Journo-tool Ezra Klein brings his idiocy to sequester, slams Woodward; You moved the goalpost, rubes!

Facts? “Fact-checker” Ezra Klein doesn’t need no stinkin’ facts! WaPo’s Ezra Klein also doesn’t need to be based in reality either, evidently.

You moved the goalposts, rubes.

Here in DC, we can get a bit buried in Beltway minutia. The ongoing blame game over who concocted the sequester is an excellent example. But it’s worth remembering that the goalposts in American politics aren’t set in backroom deals between politicians. They’re set in elections. And in the 2012 election, the American people were very clear on where they wanted the goalposts moved to.

It totally wasn’t Obama. Because, Woodward. Or something.

Zing! You see, Bob Woodward recently penned an article wherein he points out that sequestration was Obama’s idea.

Scrambling to spin began immediately.

Truth? That doesn’t suit.

Poor, little Ezra has trouble dealing with facts. So, he just makes stuff up as he goes along. The mockery, and the lesson-teaching for little Ezra, was swift and awesome.

Lapdog 101: Facts don’t matter.

And an exit thought:

Boom. Alas, journalism is already on life-support. For whom the bell tolls? It tolls for thee, Fourth Estate.

We won’t hold our breath.

The two points poor Ezra forgets is that just slightly 1/2 of Americans voted against Obama (49%) and that at the same time they reelected a Republican majority in the House. Rather than carte blanche to Obama to do what he wants, Americans voted for grid lock. At this point in history it seems to me that “a less is more” governance model is preferable to a runaway federal government. Again, the collective wisdom of the American public shows itself.

    • Rob

Gridlock is the way the government should operate. It’s wonderful when they don’t have the capacity to meddle with what we are doing because they are busy fighting each other. Instead of passing this law to give themselves more power, or that law to spend more of our money, they just sit in gridlock until something IMPORTANT comes along.

A vote “No” is a vote for the people. A vote “yes” is for the government.

      We love “No”

We must never forget that, five years ago, the Fourth Estate became the Fifth Column when Ezra Klein* founded the Journ”O”List Listserve, where treasonous Leftists worked hand-in-glove with the Obama regime to get Obama elected.

The journ”O”lists targeted those critical of Obama then coordinated vicious personal attacks against them. The journ”O”lists suppressed any news deemed harmful to Obama and schemed together to prevent the truth about his past from coming out. Their control over what many Americans saw and read gave Obama, in effect, the presidency.

Because of this, Ezra Klein* (and every other person on the Journ”O”List Listserve) should forever have an asterisk by their name so that wherever their pap appears, it can immediately be identified and disregarded.

In the world of alleged journalism, many are better than Ezra.

Careful, sonny! Remember, you mess with the bull, you get the horns!

  • Steve_J

People need to remember, Klein is a “journ-o-lister”, not an “A-lister”.

Does it really do any good to have fact checkers when the fact checkers are just as biased as those they are fact checking?

  • waltermitty2012

It’s not limited to Klein, TPM has come out to defend Obama too.

The best defense has always been a good offense.

  • Gloves Donahue, Jr.

Hey Ez. How about starting a secret group of like minded “journolists” to smear Obama’s opposition? Isn’t that what reporters do?

  • Ms Anonymous

Ezra mentions the leftist meme that more people voted for democrats in house races. He’s been beating that dead horse since the election and by doing so, parades his black-hole-ignorance of how elections work. Perhaps someone ought to sit him down in his highchair and remind him that house seats are won by districts, not by total votes nationwide.

    • skypilot77

Good point. The Founders understood that is exactly how the elections of the members to the house would happen. One district, one vote in the house. The amount of people who voted does not matter.

I see the “blogger” is once again, trying to nip at the journalist’s heel.

Bob Woodward has leftover IBM Selectric OCR balls from the 70’s that are bigger than Ezra Klein’s.
