Despicable: Comedian Lisa Lampanelli calls Elisabeth Hasselbeck a ‘c*nt’

Disgusting.

Hey, for lefty entertainers, it’s always open season on conservative women.

Lampanelli calls herself “Comedy’s Lovable Queen of Mean.” We can’t see anything remotely lovable about her.

What a nasty troll of a woman.

You could have also confused that statement with Michelle Obama.

Or Rick Maddow. Or his female twin Chrissy Hayes! Wow, this is fun! Thanks k-y guy for getting it started all up in heah! Where’s brother-love’s traveling ugly show, Janet “The Man” Napolitano?

          • kyleco

Yeah if there is one thing almost everyone agrees on, it’s that Michelle Obama is an angry, mean, ugly progressive woman with a potty mouth; disgusting and vile. #what?

Not true! Angry, mean, ugly, progressive, disgusting and vile woman, sure. But “potty mouth”? No way man!!

          • $36544368

I gave up reading kyleco’s posts weeks ago…after reading a couple of threads that had His Trollness running through it, I had to go take a blood pressure pill…seriously, NO ONE can be that dense about the various situations (economy, immigration, etc.) in the US right now.

          • kyleco

Please, point me to where I’ve been so “dense”. I practically beg people to show me something with merit or substance (on real discussion, not this one obviously) and NOBODY provides. Ever. I’m sorry that referenced and cited fact gets your blood pressure going. Grab a cool glass of sweet tea, flick on Papa Bear, and I’m sure watching him scream down his guests will soothe you right back into your baseless, vitriol driven FoxNews-pipe-dream of a reality.

          • David McCormick

Well, considering your obsession with Fox News (since you keep mentioning it over and over), I’m sure that your “baseless, vitriol driven Mainstream media-pipe-dream of a reality” isn’t exactly rooted in fact either. While I think that both sides tend to be ridiculously stubborn and blinded by ideology (Huffington Post users?), people in general really need to look at where the other person is coming from on their views.

          • kyleco

It’s not so much my obsession as an accurate portrayal of the facts. What percentage of people here do you think watch Fox News? And of that group, what percentage do you think watch it exclusively? Get real, here. Michelle Malkin was made on Fox News and continues to live and breathe it.

          • $36544368

Dude, I’ve never even watched Fox News. You tried that same stupid argument with me months ago, and I gave you the same answer…and truthfully, you actually are quite entertaining…you don’t get my blood pressure up at all…in fact, I have low blood pressure…90/50 almost all the time. I don’t drink sweet tea, have no idea who “Papa Bear” is, and I still think you’re a troll.

          • Grumpa Grumpus

            “Papa Bear” is Col. Hogan…
            I thought everyone knew that.
Don’t know why that’s brought into the discussion, or what it has to do w/current circumstances though.
            ;~)}

          • $36544368

Thanks for the info Grumpa…but at the risk of sounding ignorant, are you talking about the Col. Hogan from “Hogan’s Heros”? That’s the only Col. Hogan I’ve ever heard about…and if indeed you are, I still don’t understand why His Trollness (kyleco) would have referenced it in his reply to me. If it isn’t the same Col. Hogan, then I definitely need to be enlightened.

          • Grumpa Grumpus

Yes sir, I was referring to “Hogan’s Heroes”… you don’t sound at all ignorant, btw. It was a throw-away remark (I was feeling whimsical…)

And I didn’t get the reference, either… (but I’ve been “hit & miss” on the boards lately).

I meant it more as a snide comment about your sparring troll than as info to you.

I’ve noticed that the “Gullables” — those people who gravitate towards the Progressive-flavored philosophies — often have difficulty separating what is within the realm of possibility, the realm of the likely, and the realm of make-believe. From my personal experience every person I’ve met who’s had trouble distinguishing movies & television from reality had at least one foot firmly planted in the Proggie camp.

To translate the above long-winded explanation: I think Sir Troll was babbling, and commented at the same level of seriousness.

          • kyleco

Nope. Papa Bear is Bill O’Reilly. I’m sorry I was so cryptic.

          • Grumpa Grumpus

            Who?

Oh, that loud mouth? Only watched him a couple of times some years ago… couldn’t stand him.

Can’t really explain why he grates on me — except it’s perhaps that, to me, he seems more Opportunist than Principled — though he loudly places himself in the latter camp.

          • kyleco

Nah. Bill O is Papa Bear.

          • David McCormick

Why would you let someone like Kyle affect you like that anyway…they simply exist on the internet to start trouble and they get a cheap thrill out of it because their own lives most likely are not that great to begin with.

          • $36544368

I wasn’t entirely serious…I was basically stating how exasperating a person (read = troll) with nothing better to do can frustrate a person who does have a life and something to contribute. Truthfully, Kyle actually makes me laugh because his posts are really ridiculous. He reminds me of that character on “Seinfeld” that Elaine falls for from the video store…only to find out that he’s 15 years old…Kyle reminds me of a teenager who thinks he knows it all.

          • kyleco

I honestly can’t believe you people buy into this nonsense. It’s not about trolling…at all…considering nothing I’ve ever said here is trying to get a rise or a joke or anything along those lines. I, quite literally, cannot believe you people buy into this nonsense that’s posted here.

          • $36544368

It sure seems to bother you…hope you’re not losing sleep over it, because no one here is buying your BS either.

          • kyleco

How do I start trouble by asking questions and challenging what I consider to be some of the most ridiculous statements I’ve ever seen? I mean let’s be honest, there’s no way I can be more ridiculous than the stuff that Twitchy itself posts…

          • kyleco

Again, your blinding intellect and English mastery are too much to compete with. This round goes to you.

How about this one, @WilliamAmos:disqus ?

          • David McCormick

I don’t say “liberal” to describe those who have opposite views of conservatives…I just use the term “leftist” because I believe that the left is neither “liberal” nor “progressive.”

          • http://youtu.be/efJUFlD1S8Q DaleVM14W

They aren’t just “leftists”, but are “extremist far-leftist”. Reading Karl Marx’s books is to them like Christians reading the Bible. “The Communist Manifesto”and works from the “Frankfort School” is the loony left’s “sacred scriptures”.

I think Lisa Lampanelli is voting our comments down haha. I agree- it’s the most disgusting word you can use for a woman. I don’t care if you consider yourself an “edgy” comedian- there is no use for that word.

Not a fan of hers but to be fair she calls a lot of women that, not just conservative women. That being said it doesn’t excuse her using that word.

  • $23089169

I watched her on The Apprentice last year and have never observed such an angry, repulsive, unhappy woman since I stopped watching the hags on The View 10 years ago. She harassed and harangued the younger women out of jealousy and the audience absolutely hated her (so did most the celebrities on the show).

    • JWSR49

  • Jack Deth

    I’m confused.

    Let me get this straight.

We have a liberal, Anti Semite, supposed Italian American (Born Lisa Lampugnale of Trumbull, Conn). Whose entire sad, unfunny schtick is boasting about her sexual proclivities and penchant for loose, rough, promiscuous sex with African American males.

And she has the audacity to use the foulest language to bad mouth others?

    Gutter, meet Ms. Lampanelli!

          • leftwingthom

            naawwww…
            this is more fun….

          • David McCormick

I don’t defend the people who use those words here…they don’t represent me anyway. But maybe the reason I don’t find jokes with bad words to be funny is due to the fact that it shows that the “comedian” in question can’t use their own intellectual wit to be funny without having to use words that are marks of the uneducated. Got it?

          • kyleco

Nope. I don’t “got it.” Please share with me the comedians you respect. You know, the smart ones that don’t use foul language and have a superior level of “intellectual wit.” Who are they?

          • Grumpa Grumpus

Bob Hope, Danny Kaye, Jerry Lewis, Red Skelton, Lucy, Johnathon Winters, Mary Tyler Moore…
The list is rather long, but there’s a start.

In fact, there’s a somewhat famous comment Bob Hope made when asked what he thought of the upcoming comedic style that used insults and profanity. He said that those types of laughs — that spring from the audience being nervous and/or embarrassed are the the mark of an inept or lazy performer. Anyone can get those laughs. If a comedian settles for that that they lack respect for the craft.

I find myself in agreement with Mr. Hope.

          • kyleco

Ah, so the only true comedy comes from 50 years ago. Got it. I wonder what people who were your age thought of those folks when they were popular…

          • Grumpa Grumpus

I’m 97, so I’m actually the of the generation you’re wondering about.

We were glad that the youngsters were doing so well.

          • kyleco

Huh? Half the people you mentioned are as old or older than you, so I’m not sure “youngsters” would be how you were describing them at the height of their popularity. Neither here nor there, none of the people you mentioned are even remotely relevant today (not to say they weren’t very successful, by any means). I’d even go so far as to say none of those folks would have a career, with those “older” comedic styles, in the entertainment business in the modern era. I would relate it to the music industry in that the culture/style develops and changes to the point that, while popular and successful, artists from 50-100 years ago may have paved the way, but they’re no longer relevant in the current scene.

          • v1cious

This is what’s wrong with the Tea Party. Every time you try to claim you speak for American values, you gotta go and show how old you are. The 50’s are dead, We’ve moved on. Adapt or die. I see now you’re 97, so I guess it’s more or less the latter.

          • Grumpa Grumpus

And probably sooner rather than later.
            Cancer, you know.

I will point out that the point of intelligence is not to let the World shape us, but the other way around.

Adapt doesn’t mean to seek sewage. I can tell you — from personal observation — that the spiel you youngsters have been fed about the late 1940s to early 1960s is mostly untrue.

The “Ozzie & Harriet” worldview did exist and covered most of America… not Hollywood, but reporters worked hard to hide Hollywood’s secrets.

Have things improved under your “Adapt or Die” policy?
Has any aspect of crime declined even an iota? Please don’t try to argue that “the reporting is better”, because that meme falls apart in so many ways when openly examined.

Pregnant children (defined as pre-15 yr olds) didn’t happen (it would have been huge news because of rarity) and post-16 yr olds pregnant was so rare that the social negatives caused the often caused families to uproot and move!

That’s just a single aspect of the damage the “adapt or die” viewpoint of Progressivism has caused.

There are better ways to perfect society than tossing everything away. You only do that when chaos is the desired end. Historically chaos doesn’t last long, soon it is replaced by despotism.

I’m not sad to go. I grieve for my descendants.

          • v1cious

Sorry to hear about that. Let’s look at the bigger picture. Of course there was a more Ozzie & Harriet America, because there was no worldview at all. Up until the 60’s, we had little to no diversity. Keep in mind we were coming off of World War 2.

What you consider “Sewage” is more or less a different way of thinking. You want every culture to subscribe to the white-picket-fence-leave-it-to-beaver-nuclear-family way of living. That’s just not going to happen.

        • leftwingthom

i think calling someone a cunt isn’t on par with using racial slurs, or half the things Ann Coulter says. Your rhetoric is dangerous to the country. Our swear words are not. The world is no longer an innocent, Christian place. Get over it.

          • https://twitter.com/Webnetcity webnetcity

Let me guess, you’re the one who stirs the kool-aid right?

Your words don’t impress me lefty…
            You wanna impress me?
come down here to Texas and tell us to our faces to get over it :)

          • djshawman

Are you kidding me right now? Women have been oppressed for years. Around the world women have acid thrown on them, are shot, raped, etc..simply because they wish to learn, drive a car, or have dishonored a man.You have the nerve to tell me that calling a woman a name isn’t on par with a racial slur. WOW.

      • aegean1

How was that comment comedic? What was so funny about it? Swearing for the sake of being edgy isn’t funny. It’s lazy, unoriginal, and boring.

        • kyleco

It’s possible you don’t get the joke? It’s also possible you just don’t find it funny. Do we need to run everything by you first to determine it’s humor value or do you think it’s plausible that different people find different things humorous?

          • JWSR49

Hey Boulder boy, (should’ve guessed) I speak the way I did way way back in the Marine Corps in the ’60’s. Neither you, nor any other PC lib is gonna censor me. I fought for guys like you to say any dumbass thing you want. So you leave my speech the fuck alone. I don’t and wont ever bend to the PC lefty loons. And, I got your “sweetheart” hangin’! But then, you probably like that.

          • kyleco

I’m confused; I *feel* like you were trying to insult me, but then you went on to defend my point and be on my side of this argument?

          • leftwingthom

            Yeah, really.

          • Calcat36

How about a politician trying to be a comedian? Didn’t you liberal stooges blow your mind over MACACA? Useful idiots you leftists are!

          • David McCormick

I think comedy is supposed to be “subjective” Kyle…duh. He has a right to his opinion just like you do here. I didn’t find what she said to even be remotely hilarious, but maybe I just don’t have the sense of humor that appeals to the crass, unclassy, low intelligence viewership that finds this kind of “comedy” “funny.”

          • kyleco

Another person that agrees with me? I mean aren’t you literally restating my point and just inserting a lot more opinion about THIS joke? I agree with you. This is my point; what’s being said HERE is that this joke is borderline criminal and nobody should be allowed to find it humorous. As far as I’m concerned, yet again, this is NOT news. Why, for the love, do people (e.g. Malkin/Twitchy) feel like this needs to be brought to light for all of these people that never would have seen it? This is where I get very confused.

      • http://youtu.be/efJUFlD1S8Q DaleVM14W

        She’s not a comedian, she’s a mudshark.

        • kyleco

I had to look that one up. Classy.

    • http://twitter.com/kyleco kyleco

In this case we see a comedian making a comedic comment. How are you interpreting this as some deep, intellectual event?

  • https://twitter.com/Webnetcity webnetcity

whatever is in a person’s heart will eventually come out their mouth and reveal the true nature of their character and allow you a glimpse at the condition of their soul.

  • Steve_J

Saying all the naughty words as an adult that a person couldn’t say as a child only makes that person look childish.

    • http://twitter.com/kyleco kyleco

Turns out this was a comedic tweet, not a line from a political debate. Interestingly enough a large percentage of comedy is childish, that’s part of what makes things funny; the immaturity and ridiculousness.

      • Calcat36

Liberals are funny jokes! As are progressives, or whatever name they call themselves.

        • kyleco

          Neat!

          • djshawman

“Trip, trap, trip, trap! ” went the bridge.

“Who’s that tripping over my bridge?” roared the troll .

      • David McCormick

Not that her saying that really surprises me (considering what modern comedy counts as nowadays) but if people think that this kind of “comedy” is “funny” then I think it says a lot about their intelligence and self-esteem…just thought I would include that.

        • kyleco

So let’s extrapolate: Louis CK isn’t funny. Jerry Seinfeld isn’t funny. Daniel Tosh is DEFINITELY not funny. Doug Benson, Brian Regan, Lewis Black, Dennis Miller, Jon Stewart, Will Ferrell, Robin Williams, George Carlin…. All of these people are unfunny simpletons; no intellect. No wit. No creativity.

          Are you kidding me?

      • djshawman

OMG you’re right! Her use of the C word is almost as funny as jokes about rape….ahhh degrading women-.a liberal past time since…well the beginning of time.

        • kyleco

I’m sure you’re equally as offended when a racial stereotype is used as the basis for a joke? What about people from certain areas of the country? “You might be a redneck…”? That’s all really offensive, right? What about people from OTHER countries? ooo… What about Arabs? Muslims? Are they free game or do you stick up for them when jokes are made…? What about politicians you don’t like? It’s ok when they’re the butt of a joke, right?

Have you ever watched a “roast”? Where a bunch of comedians get together and just say the meanest, filthiest, rudest, crudest things about each other? To each others faces? They’re all fine with it. Because that’s what they do for a living. Jokes. Putting people in the hot seat. Roasting them. On second thought I don’t recommend you watch because I’m sure your heart would just break at all the awful things they’re saying to each other because you’re just that much of a humanitarian.

  • Steve_J

      You’re onto something there Stephen.

    • kyleco

Is the irony of using the word “Objective” in the title found in choosing three of the most prolific conservatives?

      • Stephen L. Hall

Oft times, the objective truth will show that one side is correct. The fact is, you fail to understand either the meaning of the word objective or the meaning of the word irony.

        • kyleco

Irony: The expression of one’s meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect.

Objective: Not influenced by personal feelings or opinions in considering and representing facts.

          Nope, that’s what I thought.

    • wwbdinct

Oh Kyle. Just because you keep using personal attacks on Conservatives and keep getting deleted, there’s no need to post under a different name. Just be more civil. Is that so hard to do?

Stupid comment. Stupid tweet. Stupid waste of time to spend precious life moments pondering too much of what a rather poor, unfunny, self centered, very loud comic says about pretty much anything.

    • http://twitter.com/thetugboatphil TugboatPhil

Here’s the deal, thom. Twitchy is NOT a NEWS website. It’s a collection of what famous and not so famous people are sending out on their Twitter accounts. If it’s on Twitter, it’s fair game for being included.

But, But, Bush made them type that stoopid shiznit! It was a botched joke!

NOTICE TO ALL LIBERALS: Since a liberal has deemed a certain body part to be politically correct, we must, in order to keep consistent, refer to the First Wookie, moochelle ozero as the FCOTUS from now on. This is no joke. This is acceptable liberal terminology. Failure to comply will have you reported to attackwatch.com.

    That is all. Carry on…

  • leftwingthom

I find the fact that we’re having this conversation here funny. I spend most of my commenting time on huffpost, where everyone is much more polite and upbeat and jolly. Here, everyone’s so angry and demeaning and into belittling liberals. Very few people on HuffPo say anything bad about conservatives, even when it’s due, just individual ones. So it seems to me that you folks are really the perpetrators.

    • kyleco

Oh these boards are gold mines. I’d highly recommend the recent Bill O’Reilly shouting at Alan Colmes post… Any of the SXSW posts… They’re good.

    • Calcat36

Go back to your huffpo. Seems like the “comedian” who tweeted the vulgarity towards another female who is conservative is, well, disgusting. As are the liberal leftist attempts to minimize it, like you.

Huffpo is waiting, they are a moonbat short of a crap load!

      • kyleco

Does this guy get carte blanche because they seem to support your side, @WilliamAmos:disqus ?

    • Netmilsmom

      Which Huffpo are YOU reading?
Last year I went over and read a lot. I felt that I needed both sides.
The poo flew back and forth. It was the same as any other forum.
      Have they cleaned it up?

    • David McCormick

“Everyone is much more polite and upbeat and jolly” at the Huffington Post? Are you kidding me? I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to wash my eyes out when I’ve read the “comment” sections on their “news articles.” Unless they’ve cleaned it up over there, I take that observation of yours with the tiniest grain of salt.

“Very few people on HuffPo say anything bad about conservatives”…once again, this made me laugh. Refer to above paragraph please.

For the record, I don’t give the commenters here any excuse either…I’m sure that the Twitchy comment sections are just like every other comment section on the internet. You just decided to come over here and post that because it validates your own personal view of how YOU think the opposition is.

    • daeghrefn

Hey, isn’t that pretty much the crowd that turned big bad El Rushbo’s “slut” comment into a “GOP WAR ON WIMMIN!!!!!” ??

  • regmgr

Is it my imagination or is Lisa Lampanelli really ugly. Just another example of today’s liberal woman. They have to be mean to get noticed.

    • kyleco

Call someone really ugly. Call *THEM* mean. #wellplayed

      • daeghrefn

Nah, buddy boy. Just playing by your “rules”, which seem to change depending on the target. Calling a conservative woman a “c*nt* is “acceptable”, or at worst a tempest in a teapot. But let’s see your reaction if Limbaugh were to refer to Michelle Obama as, say, the “Gilded Sasquatch”. Or, say, call some young woman begging for free contraceptives a “slut”.

        • kyleco

Are you finally admitting that Rush Limbaugh is nothing more than a comedian? I agree with you, if that’s the case; nothing he says should be taken seriously.

  • lainer51

until now, didn’t realize it was possible to be fugly both inside and out!

  • Calcat36

This “comedian” is full of another funny word that sent the liberals into orbit: MACACA!

  • trixiewoobeans

Honestly, these “entertainers” just follow the herd…they all say what they heard somebody else say, etc., etc. It would never occur to them to actually check something out. Not an original, well- formulated thought or idea among them. They imagine they’re cutting-edge and always “pushing the envelope,” but really they’re just blindly, obediently following the Hollywood herd.

  • Kevin Roe

Hey, wait just a minute here. I thought conservatives were the haters! Somebody has some ‘splainin’ to do! Lisa, you’re a sad waste of space. Intolerant, foul, unfunny… why, a typical liberal!

    • http://youtu.be/efJUFlD1S8Q DaleVM14W

What else can you expect from a mudshark?

  • David McCormick

I don’t know why this even makes news, considering what modern “comedy” has morphed into…all this does is give disturbed people like Lisa unnecessary attention. Are we really surprised that someone would say this? I’ve heard lots of people (sadly, conservatives as well) use the F-bomb and other nasty, sexually-related stuff too. But all the sudden people are freaking out because she said the “C” word? I think the lesson to be learned here (at least to me) is that everybody, no matter what political side you may be on, should use better language and avoid saying things that make you stupid and uneducated. As far as Lisa is concerned, I find her to be a disturbed woman of low self-esteem. Sad.

Because, it seems, that only liberal comedians use that word towards conservative women. Remember Bill Maher calling Sarah Pailn the “c” word? And why use such a demeaning word anyway, whether in comedy or not?

  • wwbdinct

Only filthy liberals use that word and you all would be having a nervous breakdown if any conservative called Michelle O. that word. It’s sexist and degrading to women and because you’re using it here with such abandon, there’s no doubt you use it in daily conversation. I’m sure you call your mother that because it’s so “hysterical”. Pig!

  • kyleco

Explain to me why it’s ok for people on here to relentlessly call people “retards” (libtard, etc) but “cunt” is off limits? I mean I guess I didn’t realize there were rules in the name-calling game…I thought it was all equally irreverent.

  • leftwingthom

Well you’re forgetting most comedians are liberals. Probably because liberals actually have a sense of humor.

  • cgraham77

Well, anyone would have to be seriously stoned to touch that.

  • JWSR49

Do you even know what retarded means? It was a normally acceptable word until political correctness ran amok.

  • cgraham77

Ugh! I’ve been censored! Was it because I said the word p*nis? Geez, it’s anatomy, not a curse word!

ETA: Wow, hilarious. Somebody thumbs-downing our comments when they don’t even know what the discussion was about because the original comment was deleted! LOL! Obviously one of her braindead “fans.”

  • Jeannie Cory Arnold

It’s like saying darn is the equivalent of f*%k…….???

  • David McCormick

This is one post where I agree with you on. I think both sides need to chill and ALL name-calling is irreverent.

  • kyleco

Which group of people are you stereotyping and dehumanizing when you say “darn”, again?

  • kyleco

So you’d agree with me, then, that all of the people here using the terms “retard”/”libtard” with reckless abandon are also being degrading and disgusting?

  • Calcat36

Wow, he deleted… Would loved to see the comment! Semper Fi jarhead!

  • kyleco

Speaking of, mods…what’s your deal? Do you read the post or just auto-delete because it has words that might be offensive? Political Correctness run amok, I guess, huh @jwrightsr:disqus

  • WilliamAmos

Can you had a debate without making it a list compiled by George Carlin ?

  • JWSR49

If the “what’s your deal” is to me, I’m just sayin’ ..you say the words you’re comfortable with and I’ll say what I want to say.

  • kyleco

They’re not swear words, darling. That’s the point. The point is context. They are words that having different meanings based on use. I’m not swearing at anyone, I’m not calling them these things; I’m using WORDS as an example.

    Fag: A cigarette.

    Gay: Happy.

    Bitch: A female dog.

If someone is allowed to use the word “retard” and not be deleted because of your hyper-sensitive censorship, then I should be able to make an example of other words. I’ve NEVER seen you or other mods delete the dozens of posts wherein people call me all kinds of offensive things. Be consistent.

  • kyleco

I’d recommend coming down off your trip before you frolic around on message boards.

  • kyleco

This is all just fine, right @WilliamAmos:disqus

  • WilliamAmos

If you are trying to argue that you can say whatever the hell you want because of context that is not true.

  • WilliamAmos

Yes I allow political comments like Libtard and Teabagger go past. Because they are about a political viewpoint. Personal attacks are not.

  • Calcat36

Liberals have a lack of morals, and/or self-control. That’s why we get to skewer them for saying the stupid things you call “comedy!”

  • David McCormick

If this counts as “humor” then I’m glad the left doesn’t consider me having a sense of humor then. Personal attacks under the guise of “comedy” is shallow and just gives bullies an excuse to act however they want.

  • Calcat36

Usually you liberal leftist trolls start with the name calling first, out of diversity, tolerance, and losing the argument. I find that the Wookie mooch is a great FCOTUS.

  • wwbdinct

    Hah! You got deleted. Good!

  • kyleco

Please show me where I used foul words as a personal attack and this one is all yours.

  • kyleco

Pretty sure “hell” in that context is a swear word. Turns out context matters. #oops

  • WilliamAmos

This thread is about a liberal using the “C” word about a conservative. You are trying to argue that it is OK to use that word because of context. Therefore you are advocating a personal attack.

  • kyleco

What you cannot do is show me where *I* used any “swear” words to personally attack someone, yet that was your justification for deleting my posts. Regardless of your misinterpretation of what I’m advocating or not, your reasoning for deleting is inconsistent and wrong.

  • kyleco

    Intriguing.

  • kyleco

So this is ok, @WilliamAmos:disqus ?

  • kyleco

Well I can’t help but agree with you, except that I never deleted my own comments. Notice the lengthy conversation with the mod (unless he deleted that, too).

  • kyleco

Of course I did, this place is run by people who “think” like you, not me.

  • wwbdinct

    Well then….. Buh bye!

  • kyleco

Good luck with your hypocrisy! It’s been a pleasure!

  • David McCormick

In reality, “context” is just a lame excuse for someone to be as nasty and foul as they want to be. Politicians anyone? A swear word is a swear word Kyle…if you find nothing wrong with Lisa using swear words to attack someone under the guise of “comedy” then you are basically giving bullies an excuse. I thought the left was against bullying? Remember? Political correctness is a two way street buddy.

  • djshawman

“Trip, trap, trip, trap! ” went the bridge.

“Who’s that tripping over my bridge?” roared the troll .

  • David McCormick

Sorry Kyle, but your “hypocrisy” is showing again.

  • kyleco

sure is. Certainly not the person who lambastes someone for name calling and then fills their responses with their own name calling time and time again. That person is just intellectually superior, right?

  • kyleco

Right, and if the half a dozen posts that the mod deleted were still there, you’d see that my argument has NOTHING to do with saying if it is OK or not to use the word under the guise of comedy, but the fact that the name-slinging hypocrites here freely use words like “retard”, etc, against individuals on this very thread and that’s somehow deemed ok. “C WORD?” inexcusable. “Retard?” Oh that one’s fine. In fact my argument lines up perfectly with what you just said: you’re either ok with it or you aren’t. If you aren’t then don’t be a hypocrite and call people names in defense of NOT using the word at large here…

  • v1cious

Oh right, cause Dennis Miller doesn’t swear and demean women. Adam Carolla?
