Newly delivered Benghazi docs might include interviews with survivors

Fox News’ Chad Pergram reported last night that a new batch of documents on the Benghazi, Libya, terrorist attacks had been delivered to the Senate Intelligence Committee earlier in the week, albeit with whole pages of text redacted. A second request brought forth more complete documents, and CBS News’ Sharyl Attkisson tweeted tonight that among those papers might be the long-sought transcripts of the FBI’s interviews with survivors of the attack.

As Pergram’s source suggested, the documents also include emails sent back and forth regarding the administration’s evolving “talking points” — which reportedly included a change from “attack” to “demonstration” — along with messages sent back and forth between Libya and Washington.

Senators have yet to review the documents, though.

Yes, serious questions still remain.

  • Love of Country

And this is what Barack Owebamao calls the most transparent administration in the history of this country …. unbelievable!

    • BeautifulAmerica

Transparent as in a magic show. He’s even said himself to believe the opposite of what he says.

  • Maxx

Sharyl Attkisson gets it. There is something stirring at CBS. Has the tide turned? We can only hope.

    Keep on ’em Sharyl…

    …Mr. Wallace would be proud.

    • J. Cox

I wish I shared your optimistic view, however,I think only a few will break free and actually report the news. The vast majority I fear, are too far entrenched into their ideological mindsets to do anything different from where they are now.

    • Garth Haycock

I expecting to learn that by the time Ms. Attkisson is able to see the documents, they will be redacted to the point that the only words visible will be the letterhead.

      • ChrisInToronto

Plus a few articles and, of course, ALL gerunds!

        • Weygand

    • yahneverknow

(I know which Mr. Wallace you’re referencing, but I can’t help my blip of huh?: Marcellus Wallace knows Ms. Attkisson?)

  • J. Cox

Sad part is,so many “Americans” are just fine with this cover-up.They want this to be seen as nothing more than politics instead of incompetence.Thank you daily show voters for helping turn so many minds into sludge.

    • Joe W.

As long as they get their Obamaphones and other gubbermunt cheese, they be happy…..

      • Sasha Williams

You mean Bush phones? Because that’s who started that program. Obama didn’t invent welfare.

        • Squirrel!

Um, that program started under Reagan & was for landline phones until 2008 which yes, was Bush. However, they didn’t provide the phone when it applied to landlines. Now, they hand out the phones as well which some people turn around & sell then go get another one. Way more subject to abuse & fraud this way.

        • SpinMeNot

Is anybody else hearing a incessant droning noise?

          • Garth Haycock

I hear more of a high-pitched continuous beep.

        • Joe W.

What flavor is Barky’s kool-aid today, Sasha??

        • GoSellCrazySomeplaceElse

No, but he sure is trying to master it. The fact that Obama keeps reaching out to the Mexican Govt. to recruit new ebt recipients in beyond idiotic. If you’re paying taxes you should be upset, if you’re not paying taxes you should be embarassed.

        • mike_in_kosovo

          Ah, that “old, familiar lie”.

          In point of *fact*:

          From :
“SafeLink Wireless was created by TracFone Wireless, Inc. when the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) recently approved the company to offer Lifeline”

          From :
“One of the major providers of the free cell phones—3.8 million subscribers as of late 2011—is Miami-based TracFone Wireless, a company whose president and CEO, Frederick “F.J.” Pollak, has donated at least $156,500 to Democratic candidates and committees this cycle, including at least $50,000 to the Obama campaign.

Pollak’s wife, Abigail, is a campaign bundler for Obama who has raised more than $632,000 for the president this cycle, and more than $1.5 million since 2007. She has personally contributed more than $200,000 to Democratic candidates and committees since 2008.

The Pollak’s have invited the President to their home for a $40,000-per-plate fundraiser event, visited the White House seven times, and Barack Obama even appointed Abigail ‘to serve on the “Commission to Study the Potential Creation of a National Museum of the American Latino.”

TracFone, a direct financial beneficiary of the Lifeline program, receives $10 a month for each subscriber in the form of federal subsidies. The company can make an additional profit selling extra minutes to Lifeline subscribers who exceed their monthly allowance of 250 prepaid minutes.

            (Thank you)

          • BeautifulAmerica

Teachers and Social Workers have been encouraged for years to make sure that every illegal knows about the phones. we are given fliers to distribute. It was supposed to help deaf and elderly, now it helps illegals and drug dealers and EBT squatters. Corruption? Thy name is socialism.

        • Jimni27

B-B-But Bush! The sad thing Sasha is that you and other libs only bothered to regurgitate the talking points that MSM feed you. The program is so wrought with fraud and waste now that it doesn’t even resemble the original program which was started not under Bush, but Reagan. ” In 2008, the program was expanded to support cell phones which quickly escalated the cost of the program. In 2008 the program cost $772 million, but by 2011 it cost $1.6 billion”. BTW- Dems controlled congress in 2008. Do you really think republicans would have voted that in?

        • Hat Whit

Even if you want to blame Bush (and there’s much I’d blame him for) why oh why would you want a president and an administration who not only perpetuates, but elaborates on the crap you hate about Bush? What we have now is not just Bush, but the very worst of Bush on steroids.

        • Lisa Widmer Gemar

No it was not Bush…But if you hate anything Bush and think this is because of Bush why are you ok with it under Obama, Your thinking is not only void of facts but it is void of logic as well. The program may have worked just fine in the beginning but it now full of waste and abuse. According to your way of thinking the current waste and abuse is Bush’s fault…so why not get rid of it then?

  • disqus_e2F2oUH6C7

Sharyl Attkisson has integrity. Hope the truth will be found & othet reporters will take her lead.

  • nc

    They exist?

  • Steve_J

Are these the same documents that were redacted almost to the point of uselessness?

    • SpinMeNot

No, they are the latest set of redacted documents that will be completely useless.

I’ve been saying this 2 days after the attack — we will never know the truth about what happened and why. Anything the liberal-progressive pukes railed against while GWB was in the oval office, will be done 10x as much and denied, or declared justifiable.

      • Ken Jameson

Hang in there SpinMeNot … have a little faith … I know what you’re saying … but, let’s not abandon ship just yet … I believe that this jerk (Barry) is going down … and hard!

        • BeautifulAmerica

Thanks for spreading Hope; we need it desperately.

        • 3seven77

From your comment to God’s ears….

    • JMigyanka

The redacted interviews indicate that obama allowed the death of 4 Americans.

  • Jazzee

we will never KNOW and we should what the survivors have to say
this is such a HUGE deal and obama is getting away with it–no confidence in the GOP anymore they are sheep and have no guts
obama is mentally unbalanced andoh yeah Gallup shows his numbers dropping because he is an incompetent evil man intent on destroying the USA

  • capisce

    have the survivors been redacted?

    • TomJB

No, but they are State department workers. The vast majority of whom will willingly redact themselves in fealty to The One.

  • Gloves Donahue, Jr.

Now Sharyl needs to interview them.

Sharyl, be careful. When you feel it’s time to hide, you know where to go.
