"Lie low at first, then slow roll any legislation until It dies" strategy of NRA; happening exactly as planned. Pity the soon-to-be slain.

On Monday, Bette Midler tweeted that she was losing hope that a ban on assault rifles would make its way through the “cowards” in the Senate. It seems the NRA is responsible for the Senate’s inaction, and lives are at stake. At least some of Midler’s followers, though, would rather these victims-to-be had their own firearms and not her pity.
@BetteMidler give them a gun and let them defend themselves #notavictimanymore—

@BetteMidler @ThatLadyLips @bamaredskins @moon3077 NRA showed respect for dead children, not like politicians who pounced on it like snakes—

@Honor_C0de @BetteMidler @ThatLadyLips @bamaredskins @moon3077 More SAVED than slain, if you study the statistics of FBI and others.—

Like Colorado’s Sen. Evie Hudak, Midler seems to think statistics prove that disarming men and women is in their own best interest, even if they don’t realize it. Shouldn’t citizens be able to decide for themselves what’s in their best interest?
