Nuts: Chris Christie reportedly says he’s ‘not much different from Andrew Cuomo’

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie reportedly told a labor union political director that he and his New York counterpart see eye-to-eye “on 98% of the issues.”

Considering Cuomo’s political record, conservatives find Christie’s admission far from comforting.

Indeed. Cuomo is pushing for legislation that will ease restrictions on late-term abortions.

Finally @GovChristie admits the truth. Now register as the democrap that you are…. F*CKING FRAUD.

That’s a great idea. Lets primary him out so that our more conservative candidate loses to a liberal. I’d rather have a half-conservative in a heavily blue state (likely navy) than a progressive. Unfortunately politics are local and not universal.

  • austin feathers

I totally agree with that. I feel quite sure Christie has an epiphany in the works!

  • Sue

And to think that I have actually defended this fraud. I have to assume that he is nothing more than another plant … potted by the Democrats.

    • Scott Carroll

Well in his defense he does have something in common with Cuomo, Cuomo has no shot at the 2016 Republican nomination either.

    • Vennoye

I look at some of the things conservatives have said since the 44th was elected and it appears that we ALSO jump into the boat with people before they are fully vetted…i.e Chris Christy, Marco Rubio, Dr. Ben Carson been talked about as presidental candidates….it is nearly like the flavor of the week ice cream. We MAY like what they are doing right now…..but we need to see them longer before we get into the boat with them!!

  • Marcy Cook

Too much fat between those ears.

  • 2ifbyT

He’s right. And let’s not forget his two very close friends, one of whom is the frontman fundraiser for Hamas in the U.S. and the other the frontman fundraiser for Hezbollah in the U.S. Walk, no wait – run away from Christie. Just because he has a big mouth and likes to use it to shoot down stupid people doesn’t mean we have to drop our shorts and take it in the rear with him as our “conservative” banner.

    We agree!

This is just lazy reporting on Twitchy’s part. Christie said he’s not much different than Cuomo when it comes to UNION ISSUES. C’mon people. Good grief.

Google Andrew Cuomo unions and you’ll see how much the unions actually HATE Cuomo. He’s New York’s Scott Walker.

We’re always upset when people’s words are taken out of context. Well, here’s another example.

    • Tangchung

What link has the Christie quote? Not the first three (I refuse to click dailykos)

      • goldwater89

He was talking to a union guy about union issues. Cuomo has actually been very, very tough on the New York unions.

Mr. Bulman said Gov. Christie “sees value in the building trades, which are private sector unions. He complimented us and said he uses us as an example of a pro-business union.”

See? Union issues. That’s what he agrees with Cuomo on.

The DailyKos actually attacked Cuomo from the left because he hasn’t been union friendly. MotherJones did the same thing.

        • Tangchung

          Um ok.

  • GoSellCrazySomeplaceElse

I’ve seen pictures of both Cuomo and Christie…I swear they’re identical twins. Christie will change parties, wait for it…

  • mary kile

I have been done with Christie for a while. Now evenmoreso, the blinkers are off.

  • stuckinIL4now

Yeah, the only difference I see is that Christie claims to be an “R” and Cuomo is definitely a “D”–change that one letter Chrissie and then what we all know anyway will be official.
