  • bonnieblue2A

Once again Obama proves his agenda is more important to him than the fiscal health of the nation. Can we agree Obama is the most selfish POTUS ever while also being the worst sport, lacking any semblance of humility.

  • brendawatkins

Every time I see his arrogance in action I smile when I remember a verse in the Bible about arrogance… ~ Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. Proverbs 16:18. Read it and weep Obama, you’re time will come.

  • Stephen L. Hall

This same Obama berated the SCOTUS when they correctly ruled on corporate campaign contributions, now cites them when they are completely wrong about the Constitutionality of Obamacare.

And technically, they did not rule that it was Constitutional, they ruled that the individual mandate might be sustained as a tax, but a tax may not be challenged until it is actually imposed. Hence the Constitutionality can not be tested until after 2014. You’d think a Constitutional scholar might know that.
